  • CF 9.0.1 Solr does not have the Java virtual machine path

As part of the security of some of our machines for use of DoD, need to maintain the versions of Java.  To do this, we install the latest JDK and use the server settings > Java and JVM > Machine way Java virtual to then tell CF to use it.  We have done this since CF4 without any problems and when we moved to CF6 + we continued the process, but also after having what we then delete the folder of jre in runtime folder leave the CF is. Well I have just the program installation and installed my first CF9 + Win 2008 R2 server and after doing this the Solr service does not start.  This had me so dig in its folder structure and it has its own folder of the jre in its folder structure as well.  But using Sysinternals Process Monitor, I can see the service Solr uses NOT the folder of the jre from the inside it of own structure but is actually going up and 'try' to use the runtime\jre folder that I have deleted so it causes the service to fail.  I can actually delete the solr\jre folder as long as the runtime\jre folder exist.

There are so many problems with this.

  • Outlook does not, Exchange is a virtual machine on my iMac with public IP address

My iMac is connected to my switch and my switch is connected to my NVG589 of ATT modem.  My iMac draws a DHCP ATT modem and the intellectual property IP is 192.168.1.64.

I am running VM Fusion on the Mac, version 7.1.3 (3204469) and I've updated for yesterday.

One of the virtual machines on my iMac is Exchange 2013 and it has a public IP address.

So, to summarize, my iMac is DHCP with a private class C address and my VM is static in a class A public address.

Before the update I could open my outlook on my iMac and it connected to my server exchange very well.

After the update, my vision and my iMac OWA do not work.  My outlook to connect, but it won't draw down of any mail and my own just can't OWA load.

Exchange and OWA work from any another machine other than the iMac.

I can't help thinking that it's something in the update that has done this because it worked before the update 7.1.3 (3204469).

The NIC is auto detection against NAT or bridged and I haven't changed it.

Can anyone suggest something that I have not tried?

  • Network card does not start on a Virtual Machine

    Hello!

I recently installed VMWare Server 2 on a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003 Standard. I created the first Virtual Machine to run Windows Server 2003 Standard (32-bit). However, when I connect to the virtual computer, the network adapter is there, but "can't start".

I set up the network card to be filled so that the virtual machine can have its own IP address and do not share with the host. I intend setting up a total of 4 virtual machines on this host, but want to get the first configured correctly first.

What else should I check to make sure that the virtual machine can use the network to access the network card?

    Hi JT,.

    Welcome to the forums.

Did you install VMware tools in your virtual machine?

    Good luck.

  • the other hard drive to the host system does not show in the virtual machine

I tried but I couldn't find an article on how to get the other host hard disk appears in the my window of the computer of the VM guest.  I don't want a virtual disk or anything like that, just access the other hard disk of the local host without having to map a drive to it if possible.  Thank you!

Physical disks are not supported on VMware Server 2 (at least not via GUI options).

  • Toshiba Equium L40 - 10U Wireless does not

I recently updated my Toshiba Equium L40 - 10U to Service Pack 2 for Vista and now my wireless does not work. I tried to update my driver - but its already been updated, checked for updates - all installed, ensured this driver has been activated. Yet I still can't wireless to work, I don't know what to do now!

I checked my network connections and my wan (PPPOE) miniport is disconnected when you try to connect it comes up with ERROR 815. Then I have to make sure that my internet connection options were correct - do not establish a connection and do not allow the proxy server and still get this message.
My BIN is Realtek RTL8139/810 x Family Fast Ethernet NIC (do not know if this is useful or not) I tried to turn it off then try and turn it back on? But do not know if that would improve the situation or not.

    Hello

    (1) do you have made no changes before this problem?
    (2) what is the exact error message / complete you receive?

Method 1: Follow the steps in the following articles and check if they help.

Step 1: Safe mode with networking
See the link below and check if the problem persists in safe mode with network.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in Mode safe mode with networking, I suggest you to put the computer in clean boot mode and check if it helps.
    Clean boot mode
A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
Try to install the updates in clean boot mode, and check if the problem still persists.
You can read the following article to configure the computer to boot:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After completing the troubleshooting steps, please refer to clean the start link to set up your computer to normal startup mode.

Method 2: Follow the steps in the below items to Disable Antivirus and firewall and check if it helps.

Step 2: Turn Windows Firewall on or off

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Note: You should not turn off Windows Firewall unless you have another firewall is enabled. Turning off Windows Firewall may make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.

Method 3: Uninstall and reinstall the drivers

You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers who can help you further.

  • Satellite Pro 6100 Wireless does not work after restoring from HARD drive

After that restore disks for installing a new HD and use and to update XP sp2, the Wireless does not work and if the card is installed XP hangs then works in fits and starts. If the card not in place, not bad at all.

Booting from a Linux CD, the card works perfectly! I assume that the driver is the problem. The wireless card is the original, an Agere MPC13A-20/R, with Toshiba p/n PA317U-1MPC.

I have found some drivers Agere, but am not sure

    (1) if they are correct
    (2) how to install since the machine works in a way limited with the card in place.

    Any advice?

    Hello

I checked the page of the pilot and the only available for Windows XP WLan driver is the driver of v.1.11.108 Agere.

    (1) just try to install this driver. If the driver is not correct or is not compatible, then windows will not install the driver and you will receive a notification. You just have to try

    (2) generally you may reinstall the driver from the Device Manager. Open network controller tree, and then you can reinstall the driver.

But this is only possible if the windows started successfully

PS: Have you checked the information of Microsoft Windows XP SP2 update on the page of the Toshiba driver.
I discovered that you need to update several utilities if you have installed SP2 on this laptop.

    Hello

I just got a Satelite L505-13N and upgrade to Win 7 Professional. The Wireless does not work. It seems that the driver is not yet installed.
FN + F8, that should give me the option to turn on/off Wireless does nothing and the wireless on the laptop light is lit (orange color).

    What should I do?

    Thank you

    George

    Wait a moment George.
What do you mean with upgrade? Did you do your own installation of Win7?

  • Satellite L40-17 t Wireless does not! Win 7 32 bit

Hello, my name is Alex. I have a problem with Toshiba L40 - 17 t wireless driver.

So 3 weeks ago I got windows 7, WiFi worked fine, had no problems with it.
Recently I reinstalled windows 7, and now my wireless does not work. It is said that no connection is available, even if the distance between my laptop and the router is 10 cm.

I tried windows 7 driver newest---> does not
I tried windows vista a newer driver---> does not
I tried the windows xp compatibility mode---> does not

Lucky my local network works, and I can't access internet, but I also want to use the Wi - Fi function.

My wireless card is Realtek RTL8187B.

I tried the drivers from realtek site too, they are not no longer works.

However, I remember before you reinstall windows 7, I looked at the version of the driver and its date was around 2008. I have not found all the drivers for Toshiba L40 - 17 t, difficult 2008. I hope someone can help me solve my problem.

    Thanks in advance,
    Alex

    > I tried drivers from realtek site too, they are not no longer works.
Is this means that wireless network adapter is not installed and recognized properly in the Device Manager?
In the Manager of devices-> network cards, you should see the wireless network card. If there is no yellow exclamation point and then the wireless network card is installed correctly and that the driver is working

    > I have windows 7 ultimate, wireless worked fine, had no problems with it.
Recently I reinstalled windows 7, and now my wireless does not work. It is said that no connection is available, even if the distance between my laptop and the router is 10 cm.

This suggests that there is s configuration problem.

First of all; Are you sure that the WiFi was enabled? Using FN + F8, you can enable the wireless network adapter. If the FN buttons would not work, then you must install VAP (value added package) and Flash memory card Support utility. If you didn t find these tools in the pilot L40, please check the new generation of portable devices such as L500 or newer.

On the other hand; are firewalls, antivirus software pre-installed that could affect the connectivity? Check it; I've been reading about similar problems, and finally a firewall (like zonealarm) was the problem!

Following; Do not forget that you have configured the wireless correctly; use the good encryption and password; for testing purposes, you can disable the security settings on your router and may attempt to connect without the use of encryption.

  • Satellite Pro L40 Wireless does not and wont stop correctly

    Hello
just got a Satellite Pro L40-15 1 week ago and it's been downhill.

The Wireless does not work (and yes the switch is activated and drivers installed). Sometimes windows recognizes no device when I boot.

And when I stopped he said blocking down, but crashes just on this screen.

Now, I'm an advanced user, so I've tried many things. Can anyone help?

    Thank you

As a first step, I would recommend to use the Toshiba Recovery CD and renew the operating system.
Then update the Vista of the State. I mean to install patches and fixes Vista all published.

    Check this thread:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums//thread.jspa?MessageID=107665

Here you can see that a missing patches can have a bad influence on the wireless network card and the entire operating system!

    Good luck

The last such Intel driver published by Toshiba download would help solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your support!

    Hello Christmas

You can try to remove Inter PROSet and use the Windows settings for WLAN configuration.

I don't have this problem, but you can also try installing the latest version of the Toshiba support page.

  • Satellite L500D-163 - Wireless does not

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L500D-163 (with card wireless 802.11 b/g/n)
Router: Pirelli Discus (having support 802.11 b/g).

    Hello

I bought a portable Toshiba, Satellite L500D-163, two days ago.

Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux 10.04, the Wireless does not work. It shows all the available wireless network neighborhood, including mine, but it connects to my network.

I also have an Acer laptop that connects to my network wireless without problem.

I placed the Toshiba laptop side by side with my Acer laptop and tried all the options:
    802 11b, 802.11 g - WEP, WPA, WPA2
with simple passwords of the style: "00000000".

and SSID wireless to the router changed something as simple as "abcde".
Computer Acer laptop connected without problem in all cases, but Toshiba didn't connect.

In Windows 7, the connection information appears as connected but 'Limited' and the software Toshiba says that the laptop is not getting an IP address.

I manually entered the IP address (192.168.1.2), subnet mask (255.255.255.0) and the default gateway (192.168.1.1 router =) below the configuration in Windows 7 wireless card, but it did not work.

The laptop must support Toshiba, or y at - it an incompatibility with my router?

    Thank you.

    Great! Thanks for that!
