  It is a Kaspersky problem and not a problem of Vista.  You should contact the http://support.kaspersky.com/support or better http://usa.kaspersky.com/support/consumer-contact.php to help with this problem.  They will need your registration number.  We do not know what generates messages or how to stop it (but probably some files remain despite the restoration system - either the new facility prior installation).  There may be a special removal tool to uninstall the product, you need to use to do it properly (because SOMETHING generates messages and it's certainly Kaspersky) - and there is: http://usa.kaspersky.com/support/home/208279463/ (which goes far in explaining the reason of this problem).

  Since he filled out your drive with these messages, there is no way to re - install the product (there is apparently no space) to get messages to stop and then it would be a simple matter to locate and delete (or maybe this is not simple stuff – I don't know this particular AV product).  But you can run the removal tool, and perhaps stop messages (assuming that the tool works when the program has already been partially or almost totally uninstalled).  But it is a matter for their tech support people.

  In short, you need to talk to Kaspersky to fix this.  If they're doing their thing and there are tasks that are related to Vista and you need some help with that, so feel free to post back and we'll do our best to help (but provide us a summary of what they did and what they said should be done).

  In the experimental method, we need create the profile of the road using jacks. Its cost too much. I don't want to do that.

  I would like full of model.is of vehicle it is possible to time real suspension test using labview? Let me tell you what I want.

  I have to fix four sensors on four wheels to measure the road disturbance. Then I will join four more sensor on the car body.

  This difference in two reading will give the perfromace of my suspension. Whenever I drive my car, I can get this place profile and the road to the deformation of the car body. Finally, I can measure my performance of car suspension.

  I'm about to send my NSLU2 to the Distributor. When installing first authentication did not work Vista when the network drive mapping - this has been resolved with the evolution to allow NTLM on local security policy.

  In our application, we had implemented using interactive report, the following clarifications required.

  I'm still trying to understand why I have to have as many backup files. I guess this is the Vaio Care that prompted backups several times this year (and also in 2009 and 2010). 2011 the only backup files have already taken over 160 GB of space on my external hard drive - a third of its available memory. Each year backup files are in a backup set. Can I get rid of the backup sets for 2009 and 2010. And some of the files earlier in the game this year?
  What all because I can't say Vaio Care I have a set of recovery discs, made for me when I bought the laptop? Vaio Care report saying me that I have no recovery discs. It would help if I advanced (in Vaio Care) and made another set of recovery disks?

• GarageBand crash when opening the editor/noon

  I recently installed "Impact_Apple_Integration_OSX_1.0.5" on my Macbook Pro (mid-2012, El Capitan) to use the Nectar LX49 with Garageband.

  Since installing my Garageband hangs every time I try to change a midi file or try to open the editor.

  The error says:

• Safari quit unexpectedly repeatedly and...

  Like many others on these forums my safari does not open and keeps giving me an error message. (Interestingly I think the text in the error message from time to time changes sometimes the code is "Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) Codes: EXC_I386_GPFLT ' rather than pasted below).

  It was working fine yesterday while I was mail in the Orlando Airport (on their free public wifi) and now does not work. I am a novice in computer science, but I wonder if something happened.

  I store the data field up to 3 months to create historical reports or analysis of the conditions on the ground.

  The requirements of the project are already set by the customer. The client wants to complete 10K to 28 channels. He cannot afford the minimum sample rate or data loss.

  I tried with the TDMS files to store 10 kech. / S (size SGL) given to 28 channels (sine wave); the size of the file is approximately 3.5 GB for 1 hour. The full-day data come around 84 GB, I'm not sure of the size of the TDMS file that can support up to as much of the file size, if it does not then support once again, I have to save the data to the full day in the whole of the bunch of TDMS files. Now if the customer wants to see the full data report 1 time in graphical format or in a table the task to perform the action takes around 2 to 3 minutes or some time it came up with an error like "not enough memory". If at the end of the day if the user wants to see the report full day how I can provide the report who have such huge data.

  I use the LocalSystem PXI RT with a hard drive. PXI have always given 7 days as a backup, or in case of failure of the connection with the server, the backup data is in PXI.

  So my question now even than the database or a file format I have to chosse store comprehensive data.

  If there is no techinque to compress data, please suggest me.

• force the scroll bar vertical table

  I have a control which is an array of enums. I show only a single element. LabVIEW will allow me to display a horizontal scroll bar. I need the scroll bar to be vertical to match the other controls and LEDs on the front panel. LabVIEW seems hardcoded to prevent me to display a vertical scroll bar on an array with a single element showing. frustrating.

  I think that there is a bug in the way the dialog box manages the selection/deselection of scroll bars that a person OR you participate on this conversation and "Send" to have a CAR # assigned.

  I don't think being able to have a vertical scroll bar on a 1 d array that is sized only for 1 item maybe not a bug, but a design by programmers of LV decision.  Perhaps because a vertical scrollbar on the controls of normal sizes such as strings and numeric values would be too small to be usable.  But for larger paintings such as a cluster, why not?  I would say that a scroll bar is more intuitive, when there is no room for it.  Generally, it looks like that elements of tables 1 d as being lines, so a vertical scroll bar would allow you to roll the lines upwards or downwards.

  Work around a possible would be not to use the scroll bar on table, but let down your own scroll bar vertical on the FP and nodes of property allows you to set a range and value of this slider to set array shown using his property node index.  The event structure should probably be used as well to manage a change event of value on the scroll bar.

  

• USB-6259 digital input READ

  Hi all

  I have to admit that I am inexperienced with DAQ cards (just do simple things in the past). We just receive the NI USB-6259. The plan is to use it for many tasks. One of them is a digital signal to measure at the maximum rate. So far, I have tried ti create a task in MAX - what I've managed to achieve was to measure samples of 500-700 to 1 Mhz using N samples measurment. In order to have 1 Mhz sampling rates, I use an external clock PFI12 (output meter 0 - I put the counter to generate 20 Mhz Signal - 50ns/50ns time Time High/Low).

  The thing is - it possible to obtain samples is acquired at 1 MHz with continuous mode? When I try with my current settings I get overrun error - I have tried task ru round trip - first clock generator started, then input digital. and the other way entry digital, first of all - so I guess that this overrun is not due to misuse.

  In the documentation it says:

  If the DAQ device receives a DI Sample Clock when the FIFO is full,
  it reports an overflow error to the host software.
  

  Is there another way to receive digital signals, where a picture lasts about 6 ms and consists of 8-bit?

  
  

• Graphical waveform Linestyle Bug?

  I found that problems associated with the waveform diagrams and line styles in LV2016.  If I change the line style of a multiplot for long dotted graph, the plot is changed for long dashed, but if new values are added, they will appear as short rushed. If there are other long plots dashed, they are modified short wiped out too. It happens with all styles (modern, classic, silver).

  Everyone knows about these problems? Try again with the example below.

  The good news is that you are not crazy, LabVIEW 2016 's erratic behavior.  In an attempt to discover what had happened and who was responsible, I wrote a little routine to read and set the Styles of plot line for graphic signals 2 consecutive values from 0 to 4 with a variable delay (so I could put 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or, say, 2, 3, 4, 0, 1).

  My initial code read the line Style, and then return.  I could tell by looking at the plot that something wasn't right, and if I ran it again, I could see what values were used.  For example, if I put 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, I had 0, 2, 2, 3, 4, while 1, 2, 3, 4, 0 gave me 2, 2, 3, 4, 0.  Since I did the reading before writing it, I needed to run the code twice to see what did the writing, so I changed the code to read, write, read, as shown below:

  Either incidentally, I added the delay time within the loop "just in case" LabVIEW need time to "adjust" the plots - I think it is probably indifferent...

  To my surprise, the line Styles after were exactly what I expected - with an offset of 0, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4.  However, if I immediately revived this code, the front line Styles (which should have been 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) were now 0, 2, 2, 3, 4, false!  Also, if you look at the plots when you run the program several times without change to the Offset, you see Plot 1 change the appearance (probably when my 'put' loop runs) and then switch again as the numbers start to come there.

  I just called Tech Support, made to this post, attached the code illustrating the problem (so they will have something to test), and I expect that they will confirm the Bug and drop off a CAR (report on the Corrective Action) to solve this problem.  Thank you, NiklasN, to describe this issue.
