fusion pages and direct mail

Hi sorry but new to Mac.

Using the 5.62 Pages and numbers OS X 3.62

in some older versions, I read that it is possible to run mail merge if you print letters etc. contacts or Numbers spreadsheet.

This feature has completely disappeared in the version of 2016?

If so do we need to use the PC for office work or y at - it an equivalent Mac in Word that can do the basic functions of fusion.

Thank you very much Mike

There is no possibility of merge data / messaging integrated into any version of Pages v5 since its launch in October 2013. There is a third party tool that has been designed to allow the merger of data / messaging limited Pages v5. The author of this application frequently for messages in the Community Pages, and is the only source of support in his favor. It has a link to the free app in the previous link.

V4.3 pages ' 09, Apple's previous word-processing application, integrated messaging/data merge capabilities, and over a 100 other features that Apple has not added on Pages v5. Many of us continue to use the old Pages ' 09 on El Capitan 10.11.5 v4.3 is superiority on Pages v5.
