  You can update your firmware printer through the web interface.  When connected, get the IP address and use your browser to access, for example... http://192.168.x.x.  From there, you can do the update of the firmware. BUT until you do that, go to the area of networking and configure your wifi connection and assign a static ip address and give it a DNS address (address of your router).  You can't do the updte of the firmware without the DNS address.  That's what did the trick, I think.  Without the DNS, it will introduce the network every 48 hours (seems to).  My printer has stay connected for a week now.  Good luck.

  As above, I keep losing internet connection on PC laptop of HP Pavilion g6 and often have to go out to get it back. I had the laptop for over a year and have had this problem from day one. After the market again was mine. After that, it was OK for a week or two, then I started having the problems that I have now. My son sitting about three feet from me on his laptop has no problems at all so I know that it is the laptop and not my router. My wife, my son and my phone are also on the internet through the router when it fires. Now and then it will be OK for a few days, but most of the time it turns off several times a day. It's a good pain as each else with the laptop is great.

  I have two laptop computers Toshiba Satellite A300D and A500-13F and a new Linksys WRT120N router. A300D has an Atheros AR9281 wireless network adapter, while A500 has Intel(r) WiFi Link 5100 AGN, and both have Vista 32. It's the A500 which keeps disconnect the connection, it's as if it keeps restarting from the router. It will do this every few minutes and I can't do anything normally on the internet.

  I tried to do something but nothing works. Updating the drivers for the adapter on the A500 does not resolve the issue, although A300D works normally without updates, so there must be something wrong with the adapter on the A500. I also have sellected maximum performance in Power Options > change plan settings > change advanced power settings > wireless card settings, because I read somewhere that energy-efficient settings can interfere with the adapter. I thought that this solution worked until he started to lose and by restoring the link again. Everyone guess what else could be wrong?
