G510 G510s maximum ram memory

I have reviewed the user guide and the guide material and other type of ram and the number of slots, I don't think any reference within the G510 and G510s will be.

Can someone help or better yet, to direct me towards the plug/reference which tells?

BTW, crucial.com, says max 16G.

Thank you

Rich

Hi rwernst,

  • Maximum RAM memory in a Portage 3490 CT?

    Hello group,

for awhile, I use my Toshiba Portage 3490 c. I bought it used and it has 192 MB of RAM, it must be a 64MB and 128 MB module. Specifications say that the maximum RAM is 256 MB. I plan to buy the new RAM because it gets slower with all programs installed on the machine (even though I already installed windows again completely). I think that it is also less RAM.

Anyone know if it is possible to install 2 x 256 MB = 512 MB of PC133 RAM, good as the specification to say that there is a maximum of 256 MB?

    Thanks for any response: o)

    Hi David,

Your Portege shows 192 MB of RAM, because 64 MB was reserved for the graphics card. The real RAM installed will be 256 MB.

The actual number of programs you install should make little difference to the speed of your laptop, unless you run multiple applications at the same time.

I'd be inclined to run Disk Cleanup, followed by disk hard disk defragmenter, and then check in the Task Manager to see what processes you have actually being run. You can find several that are not strictly necessary and that is you can tap with.

If you already did so I would also recommend Runnin' one or several anti-spyware programs to ensure that your system is really clean.

  • IdeaPad S205 RAM/memory: maximum speed?

    Hello

Lenovo customer service/tech support I asked this question several times, each to give me an answer to 1066 mhz.

What is the maximum SPEED for the RAM/memory usable by the S205 with AMD Fusion the E450 processor?

I understand 8G (2 slots of 4G) is the maximum capacity of ram.

But what is the maximum speed of the ram? I thought that the maximum allowance is 1 066 mhz due to the site, despite the AMD website, saying that the E450 can manage 1333 mhz.

Obviously, I want to max out my RAM. I went on the site of Kingston and used the option to locate specific RAM for this device and it gave rise to 1 066 mhz 2X4G sticks. So I bought and it just. I just want to come here and see if someone actually KNOWS what as the maximum speed capability (or anything else I should be aware of outside Gig capacity) which can take the S205 with AMD Fusion the E450.

    EDIT:
In new research, I found the following.

    (1) according to the support of crucial technology, the RAM frequency/speed is controlled by the processor CPU only. And as said by him, the AMD 300 and 350 have a maximum speed of control for the RAM of 1066 mhz. However the E450 has a 'controller memory integrated (up to 1333 MHz) DDR3"as seen go ( http://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas/content/pdf/system_data/s205_tech_specs.pdf ).

Also note that just below him, he goes on to say that the maximum speed for RAM is at 1066 mhz. Therefore, this disturbs more the issue. It seems to me that, when they are max memory capacity and speed, they forgot that the E450 can manage more of the E300 and E350 and simply serve their maximum speed of 1066.

I already went ahead and bought 2X4G 1066 RAM. Fortunately, I did not open them. But now it comes to ship to the company and having to order the good 1333 mhz RAM. Otherwise I use RAM that is slower than my full potential.

I advanced and called Lenovo and it brought to their attention. After the daughter of back and forth between 1066 and 1333, she decided at the end (of course assistance from their technical support level 2) 1333 is maximum for E450.

    Conclusion:
It seems that if you have E450, you may have to 1333.

If you have E300 or 350, you can have 1066.

If anyone has confirmation, please tell.

If you go to the Lenovo support site and enter the serial number of your S205, if will give you a list of all the machine components (including the RAM module manufacturer, size, speed, etc.).

The manual indicates that the specification of RAM for my S205 1066.  By entering my serial number, I found that Lenovo had actually installed 1333 RAM in my system.  Then, when I added more RAM, I knew to add 1333 instead of 1066.

No, I didn't bother to check my actual speed of the RAM.

    Hi Forum,

I had a Satellite L10 281 opportunity just before Christmas. I'm very happy with it.

He has 256 MB of RAM onboard.

Is 2 x 512 MB modules the maximum RAM for this computer?

    Thanks in advance,

The L10 281 isn't bad. It's a nice book for simply and commonly used.
    Computer laptop support max 1024 MB of memory (2 x 512 MB) and you can use 256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25) and the modules memory 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51).

  • What is the maximum ram for the zd 8000

I have a zd8000, which is the maximum. This will take the RAM memory.

    Thank you

ZD8000 looks more like 2009 or more. Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

The series began as a Socket 775 Pentium 4 machine, but I think that the end of the race, with an update of the BIOS that you can actually use Core2 Duo processors in it and it could take up to 4 GB of RAM and run 64-bit Windows. The model numbers ran upwards in the range zd8400, if I remember. These are huge machines which are essentially computers in a portable cover but plenty of room in there, so easy to disassemble and to work on.

There should be a label on the bottom with the complete model number. The manual doesn't really described very well later. It is a rare beast, you don't see very many of them.

"1000 HP" covers several models. You will find the complete model number? Here's help with that:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00033108

Models of the 1000-1xxx series HP, for example will have 8 GB of DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM memory in modules of 2 x 4 GB.

    Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

Memory requirements are on page 3 and installation instructions are on page 48.

Here is the memory, you can buy:

    http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=HP%201000-1129TU

The two models in the series of 1000-1xxx HP AMD and Intel use the same memory and can take up to 8 GB. As long as you get compatible memory of high quality that you should not a blue screen. This is why it is a good idea to buy from crucial.com. And this series will also run 64-bit Windows.

  • PAVALION 15-AU116TX: 15 - AU116TX (Maximum supported Memory) HP PAVALION

    Hello

I ordered the 15-AU116TX PAVALION notebook and I here are the questions for the upgrade of memory.

    1) there are 7 Gen Core i5 and I went through this (http://ark.intel.com/products/95443/Intel-Core-i5-7200U-Processor-3M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz) specifications. It is clearly stated that the processor can support up to 32GB of RAM.

-When I checked with the public support they told me that maximum supported memory is only 16 GB.

Can you please clarify on this?

    (2) if I install additional memory (whereas it will take over 32 GB, I intend to add 16 GB of additional memory) my warranty is void?

    (3) what is the configuration of the motherboard with above laptop?

    Kind regards

    Ankur

    @ankurtr

Your laptop has only 2 slots of memory and the memory bus is designed to support the 16 GB.

If you have a laptop computer with 4 slots "as a Dell M6600' you can have up to 32GB.

Ark is to give the max, that the CPU is designed to not the advice of different systems.

If you have a desktop computer with the same processor and 4 slots you could then add the 32 GB max.

  • Pavilion 15 p-020tx: Maximum RAM to Hp Pavilion P 15-020tx

I have Hp pavilion 15 p-020tx with 4 GB of RAM. It has an empty slot. I want to know how I can add the extra RAM. What is the MAXIMUM of RAM limit for my model.

I found a solution for my problem.

There are two slots for RAM in my laptop and I think that one was primary (where original RAM was installed) and other secondary (empty housing).

Unfortunately, by updating my RAM memory, I changed the position of the RAMS. either I put new RAM (Corsair 8 GB) in the main location (where my original RAM was installed by HP) and placed originals RAM (4 GB) in the secondary location. So my system detected no additional memory.

Now the positions of the Rams stayed original and my system has detected an additional memory so and showing 12 GB of RAM.

  • HP ENVY M6 1310sa: what is the maximum RAM can take a 1310sa?

According to the title: what is the maximum RAM can take a 1310sa?

If you have indeed the m6-1310sa laptop, then 19 GB installed as a pair of modules of 8 GB will bring in 16 GB memory. Also what says the manual.

Unless you like surprises (no boot), only to install an identical pair of guaranteed compatible memory from a memory well known manufacturer modules. (Kingston, Crucial, Corsair and al.) Do not mix strips memory of different capabilities, configuration or manufacturers. Remove the original strips and replace them with upgrade modules.

  • Maximum RAM on Pavilion DV7 Notebook PC

    Hello

I have a Pavilion dv7, QF272EA #ABD with 8 GB of RAM installed. Is it possible to increase the RAM 16 GB - what RAM Modules should I then? On official documents the maximum RAM is 8 GB, but at the time, documents were made, no 8 GB Modules were available.

The BIOS supports 8 GB Modules? The laptop has two slots, so my hope is, if I replace the built in 2 x 4 GB with 2x8GB, I have 16 GB of RAM.

For what I need it? Different virtual machines at the same time for running the job. :-)

I'm sorry for my bad English. Thanks for your help!

    Thorsten

    Hi, Thorsten:

    Your English is very good.

Since your computer laptop is the Intel processor, you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory.

You need PC3-10600 memory laptop. Make sure that it is 10600, not 10660 or 10666.

See the manual at the link below, Chapter 1, page 6, for the info of memory.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02842278.PDF

Now, several manufacturers of memory have produced memory 8 GB PC1333.
