Fusion 4.1.2 on MacBook screen resolution problem
I have a MacBook running Lion 10.7.4, and which is connected to an external monitor.
The valve of the MacBook is closed, then the only active display is the display 1920 x 1080 external.
However, Fusion somehow seems to think that the office is 1280 x 800 and restricted my Windows Windows of the unit
to be placed too far to the right.
This affects all windows in Windows (Windows XP).
This occurs also in mode full screen!
I can't drag the Windows Windows too far to the right of the screen.
I just upgraded to 2.0.6 to 4.1.2.
2.0.6 doesn't have this problem!
But of course, it worked only with 10.7.3 and lower...
VMWare, please go to the bottom of this.
It seems (from the forums) that this problem of "multiple monitors" has been around for Fusion 3.x.
I operate every day in the same configuration with an MBA with the lid closed. You must make sure that VMware Tools is installed the latest version. You can do this by using the toolbar of the Virtual Machine and select install VMware Tools.

Satellite C70 - A - 16 L - screen resolution problem
Hello
I recently had a screen resolution problem with my laptop (C70 - A - 16 L).
The max screen resolution which is imparted to me is 1366 x 768, whereas before I think he used 1600 x 900.I tried the latest drivers, Bios, etc. and have also restored the operating system to a previous backup, as well as a new installation.
I also tried to roll back to Windows 7 (with proper drivers). They all offer the same problem. This new maximum resolution display correctly - as if the LCD does not deal with the timings of 1366 x 768.
I believe that the Panel is OK and the problem he reports the EDID information properly - to force windows to use the new resolution. Is there a download monitor.inf file that can be used to bypass the EDID reported by the Panel?
Kind regards
Antwist.
If the right to display drver is usually installed everything should be OK.

Screen resolution problem
I have a dell latitude d630 2.5 GHz computer laptop under XP Professional 64-bit operating system. The screen resolution will not be set above 680 x 480, and when I try to increase the computer stops with a black screen message that don't stay long enough onscreen to read. Dell advised that they don't or support this machine with the XP operating system and that they have no drivers or other fixes for the problem. I hope that you will be able to help and thank you.
Hi dduck11,
· What is the default screen of the laptop resolution?
You need to update the graphics (video) drivers for the laptop. I see that there are Windows XP drivers available for the same thing. Download and install the updated drivers to see if it helps.

Screen resolution problems (Windows 10)
I downloaded the latest trial 9 Captivate for Windows 10 and screen resolution problems. Basically, making the software unusable. A lot of screens and dialog boxes seems larger than the current window, they are in, making the right and downstairs parts invisible window (usually, this is where the 'OK' and 'Cancel' buttons for example).
I'm Captivate on a laptop running 64-bit Windows 10 (Sony Vaio with an NVidia GT 640 M map graphic with the latest drivers)
Does anyone know how to fix this? Here are some examples:
No retina.
What is the size of the police on? Win10, it is often larger than 100%, which is not really necessary for your resolution, but that's a retina display. I am using Captivate on Win10, but Surface Pro and laptop have a retina display.

I have the latest version of Yahoo mail. When I click on the link "mail" of my Yahoo homepage, he directs me to a page that reads, "There is a problem of screen resolution". In the body of this page, it explains how to fix the problem. BUT, I don't have a problem with the resolution - the screen resolution should be 1024 x 600 or greater and IT IS! This only happens with YOUR browser. I have Chrome and IE, neither of which is a problem. I worked with a representative of the yahoo mail support and he explains that it IS a problem with Firefox and for raise you awareness and fix the problem - I use a Vista operating system on a computer and Windows 7 on my other computer, which has the same problem, so we KNOW for sure, it's a Firefox issue.
I don't think that the effects of this question all those who use Firefox because I'm able to visit Yahoo Mail without any problems. I would say that to reset the zoom of the page on the page, this issue occurs on. You can do these steps go to view > Zoom > reset or press (Ctrl + 0 (zero).

Satellite U200 - 1920x1080@64Hz on the external LCD screen resolution problem
I am the owner of a SATELLITE U200 and I would use it with an external LCD display.
The external monitor supports up to 1920x1080@64Hz.
When I select the 1920x1080@64Hz option in the properties of the screen, I get an image enlarged and out of range of the scale. However, by selecting 1400x1050@60Hz seems to work very well.
My question is: is there anyway I can get the 1920x1080@64Hz option working properly?

It s nice that your monitor supports the screen resolution 1920 x 1080, but you should check your owner's manual.
On page B-4, you will find a list of the supported screen resolution and I must say that the resolution 1920 x 1080 is not taken in charge.
You can select 1920 x 1440 but not 1920 x 1080.Sorry, but the material doesn't supports his screen resolution.

Portege 7220 screen resolution problem
I recently bought a laptop portege 7220 and windows me was installed until I can get more ram added for win xp. The problem I have is that the screen resolution is set at 16 bit color and it is stuck in resolution 800 x 600. I can't go to 1024 x 768 pixels. So instead of having a display full screen, everything is displayed in a small box on the screen. I have tried to install the drivers from the toshiba site and even have local pc tech shop trying to fix it, but to no avail. Does anyone know how I can sort this problem because it's a great laptop and I want just full screen to work. Thanks for reading and any advice/info on the left.
Hi, this must be a driver issue; your 7220 native resolution is 1024 x 768, that's why 800 x 600 is displayed in a window
I suggest that you switch to Windows 2000, it works perfectly on a 7220 and has the lower memory requirements than XP
In W2k there is most appropriate drivers available and with the drivers from the toshiba site, your problem should be solvedBTW: Make sure that your BIOS settings are good (especially the "extended-mode display"), you should consider updating your BIOS to the latest version

With L520 screen resolution problem
So I got my L520 (78595AG) today and to my disappointment the max screen resolution I could achieve was only 1366 x 768. One of the reasons why I chose to buy this laptop was precisely because of HD +. I tried to remove the old drivers and reinstall the new, but to no avail. The computer is fully up to date (ThinkVantage and Windows).
Any suggestions?
As far as I know, the only thing I have not tried yet is updated the BIOS, but right now I am running version 8GET33WW (1.10).

LabVIEW screen resolution problem
Hey all,.
I'll have a serious screen resolution or something another problem... whenever I open anyones VI it seems to make every piece of larger text (like text offers grouped by name, for example) where he did all my co-workers screws appear as they are crushed together where, as they open it on ANY of their laptops It seems. I tried to copy the file LabVIEW.ini one of their machines to mine but it stil does not solve my problem.
It's almost unbearable, while we develop applications of large scale with many things happening in the comic book and the FP...
Someone knows a way I can fix it, it seems to be only in LabVIEW, open Web pages, TestStand opens fine, etc..
Search the forums for messages on the Windows fonts.
Any chance that you are using a different operating system that they are? Is it possible, that you have something integrated windows font size higher as 125% and they put it to normal?

I am running XP Professional service pack 2. Recently, when I go to web sites, I get a message "warning - your screen resolution has not the standard configuration of 1024 x 768 pixels. Some elements of dialogue isn't visible. "When I go into control panel my PC is set to 1024 x 768. It's more annoying, but it's getting more and more worse. Any help would be appreciated.

with dv 9500 Screen resolution problems
Can someone help me with the problem of screen resolution. It's all out of proportion. I tried all the possible functions of resettlement to the factory setting, update drivers and play with the setting of the resolution. Nothing helps. I have my laptop for 15 months and I can't return the resolution of the initial screen. I reduced the resolution 1268 x 600. I can barely see the scroll bar, but its size is reduced by 1/4. A black band on the top of the screen. Everything works well except the settling of display is not working properly. I spoke with 3 HP technical support online and they all give the same advice, but none of them have worked so far.
Any suggestion on how to solve this problem without having to spend a fortune on spare parts?

(VISTA OS)
1. right click on your "DESKTOP" and choose 'CUSTOMIZE' at the bottom of the pop-up window
2 - Select the last item "DISPLAY SETTINGS."
3. give me your setting (number of pixels) by dragging the slider to "LOW", "LOW RESOLUTION" also give your monitor and the name of the graphic card located under the photo in the display settings tab
(example - default monitor on the standard VGA adapter)
I guess your original resolution is 1440 x 900 pixels?

Windows 7 Netbook screen resolution/problems to install Uniblue Powersuite
I was given a netbook Dell running Windows 7 Starter. My old computer is a full laptop, so I had no problem to launch the software Uniblue Powersuite.
Their website States the following as the minimum system requirements:
- Processor Intel® Pentium® 3 500 MHz or equivalent
- At least 256 MB of RAM
- 750 MB of free space on hard drive
- Graphics mode 800 x 600, 16 bit color
- Internet Explorer® 8
- Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows 7 and Windows 8
- Active Internet connection
The site lists the following as recommended
- Intel Pentium 4 clocked at 1 GHz or equivalent
- At least 1 GB of RAM
- 1 GB of free space on hard drive
- True-color graphics mode 1024 x 768 (highest 32 - bit)
- Internet explore 8
- Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
- Active Internet connection
When I try to install the software, I get the following error:
"Incompatible screen resolution. Required a minimum of 1024 x 768. »
... Well, this isn't what your Web site says, but it's cool. So, I'm going to change my resolution. Here are my choices:
1024 x 600 (recommended) - currently selected
800 x 600
I get this error select any resolution.
What can I do? What I need to contact Uniblue on divergence and support? Or is it a problem with my netbook?
You must contact Uniblue support for this question because it is on the software side.
