G62-b60SI Notebook PC: inadvertently uninstalled the Intel Control Center on my laptop

On the Web HP Customer Support-software and Driver Downloads page, I downloaded some updates. When I then downloaded and installed the operating system-enhancements and patches updates of system essential to the folder, the action inadvertently uninstalled the Intel Control Center on my laptop.

On a Web site, I have seen that the operating system Windows 7 most of them uses Intel Control Center. In the Web HP G62-b60SI Notebook PC-troubleshooting page, I read that its recommended that you don't need to download from the site to Intel, but rather to the HP Web site itself for performance reasons, it is done. The product number is XU596EA #ACQ, my Version of the Bios/Date: Hewlett Packard F.47, 15/02/2011 and equipped with a processor Intel Pentium can you please help?

Kind regards.

Hello everyone, I received my new T520 yesterday and have been exploring it and acclimatize myself to Windows 7 Pro x 64. I may have a few comments/questions as soon as I get the update system / setup and yet verified. I did take the initiative online yet. For now, I could use some advice WRT correctly my first Oops. Double click inadvertently led to uninstall "Intel Control Center". I don't know exactly what it is, but I'd feel better if I could reinstall it. Everyone here is familiar with it and become familiar with the way by which I can get on my system? Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply and information.

I threw the dice and reran c:\swtools\drivers\amt\me_sw\setup.exe, select the option to also install the Intel Control Center (ICC) Rerunning the non optional steps of the installation process seems no problem (fingers crossed) and I reinstalled CCI.  Indeed, all the ICC did on my system is to provide links button to launch Intel HD graphics and Intel Management and Security Status.  Both are easy to launch without ICC.  Interestingly, the list of applications ICC does not have Intel PROset/Wireless Tools, but it's too easy to launch his own.  So now that I've seen ICC, I can quickly uninstall again .

  • The Catalyst Control Center error message

I had difficulties to show online flash videos so I upgraded my intel graphics card from Intel HD Graphics 3000 on the Intel site. Since then, I get this message:

"The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the version of the driver for your compatible graphics card. Please update your graphics driver from AMD, or activate your card AMD using the display manager. »

I tried to update the graphics card (Radeon HD 7470 M) AMD but it says that is already updated to the latest version and looks like it has been activated. When I clicked on the graphics card I get this message in the device status:

  • WARNING: The Catalyst Control Center is not supported by the version of the graphics adapter driver you activated. If you please update your ATI graphics driver or enable your ATI card using the display manager.

Original title:  Install the new NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 graphics card but now gets error message regarding the necessary to the old card drivers ATI Radeon.

I just bought a new computer from AMD PHenom II quad core Dell Inspiron with Windows 7 installed. For the graphics card, an ATI RAdeon 4200 on it there but I wanted a more powerful card and installed a NVIDIA GeForce GT 240 graphics card. The ATI Radeon is not delete because honestly, I could not recognize what it should look like and thought that maybe it was incorporated. The fine installed NVIDIA card and now shows as the graphics card used by the computer Information System.

My problem is that whenever I start my computer, I get an error message saying that the drivers for the ATI card are not compatible with the Catalyst Control Center. I think I need to disable the ATI card, but don't know how. Can you help me?

Dell Inspiron 570 is a desktop computer, the ATI Radeon 4200 is an integrated graphics card chipset usually equipped with laptops. Something is not here.

Go to dell support, enter your tag # and get the origonal system specifications.

  • Cannot remove the Catalyst Control Center

I want to uninstall my CCC, but unfortunately the CCC Install manager has been uninstalled by mistake.

I can uninstall the CCC with on the Installation Manager, or I can re - install the Manager of the facility on its own to allow me to do the uninstall.

    Hi Nick,

    1. What is the error you received when you try to remove the Catalyst Control Center?

    2. What is the brand and model of the PC?

Catalyst Control Center is ATI so check with the ATI support, their documentation online
and drivers and ask in the Forums of ATI for known issues.

In addition, you can try to reinstall the CCC and then check if you receive an error message.

If you are unable to remove the CCC, and then run the Fixit.

  • UNABLE TO START THE CATALYST CONTROL CENTER

I CAN'T START THE CATALYST CONTROL CENTER

Before I was using vista and everything worked fine, but when I installed win7, I wasn't able to run the program again and as a result, I can not the LCD TV as my second "monitor", or duplicate. Under display settings, there is only my monitor, so I can't change anything. I ve also connected my PC and my TV with an HDMI-HDMI cable, and on vista, I've had no problems, but now he doesn´t detect the cable. I think that's it.

    THX

If in CCC, you go to Desktop & views, then click on detect displays, what happens?

If this does not work I download latest CCC, uninstall the old CCC then install new CCC.

Your monitor not detected needs a specific generic driver instead of PnP? If so, download and install that too.

  • Satellite A100-237: I don't have the Catalyst Control Center after the installation of the driver

    Hello

I use a laptop Satellite A100-237. 1.83 GHz Core Duo, Ati Mobility Radeon X 1600 512 MB Hypermemory, 1.5 GB of RAM DDR2.
My laptop seems to now use only the own 256 MB RAM (own RAM graphics card).
I bought Need for Speed Carbon and installed on my laptop.

When I tried to open the game, a blue screen appeared for less than 1 second and the system rebooted. Windows said it was a critical mistake and a stopped driver Windows XP for work, so the system is restarted.
I searched on the net for this problem, and the people said that when they pilot updated the problem is resolved.

    I downloaded the 8.241 display driver (download file name: display_xp - 8241.zip) Toshiba - Europe.com.
Driver installed, but when installing ATI Catalyst Control Center, at one time installation process continuing collapsed. I had to end the task after a while.
He said that the driver is installed and system must be rebooted.

Now the game works, which is not the problem, but I do not have the Catalyst Control Center. (Where I recently use to connect other screens to my laptop)
How can I solve this problem?

    Sorry for the long letter,
    Thanks for the help.

    Hello

As suggested above, you can try to restart the installation but I guess that you will not be able to install the graphics driver of ATI origin on the manufacturing site.
You can try to use the omega site ot driver drivers Toshiba orginal...

    @aportakal
Anyway, the ATI MOBILITY RADEON X 1600 is not a memory sheared graphics card and this is why this card does not use the part of the main memory. It supports a 256 MB own memory.

  • 11R2 how to change IP in OWB_REPOSITORY_LOCATION and the default control center

We are changing the IP address of the Server repository database OWB. Review of the locations tab, I found the default control center and OWB_REPOSITORY_LOCATION are configured with IP addresses, so I need to change the IP addresses in hostname in both entities. I think that I can not use the OWB_HOME/rtp/sql/UpdateLocation.sql script, so, how do?
I would be grateful if someone points to the other questions I should check OWB point of view.

    Thanks in advance
    Carmen

    Carmen,
Just change the address of WB_RT_SERVICE_NODES control centre.
Don't take any attention to the value of hostname DEFAULT_CONTROL_CENTER in Design Center because this value is taken from the connection details in the window of loging (for display in the Design Center) (if you type in the address IP of Loging window you'll see IP address in the settings of DEFAULT_CONTROL_CENTER without taking into account the actual address stored in the repository OWB).

    Kind regards
    Oleg
