front adjustment in fullscreen

Hello

I am a beginner of LabVIEW, which did a thesis on the electric vehicle system analysis. I've done surveillance VI on a 17 '' laptop, resolution 1600 x 900, and I want to have my front in full screen, without any gray space around it. I followed the instructions on this subject:

http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/shrinking-the-size-of-full-front-panel-to-fit-screen-resolution/m-p/...

and I got the front panel during the race, as shown in the image below. We have 8 "touch panel in the car, so I need the tab control in front of Panel on the screen.

So, how can I grind only the tab control (with important information) on the front panel on the full screen?

Thank you in advance.

  • adjust the front panel of the screen size and re - position automatically objects on different systems

    Hello, I designed a vi which contains 5 led is placed at the centre of the façade that occupies the entire screen and 4 corners. However, this vi should be used on different systems, with different screen sizes. But on each screen, I'll need the size of the cover = size of the screen and the light to be placed in centres and corner of this new size of the screen automatically without manual operations and positioning bieng made every time. The option of resizing will perform this task completely or I have to go to some other techniques?

    As far as I know, what you want is not easy to do but it's doable but you have to do it programmatically (no adjustment of Labview). Here is an example for only 2 LEDs, but I guess you'll be able to make it work for your other LEDs.

    This VI maximizes the front and then positioned the 2 LEDs in the Center and top right on the race. LEDs are positioned according to their own corners left, not on the basis of their centers.

  • Reducing the size of the Panel complete front to adjust the screen resolution of 1024 pixels / 786 pixels

    Hello.

    I designed the app and now I found the screen resolution required is 1024/786. I have a lot of orders and indicators and very worried that the façade will lose his eye and he'll take a lot of time to be set for each control and text.

    I wonder if this is the way I could shrink the size of the front panel so it automatically reduces the size of each control and indicator and it fits well in the required resolution. Any ideas?

    Hi Austin,.

    Thanks to this request, this give an example below detects the monitor resolution and resize your façade to adapt to it.

  • Why the curves adjustment, often in front of which layer is the standard?

    When I do a PS CC2015 curves adjustment layer often the graph is opposite, so to make an image, I have to make the curve rises and light, have to go down.  Why it does this?

    It's driving me crazy and looks odd and makes me think that I work badly.

    In the curves adjustment layer properties click on the upper right. In the drop-down menu, choose Display Options of the curves where light vs Pigmentf/ink radio buttons control the meaning of the scales of the layer of setting the tone.

    Hello

    It is advisable to use documentPreset:

    var
         mPreset = app.documentPresets.add({
            pageHeight: height,
            pageWidth: width,
            facingPages: false,
            pagesPerDocument: pageNumber
              }),
         document = app.documents.add(true, mPreset),
         mastertextFrames = document.masterSpreads.item(0).textFrames.add();

    mastertextFrames.geometricBounds=  [(height - 40), (width-40), (height-20), (width -20)];
    mastertextFrames.contents=SpecialCharacters.AUTO_PAGE_NUMBER;
    mPreset.remove();     // or not...

  • Since Google Inbox or Gmail on Mac OS x using command-click to open a link in a new tab incorrectly brings this new tab to the front.

    Same action on any other site works very well and opens a new page in a new tab without bringing it to the front. You are looking for if there is a setting that needs to be adjusted or if it's something weird with functioning Google Inbox and Gmail. Would love to get this sort. Thank you!

    I think the address of other preferences, named in a similar way, most of the other situations:

      • default = true, do not have the new active tab
      • In the page Options dialog box, this is controlled by him "when I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" setting.
    • Browser.Tabs.Load InBackground ofdiversion = > when divert you a new window generated by script in a new tab using Ctrl + click

      • default = false, activate the new tab
    • Browser.Tabs.LoadFavoritesInBackground = > when you load a bookmark in a new tab using Ctrl + click (or right click > open in a new tab)

      • default = false, activate the new tab

  • measure the tension between adjustable borders

    Hello

    For my program, which I use to read temperatures and flows, and etc., on an engine test bench, I want to be able to build in a sort of borders of adjustable threshold for the minimum and maximum values for the tensions. When the engine is not running, there are still some low floating values visible on the façade. I want to put in a few border/threshold voltage values. This value should leave the front panel displays to display zero when the signal is very weak and floating. Is there a function for this? For ceilings, it is not really local, but I wonder if there is a building block for this already present in labview.

    My program should also be attached.

    Thanks in advance, best regards, Theo

    Is that what you want for your noise suppression? It uses the range and force? to test the signal against the limits and replaces everything off of the beach with zero data.

  • Reminders does not work in the executable LabVIEW front panel

    I have a couple of reminders in the process template that trigger an event in the event structure to update of the lights on the front panel for the user. Everything works fine until I have create an executable file. This can also be an indication of the other points, I have not discovered yet.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for all the help.

    Found!

    Not unlike most of LabVIEW developers, I have a range of utility screws that I use over and over again. Such vi is vi uses a property node to find out what environment the application is running in, i.e. .llb, exe, development, publishing student, etc.. This vi is used because SEO screws in an executable file have a way different than when their listing in the development environment. Using this vi allows your code to reference the screws properly when developing and when the executable is built. The code still works because it automatically adjusts the referenced path of the vi. See attachment 'Path Finder.vi environment'.

    Now for the fun part! For some reason, perhaps because of the friendly character of NOR and the relationship it is with its developers :-), AND decided to change the path of the executables in LabVIEW 2009. After hours of troubleshooting and countless rebuilt, I came to the conclusion that the ' paths of the band of "work magically stopped working. It was at this time one of my friends happened to walk and ask why I had everything in my monitor across the room (figuratively speaking of course, I'm sure we've all been there). I explained what could be the only conclusion, band paths do not work!

    My friend immediately began laughing, having recently had the same problem. He explained that in LabVIEW 2009 executable paths are different and our 'find the path vi' would not work. He added that NOR, after finding this funny, however gave the developers a way to solve this problem with a check box within the app Builder. The box is called "Layout using LabVIEW 8.x file." See attached photo named "App Builder."

    The only thing I could say to my friend was, ' silly me, I should have know what that.»

    Laughing out loud

    Thank you for trying to help, it launched my butt.

  • Update of Acquisition of tension over on front panel

    I have this simple motor driver program that communicates with a stepper motor controller. I now have to combine this vi with person who acquires a finite number of data points of tension. I found an example of tension over who works with my daq (usb-6009). I was thinking about another stacked in a loop sequence for works to save the voltages, motor training, save several tensions, etc. a desired amount of time.

    I wish I could see the tension on the front panel, because I'm their record. Is there a simple way to do this when requiring a finite number of tensions? I use finish because I need only say 10 seconds of data in each engine position and fixing the number of samples whose rate is a simple way to adjust the ignition.

    The examples I've seen update tension using a while loop. If I do this then the while loop keeps going until the user stops it.

    Thank you very much. 2 vi, I work with is attached.

    BTW, I'm a graduate of mechanical engineering student.

    Hello

    See this link on the waveform data type.

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/B965F316364DE17B862572DF00363B10

    Writing custom file Express VI will be likely to work as a note for a long time the sample and, therefore, the loop rate is not too high.  It's because the writing on a file of measures, although practical, contains a bit of overhead.  If you want to display multiple channels, you can merge the signals and display them on a single diagram, or use several.  It will be you.

    The best indicator to use will depend on what data you want to display.  The waveform table is going to be the most complete, but as you have found the samples back in the form of an array of double type, you can indicators table, or remove points on the table and use digital indicators as well.

  • Tank system, custom front

    I had a tank system, instead of having all the settings for the system in the front panel. For example, to adjust the water level, stop, etc. It is possible get these control and indicators for the water system tank is displayed in another window by pressing the front wall tank?

    If you are familiar with the concept of a Subvi, you can do a Subvi act as a popup to play with the properties of VI. You can trigger this popup in your code using a mouse event down or something similar. Usually, when I have configuration settings, I hide them under a separate tab on the front panel. I like tab controls well, and not some people.
