  Today, I downloaded the latest version of Skype. I have Windows 7 Professional.

  I contacted my friend on Skype and videoconferencing worked perfectly.

  I then tried to take control of his computer via Team Viewer 11.

  Hi, the computer is a Toshiba Satellite Pro running Windows 7.

  Unfortunately, when I talked to him he got terrible echo feedback. He tried to plug the headphones in his computer, but also got terrible feedback when I talked to him. He also cut its speaker and still got feedback.

  I've heard for me no problem.

• Skype crashes randomly (no crash report!)

  Hello everyone. My Skype app crashes all the time for what seems like no reason at all. Sometimes its right when I load Skype and it connects (it will be all and say "unresponsive") or sometimes an unknown amount of time after the signature. And it will always happen almost instantly. For example, I was the role-playing game with a friend on Skype and a type a response their. In the middle of my answer, I was perfectly fine. But for some reason, Skype crashed without even having a warning. Just "Skype has stopped working" on a second without any type of precursor event at all. It does provide me with a crash report either. Someone help me, I have been pulling my hair out with her for a month!

  The message that you saw is actually an option of formatting available in Skype. You can try it yourself by typing "/ me [your message]." What your friend has done is type "/ me is dead." This caused Skype generate the message you saw as he did.

  One of my friends uses instant messaging to windows 8. He was signed as a "non-visible". He sent a text to that me and I responded via Skype (version 6.3.0.105). No reply until what he asked me if I was there.

  Looked like my messages were not returned.
