Can someone confirm if these would work? Issue in this page , I found the following information:

    Yavuz, welcome to the forum,

Looking at the specs you should be good to go, but have not personally tested, I can't be 100% sure.

What really works, as I installed it in my T61p is Corsair VS4GSDS800D2 G.

I'm looking to get more RAM for my HP Pavillion G7. I searched spare parts with the number of my product (A7A46UA) and noted that the replacement part would be

Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Here is a picture of my current RAM

    Thank you

It's actually a very specialized type of memory called DDR3L low voltage (1.35 volts).

    It's the same thing:

Model Pavilion dv6t - 3000 CTO Select Edition, Prod #VXO69AV, Intel Core i5 - 450 M (2.4 GHz with 3 MB L3 Cache) with Turbo Boost up to 2.66 GHz, 160 GB Solid State Drive Flash Module, 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 switchable graphics, Windows 7 Ultimate. I currently have the original 6 GB of ram that came on the HP laptop, which includes a stick of 4 GB and 2 GB key.

I want to spend the maximum amount of ram and the ram for maximum performance (speed). Analysis of Crucial.com says I have 6 GB of ram and the maximum ram is 8 GB. He also says that I can buy one (or two) 4 GB DDR3 PC3-12800. CL = 11.    NON ECC unbuffered.     DDR3-1600.   1.35v. here is the link for the crucial scan and recommendations:

Here is a link below for my maintenance SE dv6t and Service Guide, with memory on page 70. The service guide references DDR3 PC3-10600 clocked at 1333 MHz.

    Issues related to the:

The Crucial scan seems to direct me to the memory of better and faster that is listed in the Service Guide. My laptop took advantage of this Crucial memory to operate at faster speeds than the memory, I have now? What latency (CL) cases? I saw sticks to new Egg with CL = 9 instead of this Crucial CL = 11. CL is important? What I have to buy two Crucial 4 GB sticks or I can I keep my original 4 GB stick and add a Crucial 4 GB stick for my 8GB? Is Crucial memory memory low density -something I've read elsewhere that I need? FWIW, a diagnostic analysis of Norton said that my current memory is syncing to 1067 ns.

I have also these two links below for key USB PNY to a Best Buy nearby. The first stick of memory PNY seems to correspond to the Crucial memory card. Is - this low density memory PNY memory? And yet once, can I buy a single stick of 4 GB and add to my current 4 GB stick? This 4 GB PNY stick below which seems to fit the profile of Crucial scan is what I would buy if he tell you it's compatible, because I can buy it at a Best Buy near and easily return it if it does not work:

    http://www.BestBuy.com/site/PNY-1-x-4GB-DDR3-low-voltage-notebook-memory/5745153.p?ID=1219153729590&...

And here is the link to a second best buy PNY 4 GB stick whose plug appear to be closest to the Service of Guide specifications, but this stick may not be low voltage and it has less maximum MHz:

    http://www.BestBuy.com/site/PNY-4GB-DDR3-SDRAM-memory-module/3779273.p?ID=1218431615147&skuId=377927...

Thank you for your help and your recommendations!

Hello.  I'll answer my own questions in the last post above.  Fortunately, HP expert Paul Tikanen resolved my questions in a thread with the following response.  Thank you, Mr. Tikkanen!

"The faster the memory will run in your laptop is at 1066 Mhz, which is the speed of the FSB of the i5 - 450 M.

    processor.

    http://Ark.Intel.com/products/49022/Intel-Core-i5-450M-processor-3M-cache-2_40-GHz?q=%20i5-450M

So, my recommendation would be for you to buy a module of memory 4 GB DDR3 PC3 - 10600 (1333 MHz).

Thus, even the 1333 MHz chip will only work at 1066 MHz.

I had a lot of success with this configuration of brand and the memory chip.

Regardless of the brand you download, make sure he's 8 the little black chips of memory on each side of the Board, not 4.

You are right. Your laptop model can be improved up to 16 GB and you can use the modules of memory 2 x 8 GB with PA5104U-1M8G part number. According to mobile information a slot must be empty, you can add the second 8 GB of RAM.

  • Question about upgrading RAM for a Satellite A110-133

The following ram would work on the laptop mentioned above?

    Kingston KVR533D2S4 / 2 G 2048 mb so-dimm, 200 pin

    Thank you.
    Any input would be appreciated

    Hello

This page might be useful for you:
    http://www.orcalogic.co.UK/ASP/ProdType.asp?ProdType=24868&ft=m&St=3

    You need DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200 - PIN SODIMM barrettes.

But I doubt that the Kingston KVR533D2S4 / 2G 2048 mb would be fine because the A110 can be upgraded up to 2 GB, and in this case, you can only use 2 x 1 GB RAM modules

    Hello

I want to improve my ram... its 512MB now, but not enough, now use 468 MB, I farm programs unused backgorund, always 468 MB to help... I also have virtual memory settings. Using virtual memory, not good at all. On games share memory with graphics as chip RAM you have many know... It will count if I switch 1 GB of RAM to the memory expansion on the rear panel on my laptop? I don't know what RAM to upgrade, works DDR or DDR2? How many MHz? What pin?

I have little time know what is the capacity of my memory expansion module to the back of my laptop?
If I add DDR2 it'll work with other main ram which is under the keyboard area..... ?

Thank you much for now :)

You must use PC2700 DDR - RAM. DDR2 will not work in your notebook.

  • Upgrading RAM for E17 - E5 - 773 G - JA

    Hi guys,.

So I recently bought a new laptop, thinking I'll upgrade them over time as I usually do with my gear. Apparently this isn't the best idea when you want (some?) laptops if you do not do your research. The laptop was offered for $600 instead of the usual $700 - $750, so I couldn't pass it.

The particular problem with this laptop is: it is incredibly slow, thanks to both the standard hard drive and the meager 4 GB RAM... which is a shame, because it has a Core i5-6200U which should be pretty snappy.

If he ends up by I can only improve the reader (it seems accessible, although that stuck in where no normal screwdriver went before) then so that it is, he will still for a large speed boost.

The problem here lies in the fact I already bought the RAM and won't go back until I know that I can't upgrade the laptop myself, or at all - in case the memory is soldered on to 100%.

For those who know what the computer laptop innards look like, when the tank is open until you will see 2 cables in the Middle as suicidal traps if you opened to the top of the enclosure too strong. Black flat cable seems vital and glued in place, so that the white/grey cable seems detachable. My thought is that there is a chance of memory banks being present on the underside of the motherboard... or they are welded, in which case my adventure ends.

Of course I could have bought a laptop computer with more memory or a SSD already mounted in place. The idea was to stick it out 6-12 months, up to the largest size SSD come down in price and choose first update memory. Also my experiences with laptops is that they have a lower lock or the easily removable bottom plating that exposes the reader, the RAM module and a Wi - Fi connection. Lesson learned here.

    Questions:

-The mobile individual has locations for DDR3L 1.35v memory modules or is existing memory soldered in place? I forgot something? So scalable, how can I remove the ribbons, especially the black ribbon, without damaging it?

-Do not remove the back part of the lower shell cell phone? If it isn't, by unscrewing the motherboard will be a fight with tools that I currently have.

-Did someone tried to replace the drive in the laptop and how did you go to this topic with removal of screws? I noticed at least 1 screw on the side that cannot be twisted unless you use some kind of tool to transfer 90 ° twist screw (don't know the name of it)

-Not related to the topic: what would be the cloning tool better to actually clone the original disc work? I have heard some horror stories about the UEFI/BIOS can't see not the clone due to the identifiers of order and whatnot.

    Thank you!

The back of the laptop does not come off. The keyboard/palm rest detaches and the motherboard needs to be removed, because the memory is on the lower side.

An SSD is easier even if you still have to remove the keyboard-based-wrists.

  • Upgrading RAM for Dv6-3206AX? Maximum supported RAM

    Hi all

I am in need to upgrade my memory of's laptop (DV6-3206AX). At the present time it is 4 GB and I thought to upgrade to 16 GB.

The reason for this upgrade is, I work as a developer and use many technologies and software requiring a huge memory tell SharePoint, SQL Server, DMS systems. I tend to play with these technologies on my laptop and of course to learn and build solutions. Now 2013 SharePoint requires more memory, I would need to increase the memory of my laptop.

My concern, I am not sure weather my laptop wouldn't support 16 GB or not? If so, then this high memoery would result in additional heating.

    Configuration of the laptop

    • AMD Phenom II N970 (4 c, 2.20 GHz/4 x 512 KB / 3.6GTs)
    • 4 GB RAM DDR3
