• Fighting the problem of Audio Equalizer

  Hi I have no model for the All - In - One HP ENVY 23:23 c010xt.

  I was 'forced' to Win 8.1.  I had been checked "remind me later" for months until it just went ahead and did it.

  I am Livid at the fact that the graphic EQUALIZER Beats Audio is disabled.  The sliders on the work left, but you cannot adjust the sound as you can with an equalizer.

  I searched the web for hours, days and ALL tried.  I have no doubt the most recent driver (after unistalling/reinstalling, etc. etc.).  It just is not supported in win 8.1, apparently.  He worked much to gain 8.

  I don't know if I'm more angry with Microsoft, HP, or beats.  One or all of them dropped the ball here.  This computer as $1 K and the Beats Audio was a key reason I bought it.  It is simply unacceptable, pathetic.

  I have $800 paradigm Millenia spekers and listen to a lot of records on the ground that need EQ.  where MS, HP, nor beats will solve this problem, which seems likely since the problem seems to have been around for a while, can anyone suggest a sound card, or driver or software 3rd - party who has an equalizer that affects all sounds, including Youtube & Vimeo?  Realtek?  SoundBlaster?

  There only seems to be a lot there - that's why the beats Control Panel was really great when it worked

  I watched the sound options on my computer (Windows XP) and I did something to the equalizer that messed up the sound. I have Realtek HD Audio Manager, if that helps. The screen where I did something shows the equalizer and allows that you choose things like 'pop', 'rock', 'living', etc. I have no idea what I did but I can not get the sound back to normal. I tried a bunch of different choices (pop, rock, bass, treble, etc.), but none of them felt right. I also tried a button that says "Reset the EQ setting" but what has all the right settings equalizer in the middle and has no sound right either.

  I thought there will be a way to get back to some kind of windows by default, but I don't see that anywhere. Can someone help me?

  Default settings which is neutral, is normal.

  To get the sound you want, it uses your realtek Manager thingy.

  I just new Sansa Clip + 8 GB a few days there and may not know:

  is it possible to have a separate audio books and music equalizer?

  I noticed that the audio books is played with the same parameters of the equalizer which has recently been used for music. I find it boring. It would be perfect to have separate sound settings audio books that would be stored in the device memory and restored automatigically after switching to music or audio books.

  ... Or at least... for easy way to change the settings of the equalizer while listening to audio books. Now, I have to let audiobook, playing music, change the equalizer settings and return to the audio book to achieve this.

  Is it possible to make it easier?

  I have installed the latest version of the firmware - 01.02.18 and wanted through forum but found no solution :-(

  You don't have to go through this. It does not need to go into the menu music and start playing a song in order to change EQ, but since there is no settings in the Audio menu book, there are a few keys that you must pass.

  While playing your Audio Book, press the home button once to go to the main Menu. Press the Up button once (assuming you land back to the main Menu with the menu music on the screen). Upward pressure is the settings Menu (once you enter this menu, it will return to him automatically when you press the Home button).

  Press the Center button to enter the settings menu, then again to select the top option, music Options. The 3rd option down is the EQUALIZER settings. Here you can change the settings of your individual preferences while listening to your Audiobook. Once set as you like it, simply press the button twice to return to the play screen.

  I have a set of Altec Lansing speakers hung on the sound board. Its a speaker setup nice for the money - but the sub has a higher than low normal output level and do not have a bass level button. In any case, after installing Windows 8 Pro I've only the standard options for enhancements such as bass boost and room correction etc. There is nothing for the taste of an equailizer everywhere are. Living in an apartment and not wanting to annoy people, I am eager to find some drivers who will give me an equalizer to play with. Neighbors of downstairs must hate me...

  If a program specifies win - 7, but not 8 (on your box of victory-8) all run from the table rather than the metro interface. I haven't had a problem of compatibility.

  First was driving me crazy with this. I hit the play button on a 1080 p mp4 file and the video freezes on an image and the audio just continues to play while the image is stuck. Aaaaaaargh. I closed and reopened first, even reinstalled, no luck. 

  My system stats (I would be happy to provide more if necessary. I'll come later with screenshots, because I just restarted the project and it now says media pending.)

  I bought the anvy 17 t-j000 for work and had to downgrade the operating system windows 7, because the company does not support windows 8 again.  In my downgrade, I was able to install all my drivers required, but miss me the control software audio beats.  I would like to be able to adjust the audio equalizer and the speakers 'quad' in my laptop.  Suggestions for the software would be greatly appreciated.

  I was informed by other members that I helped to install W7, you need to install the audio driver IDT W8 taking in charge of your PC and driver page to get the Beats Audio to work.

  Hello, I have recentally purchased my HP 15-j007cl and it came with audio beats. Audio beats has its own control centre, then the user can change the equalizer settings and the sound. Control Center has worked for me up until a few weeks ago, some time after I've upgraded to 8.1 windows (Note: audio Beats Center worked after I updated). But now for some reason when I open the Center audio beats, it does not give me the option to change the graphic equalizer, it shows just the sliders with a greyed over the color, all by clicking on I has no effect, but all rest in the Panel works very well.   YYou can do multiple clips at once, or you can make one and copy and paste other attributes. It depends on the program, but usually video is rated in sequence by sequence, unless the shot is repeated.

I haven't changed any settings, and yet my sound is worse than it was in Vista. I have the latest drivers and everything. Then it came to me...
