Fs9 (Flight SIM 2004) does not start on my WIN XP with Kaspersky PURE machine. The error message is:

The error message is:

Flight Simulator cannot run from a restricted user account and will now quit. Please log in using an administrator account and restart Flight Simulator.

I'm under it in Administrator account, that he used to work quite happy to!

I tried to create a new account and it works from there

XP is up to date through automatic update as it is Kaspersky PURE and my suspicion is that a security update is broken something.

I checked the privileges of the user account on each component in the path of the c: to FS9.exe and ensured that he has any possible privilege

I said Kaspersky PURE trust

I even tried to run with protection of Kaspersky off.

I uninstalled and reinstalled.

As you can imagine, I'm at my wits end and I had to postpone my side instrument renewal because I'm out of practice, because I used FS practice and sweeping of the instrument procedures and now I can not!

    You will need to contact the carrier, it is locked to and follow their unlocking procedure. Only the carrier to ensure that it is locked can allow and process a request for unlocking.

    Someone please help I was able to do this before, but can't do the job now?  Thank you.

    ACHOIWONG,
    Well, it's system files to discover good good news.  Is probably why chkdsk does not work due to not having permission start upward.  Try to run it from an elevated command prompt:
    Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
    Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
    At the command prompt, type chkdsk c:/r

    Try and let us know if it works.
    Thank you

  • Windows does not start gives a 0xcooooo98 code file:ntoskrnl.exe and the status

    I went to microsoft update, and important updates of downloaded and my startup collapsed Windows I tried each seting I could find that it keeps telling me that a file is missing or corupted is there anything I can do to set the file

    http://www.windowsreference.com/Windows-Vista/fix-for-ntoskrnlexe-missing-or-corrupt-error-0x0000098-when-booting-up-Vista/

    Read the information above.

    We do not know what type of disc of Vista you have.

    Try these steps to do a Startup Repair:

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
  • Since I updated to Firefox 8 on Mac OS x 10.4.11, Firefox does not open more (not same previous versions downloaded via Safari). I get the error message "You cannot use Firefox with this version of Mac OS x" (translated from Dutch).
    I tried to create a new profile, the problem remains the same.
    None of the 3 accounts on this desktop computer can use Firefox. This has never been a problem. Today (14.11.11) I've updated Firefox to 8 and nothing more. Via Safari, I downloaded Firefox 7 to reinstall, same error message.
    From Firefox 4, Mac must have an Intel x 86 processor (which you do not have) and OSX 10.5 or higher (version OSX 10.4).
    The good news is that Firefox 3.6.24 still support OSX 10.4 and Mac with the PPC Mac architecture. The bad news is that the support for Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.
  • EliteBook 8640p does not start after replacing hard drive with a 128 GB crucial disc M4
    Hi all
    This morning I was not in box a new Elitebook 8640 p and instantly replaced the hard drive with a new 128 GB crucial disc M4.
    Machine installation installation clean Windows, restarted etc. I then installed the drivers, restarted etc. Have a windows index score and I was immediately impressed by the 7.9, but...
    The laptop won't start. Right after that the first portable screens it just stops at a black screen where it should show the logo "windows". I put the original hard drive in and the machine starts very well and I put the M4 in my office and it begins to start.
    It seems so the reader is fine and the laptop is fine, but the whole... Nope.
    Any suggestions?  (I want to send them both back after spending this money a lot of things should work like clockwork)
  • Mac does not start in recovery; could be related to Time Machine
    I recently bought a new Mac with El Capitan. Last night I finished a Time Machine backup to my old Mac (also El Capitan) and installed on the new Mac Time Machine backup.  When it was done installing, it has stopped working - I just hit a blue screen. After an hour or two, I restarted and it has never progressed beyond the Apple symbol and the spinning wheel.  I tried to reboot into Recovery Mode to try a re - install, but it won't let me.  I then went in Mode safe mode with set reports and he never finished, start the system, he kept having the same error pop up - 'tried to access a file compressed or unregistered type 7' or '8' again and again.
    I am at a loss.  Is it possible that I can boot into Recovery Mode, or otherwise get this machine to run?
    Thanks for your help.
    Start the MBP with the OPTION, COMMAND + R keys.
    Which should translate into a display showing a rotating globe:
    Following the directions, you will be connected to the servers Apple and power reinstall the original OSX.  You may need to wipe the HARD drive before installing the OSX.
