FrontView reboot from OS 6.6

Hello!

Since 6.6 I often see the message in the newspapers:

> System: ReadyNASOS (readynasd) process or service has been restarted.

The admin page is suspended and content under actions, backup and so on is empty...

After a short time, the message is in the newspaper and the admin page works again...

For the most part, which occurs after the creation of snapshots

the problem is solved by Skywalker, thx.

You can make a CD of XP (no XP media required) Recovery Console.

I don't know how or if this will help your situation and we know nothing of your environment, but at least you'll have a.

If you have no XP bootable media (or aren't sure you have) create a bootable XP Recovery CD of Console and do not forget.

This is not the same as recovery disks that may have come to a store to purchase the system.

You can make a bootable Recovery Console CD by downloading an ISO file and burn it to a CD.

The ISO bootable image file you need to download is called:

    xp_rec_con. ISO

    Download the ISO from here:

    http://www.mediafire.com/?ueyyzfymmig

Use a new CD and this simple and free program to burn your ISO file and create your bootable CD:

    http://www.ImgBurn.com/

Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:

    http://Forum.ImgBurn.com/index.php?showtopic=61

It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

You may need to adjust the computer BIOS settings to use the CD-ROM drive as the first device to boot instead of the hard drive.  These adjustments are made before Windows tries to load.  If you miss it, you will need to restart the system again.

When you start on the CD, follow the instructions:

Press any key to boot from CD...

    Installing Windows... going to pronounce.

Press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console.

Select the installation that you want to access (usually 1: C:\WINDOWS)

You may be asked to enter the password (usually empty).

You should be in the folder C:\WINDOWS.  It's the same as the

C:\Windows folder that you see in Solution Explorer.

The Recovery Console allows base as file commands: copy, rename, replace, delete, chkdsk, fixboot, fixmbr, cd, etc.

For a list of the commands in the Recovery Console, type help at the prompt of commands or read on here XP Recovery Console:

  • Satellite L750 - cannot reboot from CD

    Hi all

So I want to format my laptop (Toshiba Satellite L750) and to do this, I need to boot from CD, I did not how to proceed...

I tried pressing F12 right after system reboot, F8, button Delete and even the key of C, neither of which works, I also tried the toshiba utilities software, but I could never restart the CD?

    Could someone help me please?
    I really appreciate your answers.

    Hello

I m wondering why you can not choose the STRANGE as boot device?
Usually it after pressing F12, you should get a start on the screen menu.
    You see that?

Press the power button / stop, then press F12, you can press F12 repeatedly in the line to ensure that F12 has been registered and recorded correctly.
In addition press F2 should allow you to access the BIOS.
The F2 key should be pressed as quickly immediately after pressing the power on button.

By the way: are you trying to boot from the recovery disk created?

    Hello

I think I may have a problem with my recovery cd, I wanted to reformat my pc, so I put the disk in and followed the instructions, that there has been in the cover, which were:

    1. put the disc in the cd drive
    2. start and press C, while the commissioning
    3. follow the screen instructions

Now I never got to step 3, because when I wanted c and wait for something to happen, it never did a black screen appeared for a few seconds, then when I let go c, thinking something would happen he comes to realize it's usual start, I was able to do with the disc once before, why he won't let me now is there a problem with the disk or on my laptop?

    Hello

Have you tried to boot to another CD?
I recommend to check if it is possible to boot from the support of different. That is to say original CD of Windows or Linux, etc.
He other CDs work so I guess there is something wrong with your recovery CD.
If other CDs n t work so it of possible that the drive has a malfunction.

PS: Try to change the boot order in the BIOS.

  • What TBird personal library file is lost, that now he wants me to create a completely new e-mail... acct directly from scratch.

Initially... somehow two address books have been removed... confirmed by the user, TBird file library.
So I tried a drag and drop of my BACKUP disk, but it seemed that maybe I hit the wrong button... it looked like he wanted to hours, making me think it was not just copy these 2 files but the entire folder. So I guess I panicked too fast and press the stop button. Then the trouble started. I noticed the files missing due to the interruption of the process.
I just spent hours, consider the record of TBird profiles not only get the 2 address files lost, but also scoured carefully for any other "absent."
Then I thought to check my email TBird, in this training Back-up mode and Tbird revealed nothing of my life story / with Tbird at all! He asked me to create a new account! I thought by putting my email address in there, and the password, he would go to the where it always does... but NO luck!
I don't know all of the stuff in there to the account settings.
So, I left that and did an audit "by date" in the profiles folder, to check for missing files and I saw the top of list, 17 records like that, that obviously changed when I opened Tbird etc...
    Permissions.SQLite, session.json, prefs.js, virtualFolders.dat etc...
Reboot from the hard drive, put the address book and other missing prominently, restarted AGAIN, open TBird files and same blank window "account" watch me and no view/access my files emails years!
YES, now in the hard, users, etc. Profile folder, it shows not all address books, email folders, etc etc. But I can't access it thru TBird app...
Help, please... So much effort (and frustration) here and I also fear loss of 4 days worth of very important work. Thank you.

  • A50-522 problems on reboot

I have a problem when I try to restart windows on my A50.
The laptop instead of just restart stops down the hard drive then, after 1 or 2 seconds of power on the hard disk and start the boot process.
This happens only when I try to reboot from windows, when I reboot from linux, that the hard drive is not turned off.

Could be a problem of windows with power management?

    Hello

I think this is related to the way the operating system restarts the machine. For me, I have a M10 SatPro with WinXP and SUSE 9.1, it is exactly the way that describe you. SUSE restarts the machine, as we have become accustomed, while WinXP really turn off all the system and after 2-3 seconds, it back on itself.

I saw this beaviour on many XP systems so I guess that's just the way Ms. want him.

  • Satellite A300 PSAJ4E - black startup screen from SATA HDD

    Hello

I have a problem with my A300: when I try to reboot from the disk sata hard I only see black screen...

If I try to boot from ide/atapi CD/DVD-RW with XP (F12 to select the cd player) installation cd, Ubuntu live cd, boot any cd that it does not start and I see still black screen. The hard drive is seen correctly by the BIOS, can I read/write data to this topic with an external sata-usb cable and it can also boot from a different usb port on the laptop!

If the disk sata hard precipitates the A300 can regularly starts without a problem since CD/DVD-RW!

I also try to put the disk sata hard in the second span, but without result, the 2nd hard drive is inserted into the excluded boot device. Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    > If the disk sata hard precipitates the A300 can regularly start without problem since CD/DVD-RW!

Have you changed the HARD drive or the CD/DVD drive in the past?
As far as I know not all CD/DVD drives are compatible due to different settings master/slave/c-selc.
If using bad CD/DVD player could cause this issue

In addition, it could also be a problem of the motherboard controller.
But try to set the BIOS to the default settings. To access the BIOS and then press F9 (I guess). Save changes and check again.

    Hello

Follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

You can check if you can "disable automatic system failure reboot " from the options in advance. In this way the computer will not go into a reboot loop and you will be able to note the error code, if any. If you see no error code, you can answer comes back with the error code.

    Step 2:

I suggest that you start your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    Step 3:

If the system works fine in safe mode, I suspect that there could be a conflict of software of third party causing the problem to occur. I suggest that you start your machine in a clean boot State.

Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

See the below article access in Event Viewer.

Updated version has a problem in the history of the update.

    a. open Windows Update by clicking on the button start. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.
    (b) in the left pane, click view update history.
    c. to display more information about an update, double-click it.

Do System Restore to the point that your computer worked very well and install updates manually ensuring that do not install the problem causing the update unless it says 'important update '.

The computer is an emachine and was purchased at a walmart nearly 5 years ago and it worked fine until one day it started to do this. I can't access any of my files or anything. It must be a software problem, because since then I checked all the problems of material possible and found nothing. the result of this is that I can't use my computer. It is a desktop computer and was reliable until it happened. I'm not sure of the cause, and I think it's something wrong with the operating system. I have tried everything I know and need help as soon as possible.

    Hi josiahgenesis,

    Try the following.

Method 1: Try to select disable automatic system failure reboot from the advanced boot menu options to see if it helps.

Method 2: Check to see if the following is useful.

Randomly, one day, after that no new downloads or activities, when I started my computer it has crossed the first steps then says something don't like "Windows has encountered an error.  "Restart in the last mode which worked: normally, or in the safe, safe with order," or something to that effect, counted from 30 and began in the mode selected, then obtained for XP just loading screen after her fate of BACK, then restarted the process.  I tried to boot with all the options of the four mode and got the same result, then put on the CD I got with the computer to reload everything.  That had me reformat and I made after using the backup option that he and reboot from the CD instead of the hard drive.  But now, even if the CD is no longer in it, whenever it boots up it goes to the screen from the CD asks me to reformat.  I try very hard to not lose my data, so, even if this requires the backup of my external hard drive, I'll be fine with it as long as I don't lose all.

    eelyak321,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  So have you been able to back up your hard drive?  If Yes, then the restore function of the CD that came with your computer system should restore your system to back as if you were just there.  If your CD is System Restore did not complete the installation, then you will need to check with the manufacturer of PC.  It may be that a disk is bad, or you may need to try a different restore option.

If the files loaded at startup of the operating system are corrupt then you may not be able to start on your desktop.

Follow the instructions below that may help you resolve the issue.

Sometimes, an external hardware can also cause the issue during the startup process.

    Method 2:

Follow the instructions to start the computer in safe mode.

1 turn on the computer or restart the computer

2 start typing the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Boot Menu of Options will appear.

If you start typing the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error". To resolve this issue, restart the computer and try again.

    3. ensure that the safe mode option is selected.

    4. press ENTER. The computer then begins to start in safe mode.

Let us know if you are able to start your computer in safe mode.
