• How to kill iTunes old Viewer add-ins

  I have a couple of old Viewer add-ins, being Eyephedrine, that keep appearing as non-functional when I start the latest version of iTunes.  I can't find any links or where they are buried in the new improved system of files in hidden folders.  The old rules on research iTunes plug-ins no longer work with OS X 10.11.5 El Capitan.

  Any ideas on how to clean up some of the detritus of my system.  It's one of the dangers of using the migration wizard.

  From your post, it seems that at this point you are simply wanting to remove your old iTunes plug-ins. Here are a few steps that will allow to do:

  1. Open Finder
  2. Hold down the Option/Alt key and in your menu bar, click go > library
  3. Find and open iTunes > iTunes Plug-ins
  4. Find and delete the old viewers

  This should stop these alerts that you saw for broken visualizers. See you soon!

  Are you sure that this has not been caused by the Tab Mix Plus?

  Your list of details of the system shows a lot of disabled people with only active TMP extension.

  Have you checked for code in userChrome.css if you use this file to customize the user interface?

  In the Firefox Safe mode, these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled (subject: addons)
  • Default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored (chrome in the profile folder file)
  • default toolbars is used
  • JIT JavaScript compilers are disabled
  • hardware acceleration is turned off (Options > Advanced Options > general)
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

  Everytime I open Firefox displays a window that says: cuevanatv.asia, I have read articles where they say I have to remove cuevana extension but preferably is not the add-ins tab.

  Hello: I am trying to remove an option of Yahoo suddenly appearing in my MENU toolbar (no).

  To get rid of Yahoo in the Menu bar, try this:

  1. type of topic: config in the location/URL bar and press the Enter key
  2. If you see a cautionary, accept it (promise to be careful)
  3. Research on the topic area: config page, type yahoo.ytff.options
  4. If you see an item in the Panel yahoo.ytff.options.menubarlower, the column value will be true
  5. Double-click this item to toggle the value false column or right-click this item and click "Toggle" to switch the column set to false
  6. close the topic: config tab
  7. You may need to restart Firefox to see the change.

• Impossible to update the add-ins

  I can't update my modules. I first noticed this trying to download Google toolbar for Google, but now I see that the error message appears when I try to update my modules.   I would like to be able to document all the add-ins, as well as version information as well as any other readily available information which is part of the installation of firefox.

  I am aware that there is a box to tools-addins, but I want to be able to re-captured the list in text format in order to document the installation as well as the notification of troubleshooting.

  Is there something available? Is there a place to make a suggestion for improvement, if not?

• Acrobat software plug-in component DC not no projection in Office 2016 Com Add-ins

  I have Office 2016 running on three computers.  I have Adobe CC 2015 running on all three.  One of the computers shows the PDF Maker and works very well (Finally, after changing the registry properly, in any case).  However, others show even the DC Acrobat as an option to load add-ins Office 2016 COM.   What gives?  Is there somewhere in my system, I can go to find the add-in and have it load into Office 2016 COM so I can activate it?

• Adobe Muse (2014.3) function 'Add Web fonts' does not not as expected - newly added fonts become unavailable as derivative

  I had some odd/irregular problems but they have now become fairly predictable in nature. The question is regarding Adobe Muse (2014.3) and the availability of the web fonts provided through the functionality of the applications 'Add Web fonts '. Once added to perform as expected, then they become "unavailable." Details below. Was a complete creative cloud Subscriber for a few years, so I am quite familiar with the way the system works less some problems that have arisen at the time, including.

  System information:

  Adobe Creative Cloud (full subscription): Version 1.9.1.474

  Adobe Muse: Version 2014.3

  OS X Yosemite: 10.10.2

  Here's a summary of what took place. I will detail the bug as best as I can.

  
  

  1. creation of new Adobe Muse project. Everything is normal.

  2. has chosen to add a new font using the function 'Add Web fonts' in the Muse. A note, my creative application of cloud's race / open at all times (in the mode of file synchronization).

  3. has chosen the new fonts to help above. Everything seemed well (see screenshots below).

  

  4 fonts were also indicated as being "synchronized" in Creative Cloud (screenshot below).

  

  5. as expected, the two fonts have been added to the list of available within the Muse Web fonts (first screenshot below - left). I added the successfully on my site. Well after that a number of hours, I went back to the same menu of selection of fonts within the Muse and the fonts was still visible but the submenu that you'd expect showing various forms (bold, italic, etc.) was not available. In a sense the police could not be selected in the list even if the name is clearly visible second screenshot below - right).

  

  Have no idea what can be wrong. Saved the Project Muse, closed, and then reopened - nothing has changed. Created new project - fonts always menu 'shows', but cannot be used. Find a vague description by using Google to a similar problem (different application) which recommended Creative Cloud Desktop App closing and reopening as a possible solution. It WORKED at first, but the problem, well fixed for a period of time (a few hours at most), will reappear again where we would see once again still not being able to choose two Web fonts. Went up to the Cloud to uninstall then reinstall Desktop creative application. Still not solved the problem.

  Any thoughts as to what this may be would be welcome. Restart the CC application whenever fonts are no longer available is quite a lot of time for my workflow.

• Word 2007 menu add-ins, items appear twice...

  I'm using word 2007 and the OPM 10.1 win7.
  I have to attend a course of OPA/OPM and we saw that the add-ins menu seems odd.
  Several students who attend the course are the same phenomena.
  
  If I select the add-in tab in word, the OPM shortcuts appear twice, an initial configuration, then when I scroll to the right appears a second series.
  It is only right that works.
  
  If I hover over the first set smiley face, the ToolTip indicates "rules Office Haley: compile (Alt + R)". " If I check the ToolTip of all more to the right, it is said, "Oracle Policy Modeling: compile (Alt + R).
  
  I just installed OPM 10.1 on this pc. No older version (such as older versions of Haley)

  Try these 3 tips to restore the toolbar on how it should display:

  1 when your project is open in modeling the strategy of Oracle, run the update of Oracle policy templates in the Tools menu. This will attempt to ensure that the correct model of Word is attached to each Word of project that is currently excluded from the build document. Open a Word document to see if the Tools/Ribbon toolbar is now displayed correctly. If this is not the case, proceed to step 2.

  2. try to reset the language of the user interface for your project. To do this, select Options in the Tools menu of Oracle Policy modeling. Select environment. Select general. According to the language of the INTERFACE, choose a language other than your language of the user interface and click OK. Then repeat these steps to go back to your preferred language. Open a Word document to see if the Tools/Ribbon toolbar is now displayed correctly. If this is not the case, proceed to step 3.

  3 open one Word documents in your policy modeling project. Run the UpdateToolbar macro: in Word 2007, select the view Ribbon, then select Macros Macros/vue, select the UpdateToolbar macro, and choose run.

• Disable add-ins such as nik and Topaz

  Is there any 'easy' to disable the Nik, Topaz, etc., add the ins? short of uninstalling them can a start Lightroom 4.1 the program with a key or combination of keys that allows to disable these supplements?

  Gerry's right. They have zero impact on the responsiveness of LR if you don't use them. And if you use them, you do not use LR as you do, so they won't hurt you. Really.

  Older versions of Mozilla Firefox allowed for Internet Download Manager module and I used it frequently, but with the last update I can use it is no longer. When will this fix?

  Hi ragempa, Mozilla announced a procedure for publishers of extensions to submit them and get them signed by the team of modules. No doubt IDM will do it later. But it shouldn't be compulsory...

  In the final version of Firefox 40 and 41, the signature requirement is not applied, there is only a warning. If your says the extension is blocked because it is not signed, please check the following parameter:

  (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

  (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the xpi and make a pause so that the list is filtered

  (3) if the preference xpinstall.signatures.required is in bold and "user set" true, double-click on it to set it to false

  If that is already set to false, then another problem with the add-on that is originally not not to work. Could check you updates IDM?

  Have you tried to start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the key < shift > (Options of Mac) , then from Firefox. Is always the problem?
