G530 - missing microphone.

I just realized that a microphone is missing from my laptop. Did not exist and only the software updates have been made and now the microphone does not appear in the material. Nothing is done, physically, so I don't know where he went.

In the sound options, he says recordin devices that "no audio device found".

I tried to download the webcam updates and audio, but I have not the case.

Any idea what I can do next?

You can try to re - install the audio drivers?
(uninstall the current first, restart your computer and re-install again)

    Thanks for the idea, banhien!

When I right click the image he showed an option to display disabled devices (which was not selected by default) and when I chose "show disabled" the missing microphone rolled up and then I could right click on it and enable it.

  • Looking for Inspiron microphone solution

We just bought an Inspiron 13 and discovered after opening the box there is no built-in microphone.  There is a shot of two-one for the use of a headset.  This seems to be a deficiency.  My wife and I share a laptop when Skype'ing our children so the only microphone based on the helmet is not an option.

What do you do to overcome the missing microphone?  Add an external Bluetooth microphone/speaker?  If so, what would you recommend and how to add a Bluetooth device?

Hello. What is the complete model name? I looked in the documentation of these models and they all MICS.

    Inspiron 13 (N3010)
    Inspiron 13 (7348)
    Inspiron 13 (1730)

If there is an Inspiron without a mic that I'd make a note of the model. If she doesn't really have a microphone I could return, or consider getting a micro usb - bluetooth audio can be difficult on Dell laptops. Here is a picture of a thumbnail.

    Hello list!

I have a laptop A500-026 Toshiba for presentations (via overhead projector) and internet communications (Skype, etc.).

At a recent presentation, I was using the internal speakers of the place (plug in the line-out jack on my A500), but to receive a feedback from my microphone, I had used successfully in my Skype (using the built-in webcam and microphone on the A500). I tried all the solutions to cut the microphone (by selecting RIGHT click the speaker icon - recording devices do not seem to cut the Microphone) and finally the pressure and the stress of the situation too rolled my given what I was actually doing.

Now, I don't have ANY "recording devices" AKA Microphones on the system, and I spent the last 4 days trying to reinstall the built-in microphone. I reinstalled the RealTek drivers, but there is still none identified microphone.

All help to restore the built-in microphone of A500 would be accepted with gratitude!

    Hello

You should check if the microphone has not been disabled.

Go to control panel of-> sound-> recording tab
You need to right click and must enable both options called hidden devices and see the disabled devices.
Now you should see 2 microphone inputs; a second and internal microphone should belong to the external microphone jack.

If you want to use the internal microphone and then mark it as a default device.

    See you soon

  • Never used front microphone input, correct Recorder window, no audio output.

Sound input tape recorder going nowhere, an acoustic window is supposed to open, it does not work.

There is a software that is missing in my computer portable pavilion g7.  Its media player is fine, its internet

is fine, don't you miss that sound comes from the microphone input.  The sound recorder window is open and the

record bar is moving because the entry varies, how do I get the sound to the speakers.  Never used this

the option before, it might be defective from the factory.

Problem solved.  You can not turn on computer with the microphone or other audio cable.

If the computer does not meet the entries, you must connect the microphone or audio

cable after connection and then a window will open allowing you to select the default entry.

  • Satellite L50T-A445 - microphone does not work

    Hello

I tried to use Skype but my microphone is not working, I have re-installed all the drivers but it's always the same, I click with the right button on the icon on the system tray sounds and opens "recording devices", and it seems to detect a microphone (device Realtek HD audio by default), but still no sound. It's a new laptop and it gave me headache more. Can someone help me solve this problem please? Am I missing a driver or something here?

Thanks in advance for your support.

    > I tried to use Skype but my microphone is not working
Have you tried to record a short clip using the internal webcam and webcam Windows application?
If this isn't the case, that the built-in webcam is supported by the built-in microphone and it s able to record video and audio.

I guess that you can not use the internal mic in relation to the Skype due to the wrong settings. As far as I know it of possible to change the settings of the microphone in Skype.

  • Satellite L50-B916 - recording external Microphone does not work

    Hello

Connect an external microphone to * Headphone\Microphone combo socket *, still records through portable microphone instead of externally. Registration of external Microphone does not work.

    What Miss me? Please notify.

    Model: L50-B916
    Screenshot: http://s12.postimg.org/j8h3v5k4d/laptop.jpg

I can't say with certainty what may be wrong here, but two things confuse me:
-somehow your external MIC is obviously not detected because in the case when the external microphone is connected laptop switches automatically to it
-I don't understand why there are two identical entries under recording devices.

When I connect my headphone it is always a single entry (Conexant SmartAudio HD default unit), but my machine automatically goes to the external microphone only.

Have you tested the feature with some applications like Skype?

  • Screw is missing after service and can't find the right display driver

Last week, I complained about the weakness of the MIC and I sent mobile care Toshiba in Adelaide. Yesterday, they sent it.

    Problem:

I checked the laptop carefully and discovered there is a missing screw near the wireless switch. (The type of screws must be F6.5). Pourriez-Toshiba sent me that screw so that I can put that back on?

    problem 2:

The problem, my laptop had last week was low level of the microphone. I adjusted the level of the microphone to 100% and 0% boost, I can't do something the mic flag shouting at the mic.
Yesterday when I check the den report, he said "his updated and adjusted video drivers mic boost, replaced mic, update bios, past all the diagnostics unit.

It worked well when I checked. But for some reason, I need to re - install the laptop. After I reinstalled the system, the same old problem came once again! Then I updated the bios, audio drivers. According to the report, I should update the video driver too. I went to mytoshiba.com.au, in the download page of windows 7 for the P500, I couldn't find the video driver for my laptop. Mine is "NVIDIA GeForce GT230M version = 8, 15, 11-8642". The driver on the web page is '8.634.1 - 090729 a - 086065C - Toshiba AMD display driver.

I even downloaded and tried to install the video driver. After the extraction is completed, I checked the basic information from this computer. The bios and audio drivers are updated, but the video driver is always the same and low mic level problem is still the same.

Last week I called twice the phone supports, more than an hour of waiting, spent a lot of time on the forum, made a very ugly box and sent the laptop to the mobile Center, my laptop has been opened and changed the part and sent to me. After all this, I still have the same laptop with the same problem and now missing a screw!

I appreciate the work that technicians did. They did fix the problem. But I don't want to send the phone to them each time after I re - install the system. So please tell me how to solve this problem.

    Hi sayhi80,

I doubt that Toshiba you can send this screw but you must contact the service provider allowed again. I'm pretty sure they can send you the missing screws and you can install it yourself. This should take only a few seconds.

Regarding your question on the display driver: what graphics card you have exactly? If you have an nVidia card, you can install the t AMD display driver.
In addition, it would be interesting to know what laptop you have exactly. Maybe you can post the exact model number.

Normally all the drivers are placed on the page of Toshiba

  • Lenovo E440 microphones reversed? I think that the left and right are wrong

Hi, I have E440 i5 8 GB Windows 10 to date and version of driver Conexant 20751 SmartAudio HD 8.66.16.50. I clicked on "update driver" and came to is that it is the most recent version.

In the settings of the card, I enabled 'hear this device' and position normal when you look at the screen and your hands on the keyboard, if you type the right hole mic I can hear the left audio channel and vice versa for the left. Is this normal? Try with your laptop. I mean, it would be nice if you want to record something with the laptop back on what you want to record, but I think that most of the people in the land would the laptop screen making in the face of what they want to record, especially if they're going to use the camera and video.

Looked at google but nothing came

Add: I noticed in the properties: configuration of the Microphone, in the 'Options' tab advanced, there in the background 'Improve the Signal' and a checkbox "Enable sound improvements" WHICH I ALWAYS turn OFF and the sound quality is crisp, clear and loud, but the pickups are reversed, now if I select this check box, the sound is really bad miserable, for 256 Kbps 32 Kbps and its going to MONO. Any permeable I scratch, sound comes from the Center, so I would REALLY like that this "activate sound improvements" disabled people, hands down. PD: This option is not even reduce any type of noise, I know it's what he is for, I can still hear my strikes and miners of sounds equally with it enab/disab.

Another thing is: it not "Conexant Audio Setup GUI" nowhere to be seen, I have looked everywhere in the PC, this audio driver just doesn't does not with any audio different installation "Dolby" read and option on the 'enable strengthening its' in the record.

OK, updated, I thought I had won the battle, well, almost, rebooted again and reinstalled my pc the * beep * driver CONEXANT, but found another solution, followed this tutorial
    https://blogs.msdn.Microsoft.com/matthew_van_eerde/2010/08/23/troubleshooting-how-to-install-the-MIC...
And recovered the "pilot High Definition" and I think that this time it will stay.
One thing I noticed that the volume icon in the lower right missing, check list "hide icons" and "Volume", it turned on, I am appearing at this time, may try another reboot.
