G60-125NR of the upgrade from Vista to XP Pro drivers needed

Hello world

Details of portable illustrated signature.

I need to upgrade my Vista to XP Pro laptop. The HP site does not really provide any medium for XP as you can see here, it's just the quick launch buttons and the update of the HP software:

I have the software that is running vista other than the fact that I don't just not like vista used. I managed to get pretty much everything works under XP except for 1 driver missing in the device as Manager indicated below:

Video (VGA Compatible) controller properties > details shows PCI/VEN_10DE & DEV_0845 & SUBSYS_360A103C & REV_A2\4 & 15DBADC5 & 0 & 0058

So what I'm looking for right now. Although it would be nice to have all the correct drrivers for this pc run XP (some of what I have work cannot be what he really need).

What is the new slogan of HP? "Do the PC again" or something like that... lol. Well, I like mine with a side of XP and Linux would take the vista please.

If anyone here knows what I'm looking for the driver? And if anyone knows where all the correct drivers for this laptop (apart from the one to sell them on ebay) it may be easier to post links to them now instead of having to deal with this issue later.

Thanks in advance.

  • The upgrade from Vista to Windows 7: How can I make sure that I keep Microsoft Office

A few months back I took advantage of this offer to upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 for a discounted price. After that I downloaded the upgrade file, Upgrade Advisor told me that because I'm using Vista business and I was upgrade 7, that my computer would probably be home must pass through with a 'clean install', thus wiping my hard drive.

That's fine with me, I could just move my documents and Favorites on an external hard drive. But I'm afraid that the upgrade will be wipe my Microsoft Office programs.

I bought this computer a few years ago. I don't even know if I bought the program with office bundled with it, or if I bought it separately (and probably the discs are somewhere in storage).

How can I make this update without losing Microsoft Office? Is it possible to confirm if my word has come with my computer or if I installed it separately. If it came with it, and I lose it, certainly there must be a free way for me to recover. Right?

Any other advice for someone planning on the upgrade?

    Thank you!

You're the one who knows if you installed Office.

Office (Word, etc.) comes for free with Windows. you have to buy.

If Office is preinstalled, it was a test.

A clean installation will wipe everything.

    You cannot transfer programs.

It needs to be reinstalled from the original media.

  • After the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 games installed in my laptop (Chainz, Cubis and Bejeweled, etc.) have bars on each side when displayed in full screen.

I have a laptop Acer Aspire with a screen 16:9 wide (15.6 "), it has the latest graphic drivers ATI and all operating system updates.  After the upgrade to W7 (free upgrade with the purchase of the laptop) everything works wonderfully except all the games installed now not displayed in full screen, I get black bars on both sides, they used for Vista, but not with W7.

I already tried different settings in the games options, administrator, resolutions screen different, being run in maximized 'Vista' and 'Run' mode of the file properties dialog box shortcut and .exe.  This happened without any security program installed that is not a factor.

    I am at a loss.

This is to maintain the ratio l / h. It is how the images stretch. ATI no longer has the opportunity to play with the proportions for the sort of stuck like that unless you can find in your version of ATI Catalyst. It is in fact full screen as opposed to windowed mode, but it does not cover the entire screen.

You can try different resolutions within the application to see if it will actually make your apps full screen to use the entire screen. That's all, remains to be done. I don't know why ATI has decided to exclude this option because some people hate the black bars or hate the stretched images.

    Hello

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions

If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation

  • Problem of PC keyboard laptop Compaq Presario CQ60-224NR after the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7

I have recently upgraded the OS on my laptop PC Compaq Presario CQ60 224NR Vista Service Pack 2 to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit Service Pack 1.  I updated the drivers before upgrading and checked for the latest drivers after upgrade also.  After the upgrade, the keyboard of the laptop works only partially when I use a web browser.  This includes IE and Firefox.  Above the QWERTY keys do not work correctly.  If I press one of these keys or SHIFT and one of these keys, the last character, symbol, or space I typed before is repeated instead.  Y at - it a fix for this problem?

Well, I searched for several hours and found a solution, at least for me I am a customer of Comcast and I installed constant guard.  There is a key logger that is included in the package that it causes the problem.  I uninstalled GuardedID and my problem disappeared.  I hope it works for you.

  • Error 0 x 80070534 when you try to save the system from Vista to XP Pro

    Hello

File sharing works very well between my computer laptop Vista Business SP2 and my desktop XP Pro SP3 IE. Can I manually read/write files on the desktop from my laptop and vice versa.

I want to implement Vista Backup and Restore Center to create a backup of my Vista files on the desktop computer XP Pro.

Backup and Restore Center, I specify the location of the desktop computer as backup destination:

\\DESKTOPXXX\BackupFolder (I manually tested this place can I read/write files on this site of the laptop.)

After that, Vista invites me for a user name and password for the Office:

Username: MSHOME\Dan (MSHOME is the name shared by two PCs working group)
    Password: xxxx

This is where I get the error:

No mapping between account names and security IDS was done. (0 x 80070534)

    No idea why?

    See you soon,.
    Dan

PS. I use a wireless network.

Okaaaay, it seems I got it work by using the user name "Dan" rather than "MSHOME\Dan".

Maybe it's just a stroke of luck, I'll post here if the problem comes back again.

  • The upgrade from Vista to Windows 7

I'm trying to upgrade my Toshiba Vista laptop to Windows 7 (as a prelude to the Windows 10). The Intel PROset wireless WLAN presence is making it impossible to upgrade complete. Software Intel is in the list of software installed (in programs and features), it does not provide an uninstall option.

The Toshiba PROset uninstall instructions in their Windows 7 upgrade Instructions are vague:

    1. navigate to the location where the component

    a. Intel PROset 32 or Intel PROset 64

    2. double-click on the component to activate the component

    3. click on 'Start' to begin the installation.

4 and further information on installing the software - which is very curious because the software is already installed.

What they speak - which component - where?

I tried to work around this problem by downloading the software Intel PROset 32 from the Intel site and install them, then uninstall, but it had no effect the previously version PROset install so I still have the same problem, I started with.

Can someone help with this?   I have the Toshiba Satellite L305-S5946.

Well, I tried to delete all instances of the registry PROset but that didn't work so I started nose autour in the folder of Toshiba.  I found the magic Installer under C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Comps1\Intel Proset utility (\Manual\B27688A). EXE which is be a demanding free exe to the installation of the Intel Proset utility.  So I installed and uninstalled then (Yes the uninstall option was now available).  So you can see the name of the exe file as it should have been obvious that he was the "element" that Toshiba was talking to in their Windows 7 upgrade description.

But thanks to you all for your support.
