G580 FreeDOS came with 3 partitions

My new FreeDOS G580 came with the following partitions:

1 local Volume 29, 30 GB FAT32 MBR

2 local tome 29, 30 GB NTFS MBR

3. part Lenovo 1 083 GB MBR NTFS (at the end of the HARD drive)

I think, the partition of Lenovo, I need for the OneKeyRecovery. But the first and second volumes of FreeDOS?

When I want to install Windows 7 and Windows 8, can I delete the partitions?

Mine was the same. I have advanced and deleted the two partitions of small, which gave me a single huge partition and I installed Windows 8 on it. So basically to answer your question, Yes, you can delete them.

    original title: Partition of mystery

    I just got a new computer. It has a 2 TB hard drive that apparently has already been partitioned, creating a drive E. I have not create the partition. The files on the partition are old EULA, the .cabs, and .dll files, but this that baffles me, is that the two disks are the same size, 2 TB. It is the size of the disk itself. Whence comes this extra drive, and how these two readers may overlap?

    Should I remove this extra drive and if so, how can I do?

    Thank you

    Tim

    Wait, I'm CONFUSED! YOU can not HAVE a PC THAT IS 4TB SIZE!

    EDIT: Sorry, but Acer installed 2 HDD. (Wow!)

    Be sure not to remove the 2nd partition, because it IS a recovery or backup disk.

    Hello

    The unit was delivered with the Toshiba Recovery CD because the help of Toshiba (on the desktop) contains an option to create the own Toshiba driver and Tools CD.
    This is why only a disc.

    By the way. You can create the second partition and there you can install a second OS without removing the available WinXP

  • Running Mac OS older than what came with the Mac

    I just got the phone with Apple's Support and the representative told me that no Mac will perform a Mac OS older than the one that came with it. Can someone verify or refute this claim? I've been using Macs since I was introduced to a warm SE/30 in 1989, but I never remember to do this.

    So why would I want to? Well, I just bought an iMac 2014 end provided with Yosemite (10.10), to replace an early 2011 MacBook Pro that came with Snow Leopard (10.6). I am a photographer, and I have three dear old Sony sublimation photo printers that I can run only with a software package that has turned into a pumpkin after 10.6, so I have the updated MBP in place like a machine to dual-boot with a small partition of 10.6 for the software and a large partition of El Capitan (10.11) for most of my work. I want to put in place my new iMac in the same way (of course, the upgrade of its large partition to El Capitan); Otherwise, I will need to keep the MBP as a print server. (Or more likely, press an old iMac 2006 with a screen of bad back in service as a headless print server).

    If it is impossible to start in an old Mac OS, are there emulators that could achieve this goal (which might be better - avoiding a reboot)? Sony has been much better update their printer drivers for Windows and Mac, so I could probably run in Windows under an emulator like Parallels or Bootcamp, but I try to avoid dealing with a completely different environment. (Not to mention the fact that two of my Sonys are SCSI machines I drive with FireWire 400/SCSI converter; not to tell how Windows would treat that ;-))  Of course, this alone probably favour the approach of print server, because I do not know how things do you wear with a double conversion (starting with the new iMac USB3 or Thunderbolt and passing by FireWire SCSI. It's all too complicated...

    In a related issue, if I am successful in 10.6 market in some way on a new Mac, could I also run Rosetta? Snow Leopard is the last Mac OS supported under Rosetta PowerPC applications, and I have a still-good condition, fully licensed Adobe Creative Suite Premium (PowerPC) that I want to continue to run and make so much faster that this old iMac (or even my MBP) will be.

    TIA,

    Ken

    1. use Mac OS X Server 10.6 (phone the Apple Online Store) inside a product such as VirtualBox or Parallels Desktop.

    There is info in the above link to what you are talking about the comments.
    It would seem that install is the bestway out of it.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    Or borrow a good DVD (not Dell, HP, etc.) Vista.
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  For this problem, you will need to contact the PC manufacturer.  If they do not restore disk there probably a restore hard disk partition.  If that's the case then you should be able to access at startup to restore your system if not factory (this will erase all data on the disc normally).  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers
  • I need the Microsoft Windows Vista even if only I don't have registed my Vista came with my laptop
    I bought the SONY VAIO FW21L 3.5 years and along came with it pre installed is Windows Vista Home Premium and I don't know if it is 32 bit or 64 bit. I have behind my laptop sticker indicating the product key and I do not have registed my version of Microsoft's Windows Vista.
    Now that my laptop crashed and I ended up formatting my hard drive, I would like to know if Microsoft could provide a downloadable version of Window Vista Home Premium and I could use my product key to get installed it in my laptop.
    I would like the answer to Microsoft.
    Thank you
    Hello
    It is not Microsoft.
    These are public Forums set up by Microsoft on their servers and animated by them.
    We are mainly Windows users help each other here.
    There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
    You can contact Sony and ask them to send you a set of recovery disc for this model.
    They should do this for a small fee.
    Like you have never had a DVD to reinstall, you'd have a recovery partition on your hard disk to reinstall the operating system from and you should also have her recovery discs...
    But thanks to you, formatting the hard drive, you have probably wiped it clean.
    Ask Sony to support whether if it still exists.
    And contact Sony and ask them what version of bits you had on that.
    They say the serial number on the case.
    Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
    If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
    You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
    Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
    And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
    Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
    "How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
    And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
    And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
    See the documentation that came with your computer for the method that the manufacturer provided to reinstall the factory delivered.  They are required to provide sort and normally it's a partition on the hard disk (several times drive D but sometimes in a hidden partition).  The manufacturer of the computer will also provide a method to create a set of food DVD the computer also.  If you can't find the manual that came with your computer, then you need to access the web site of the manufacturer and find their documentation.  They will also normally have a place where you can buy media if you do not or cannot create our own.
    How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • Uploaded image of Windows 7 Professional will not accept the product key that came with my computer.
    I have a Dell laptop, Studio, approximately 1 year, delivered with Windows 7 Professional installed - the label with the genuine product key is located at the bottom of the laptop. Shortly after I got it I deleted the recovery partition to make room for Linux installed next to Windows. I had problems with Windows system (mainly caused by me bad installation software and drivers without proper backups) so I decided to reinstall Windows. I had already deleted the recovery partition and wouldn't use it anyway because I prefer a clean system without unwanted from the manufacturer in this regard. I did not receive a Windows operating system installation DVD with my computer, so I downloaded a (64-bit Windows 7 Professional, the same as the original operating system) which already had SP1 on it (the version of Win7Pro installed Dell's not SP1). I installed Windows on this drive and attempted to activate using the product key that came with my computer, but it would not accept the key. I don't have time to try to solve this problem, but now the period of one month is up and my computer does not work correctly.
    I suspect that the problem may be due to me using the SP1 disc. If this is the case, should I reinstall Windows again? I have * NOT * GOING to buy another product key when I have already paid for a genuine version of Windows. I just want to be able to use my computer without the ridiculous slowdowns caused by pre-installed software and the way I chose.
    Thanks for any help with this problem, I really need fo fix my computer.
    original title: Activation error, Windows 7 Professional
    Windows product key: *-* - M3DJT - 4J3WC-733WD
    Windows license Type: OEM SLP
    The key to your report is your OEM SLP key which can not be activated. This isn't the key to COA.
    but the key I tried to use is what I copied on the COA the day I got the computer of the book where I put all the information on my computers.
    Is the product key in your book is the partial key in your report?
    You must change the product key to the one on your COA.
    Check your compartment of the COA.
    The other solution is to reinstall your Dell OEM recovery disks or recovery partition. This self will activate your computer.
    Additional information:
    Computers, which are built by large manufacturers provided with pre-installed Windows are supplied with 2 two product keys:
    (A) OEM SLP: this key comes pre-installed in Windows, when it comes to the factory. This key is designed to work with the special instructions isn't on the hardware of this manufacturer. Then, when Windows was installed using the OEM SLP (in factory) Windows 7 key leans on the motherboard and he sees special instructions and activates. (that's why you had no need to turn on your computer after you brought it home)
    (B) COA SLP: it's the product key that you see on the sticker on the side (or at the bottom, [or in the battery compartment]) of your computer. It is a valid product key, but must be used only in certain situations (for example, if the OEM SLP key stops automatic activation for a reason any). The key must be activated by phone. (Note: all manufacturers that use the SLP OEM system are bound by contract to include a certificate of Authenticity sticker (COA), which has a COA SLP key, on the computer)
