  • HP Pavilion g4-1125dx: Network Drivers Crash during Install

After the installation of a new SSHD and Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 bit I found three missing drivers. Ethernet controller, controller PCI device and network are not installed when you reinstall Windows 7. When I tried to install the driver for the Ethernet controller and network controller it crashes and says "the contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable file that you are trying to run has been damaged. If please get another copy of this file, verify its integrity and try again. "I downloaded the drivers from the HP website several times and I have tried all the other drivers avalible all with the same problem.

Any help to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.

    Hello:

I guess that the problem is on your end - especially if you do not use Internet Explorer 10 or 11 to download files.  The HP support pages are designed to work on THE 10 and 11.  Not good when W7 comes with IE8 in standard, until you can install the updates.  I addressed this with HP and I have been informed that it is what it is.

To confirm that what I wrote is the most likely cause of your dilemma, I downloaded (using IE11) and connected the driver Realtek ethernet support for your laptop, page and it works beautifully.  I do this because my PC uses a different model ethernet controller.

For the ethernet controller and peripheral PCI, you can use the newest drivers directly from Realtek, and it does not matter what browser you use.

Ethernet: 3rd file on the list.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 14 & PFid = 7 & Level = 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

PCI device: 1 file on the list.

  • G4-11125dx: USB Driver issues HP Pavilion g4-1125dx Notebook PC model #: LW342UA

    Hello.  I have a:

    HP Pavilion g4-1125dx Notebook PC

    Model #: LW342UA

When it has been upgraded to windows 10 I lost all USB functionality.  The Device Manager uses a driver, but it does not work properly.  "Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller" and "Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller" have the yellow exclaimation points with the USB symbol next to them.  Under properties, it reads:

Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

    {Unable to load device driver}
HS device driver could not be loaded.
    Error status is 0 x %x

When I try to roll back the driver nothing is available.  When I try to update, it says I already have the best driver.  I tried the windows update and Easy Driver software but no luck there.

I confirmed that I do infact has power to make ports (USB fan :/) so I don't think that it is a hardware problem, especially since it worked before upgrade.)

I know that its a laptop older, but I upgraded the CPU to a quad core Phenom II N970 and this 'thing' is running if good, I do not give up on it.  Ethernet and wireless are working properly and there is no other troubled hardware issue.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cory

I tried to go back to windows 7, but I've been spending the period from 30.  The laptop is not the recovery disks, or a partition to do.  For the heck of it I advanced and reinstalled windows 10.  Now the USB ports work correctly so I guess it was something that happened during the initial upgrade?  Anyway thanks for your help!

  • When wifi hp pavilion 1125dx back back and touch works don't no how to fix

Need help im mandate - cannot afford technical help, here's my problem with the wifi turned on I try to return back or press ENTER key doesn't not work, I have a hp pavilion g4 series 1125dx... sound seem im coming from a dead-end maybe someone can help me get this resolved issues

Hello blackbass.  I understand that you are still having problems with your return back and enter keys.

Initially, you said that the question was present when the Wi - Fi was on.  This means that when you turn on Wi - Fi the issue disappears?

Has never carried out the restoration of the system as suggested above by Kyle_W?  This would help determine if the problem was a software issue or a hardware issue.  In this way, you don't have to open Notepad and replace the keyboard without being sure.  However, if you do not have a restore for some time point before the problem started, you should consider performing a recovery.  This brings back the laptop to factory conditions and rules with a certainty of 99% software problems.  However, all THE DATA that you are backing up before recovery will not be lost.

If the recovery does not resolve the problem, then you probably do we need to replace the keyboard.  You have already purchased the keyboard, but you also want to take a look at the Guide Service and Maintenance of your laptop.  This covers how to disabled Notepad and replace the keyboard.  Here is a link to the guide.

I hope it's useful.  Have a great day!

  • HP Pavilion 1125DX-G4

Best way to describe my problem: "my laptop dispay went too low of the last 1.5 weeks and it works as usual, if I connect external monitor." «The screen is quite small start-up itself - I don't even see the BIOS on the laptop LCD, can not read/see what happens»

I did troubleshooting basic exercises: as to disconnect the battery, AC adapter, pressing the power button / stop for 60 seconds. ; Install the latest version of the BIOS, the latest graphic drivers etc, nothing has worked for me.

My machine is still under warranty. I bought this laptop in the United States and traveled to INDIA (my country). I reached out to HP support and they advised me to travel to the United States and they will choose portable to any address in the United States for support. Traveling from INDIA to make my laptop repaired is not feasible, started looking for an alternative solution. It's unfortunate, a global company like HP is also working with limitations

I hope that & I'll get a few alternative option to travel to the United States to repair the laptop.

Thanks in advance, really appreciate your input on this.

Done a lot of work at home for 10 days and got my laptop "s show the work.

I followed steps are similar to those in the paper support HP with a small gap.

    1. turn on the system

    2. make sure you have not any external monitor or device to the laptop.

    3. during system startup, manually remove the battery

    4. press in and hold the power for 45 to 60 seconds.

    5. attach the computer battery laptop back and turn on your machine

    6. the machine should be back to normal. The display is normal.

    * The risk you take is, due to the ""(removing battery) O.S. hard boot files may be damaged and you may end up reinstalling the OS (this may be the worst case scenario and I better back up data before following these steps). "."

Looking at the Device Manager, I see that the driver date is 07/11/2013.  Where can I find the updated drivers for this?

The version of the driver I have right now is 6.10.6496.0

Is there still a good reason do not update the audio drivers?

    Hello:

    The audio works fine now?

If so, I would not update the driver.  Many problems with W10 and IDT audio.

There is an audio driver IDT W10 on your PC support page if the Beats Audio doesn't work properly or not at all.

I don't know what model your laptop wireless (network controller) card use, so please do the following and I will post the link to the wireless card driver you need:

Since there is no driver installed wireless, we need a labeled device network controller in Device Manager in the category other devices.  The network controller device will be a little! mark next to him.

Thus, to find the network controller device, click on that and then click on the Details tab.

Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

On this list and select the second element (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  • Video drivers for HP Pavilion 6700 Geforce 8400 gs

I recently spent from Vista to XP on my laptop and now I have most of the drivers reloaded, I still can not find the drivers for my nVidia Gefore 8400 GS video card or my audio drivers.  I tried all the places I can think of as well as many hours trying all the drivers that are recommended for this problem.  Please help me.

Well, after many hours of work on this computer, I think I've found which can cause a lot of problems crossing your operating system from Vista to XP and try to find your video and sound drivers.  Thus, in order to allow your drivers install on a computer that is come from the factory with Vista installed on it, you must download the program flash bios HP offering their topic Download Driver for XP for the laptop there.  After you properly flashed your bios without burning your northbridge in the meantime, you can install your video drivers.  But, still does not allow video drivers, at least for my computer which is a Pavilion 6700 on the nvidia site.  I found the applicable driver download for my computer to RadarSync. com, which is a nVidia 8400 m GS.  In addition, the same problem happened with my audio driver for my audio controller realtek alc268 HD, and I had to download this driver from a different 3rd party source who was techpowerup. com  I hope this helps those of you who may be trying to downgrade from vista to xp.  Be careful and good luck.
