G72-250us: will not perform the system recovery
After completing the formatting and by copying all the files on the three disks that I made, the recovery program sees no bootable device when restarting. The original hard disk drive (320 gb) cooked and I replaced it with a 250 GB ssd. Ant help or explanation would be appreciated.

A few months ago that my HP laptop was very slow, then crashed. I have factory reinstall using disks that I have ordered or purchased from HP. It was a time of recovery the first successful I used the recovery disks and after days of updates of the VICTORY, even was running Win 10, without a hiccup. Then, I received a few messages on the hard disk health and prominent failure. I decided to upgrade the laptop by buying a new battery and a HARD drive. When I tried to use system recovery discs to reinstall Windows 7 to factory State, it failed with an error:
Copy the file fails
From: F: \PRELOAD\BASE11. WIM
TO: C: \RM\IMAGE| COMMODITIES11. WIM
PRESS OK TO RETRY
"" He then reloads the "Windows prepares your computer for first use" MORE AND MORE. Could there be something wrong with the recovery discs?
You can try to see if the problem is with the recovery disks, would be to see if you can perform a new installation of Windows 10.
As you mention that you recently update from Windows 7 to Windows 10, a hardware profile on your machine will be recorded by the activation servers
Therefore, as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after the upgrade to Windows 7, you can simply create the 10 Windows media on another PC and then perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.
Note: On the activation screen, select "I don't have a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

Any ideas on why my Airport Extreme will not recognize the system after the integration of the time Capsule in my system? Continues to have a flashing yellow light after trying all suggestions of technicians from the Apple Store and Internet provider.
Since we don't know all what has been tried, we will have to start from the beginning if you don't mind.
What exact models are your AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule? What is the brand and model of your modem Internet? I'll assume that Extreme is your "main" router and is directly connected to the modem by Ethernet... correct?
Do you have the Time Capsule (TC) connected to the extreme, by wire or wireless? What is your goal for the TC? In other words, will not be used to extend the reach of the extreme wireless?
After many attempts computer will not allow the system restore. Received message is... Unspecified error occurred restoring the system durning
If you use Norton, which could interfere with the restoration of the system.
Disable Norton while doing your system restore.
See you soon.
My satellite 2410-303 will not read my product recovery CD.
When I turned off my pc with the drive in, I get messages saying that the disk is not formatted correctly.
It of weird, is your CD the other disc drive? Have you tried to read your cd of restoration with another computer? If the same error occurs on another computer system, then the cd is probably defective.
Just a question: I guess you want to recover your machine, Don t you?
See you soon

I had to go back to Windows 7 from Windows 10 because I couldn't get wireless adapter to work with a Wi - Fi connection. I was at risk of ending my window a month to roll back. After the Roll Back Windows 7 Gets an error on startup and the blue screen of death flashes. Windows is trying to perform the Startup Repair and fails.
The system, I cannot get Safe Mode. As soon as I push the power button it gives me two choices - launch Startup Repair) 1 or 2) start Windows normally
The repair utility says:

Once I close this window I'm in HP Recovery Manager. It gives me one of the following options:
Microsoft System Restore - there is no restore point
System recovery - it says to restore your computer to out-of-box state
Reduced Image Recovery - having said that to restore your computer to a Windows clean, the software with minimal and drivers
So now I'm dead.
What can be done for me other that start over completely with a cost of Windows 7?
Unfortunately, the Win10 GoBack function is showing himself to be unreliable, because you're not the only one to declare that use it has left their machine unusable - same thing happened to me and I had to restore my laptop HP recovery HP media.
You can try following the steps in the post of recovery HP Win7., but my experience has been that the upgrade of Win10 corrupt recovery by-product information: HP PCs - performing a recovery of system HP (Windows 7) | HP® customer support
If this does not work, you look at using HP recovery media: HP PCs - getting HP discs recovery or a USB HP recovery disc | HP® customer support
I just bought a Split 13 x 2 13-m110dx PC that came with Windows 8. I have upgraded the OS to 8.1 and made a copy of the recovery Partition using a USB flash drive, and deleted the recovery of the PC disk that I learned that I could do. However, when I tried to retrieve OEM provided using the USB flash drive by following the directions at creation and use of a recovery of Microsoft USB drive (Windows 8) "System Recovery" was not available to the title of "troubleshooting." I tried to tell it to boot from the USB, but it askes me to insert the support of windows or other media, but rejects the flash player. What do I do now because I have not all discs?
To use the Flash created to restore the system to the factory settings, see "Recovering from a USB flash drive" appearing in the following link:
HP computers - running a HP System Recovery (Windows 8) HP System Recovery allows to reinstall or restore a HP with Windows 8 computer to the way it was at a previous time.
I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L10, which won't work for some reason any.
The last time that I used it, it worked perfectly fine, but now all I get is a black filtered message on "windows starts do not successfully»
It indicates that the computer is not responding and asked me to choose one of the five options - safe mode, safe mode with network, security mode command, last known configuration, prompt or start windows normally.
There is also a 30 second countdown if I do nothing the portable samekh automatically.
It is, none of these things work.
Everything that happens with any option is to a thought very much time on things, then it goes to a black screen with a time/processing bar downstairs, then when that ends it turns itself off, samekh, mw windows page shows (with f2 and f4/f10? options) and the process is repeated.
He did about 50 times now and still nothing.
I tried the command ctrl/alt/del, I tried to turn if off and try again, I even opened the f options but I don't know enough about computers to do more.
If possible I would like to get the computer on long enough to verify what documents I have on this subject before I can back up (if necessary) and restore it to the factory settings (as I predicted), or if this is not possible, I do not think that there is a lot to lose in this respect in any case, am prepared to take it all back to factory if necessary. I have all necessary installation CD and manuals to go with.
hope this makes sense and I gave you all you need to know.
It seems that the laptop is not able to boot the system, but I m not quite sure if it s because of the defective system or HARD drive corruption.
If it s just a system problem, the installation of the new Windows operating system should help you to get it resolved.
In case the HARD disk is defective, you need to replace the HARD drive and reinstall the system.

I have an error message and cannot play the videos on yahoo and a variety of sites. I click on FF to check the updates, but it gets stuck 'connection with mozilla '. I like FF, but I have no time to solve such problems.
Hello phxpuma, adobe has released a critical fix for a vulnerability in its version of the flash plugin, which is apparently already exploited in the wild. That's why firefox will block the precarious versions which run by default on Web sites for your protection. https://helpx.Adobe.com/security/products/Flash-Player/apsb14-27.html https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/blocked/p794
Please update Adobe Flash Player version 220.127.116.11 as soon as possible, that you can download from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (use the windows exe for plugin-based browsers).
I had a power outage (1 TB) HD material on me about a week ago and replaced by a (500 GB) SSD, not purchased from HP. I then ordered the recovery disc from HP for this particular serial number. Whenever I boot on the recovery discs, I get "this computer does not support the system recovery media. You are not able to restore the system with the media. "The Minsize argument in the instructions to build on the DVD file provides a minimum of 140 GB, so I don't think I have a new smaller drive system is the question.
Last month I have updated the firmware to v80.08, and in the bios "product name", 'SKU number', 'serial number of the chassis' fields are all empty. In "System ID", everythign is empty except UUID and family name.
I think that's why I'm not able to boot to recovery discs?
Any help would be appreciated, I have use this computer for quickbooks and have bee unable to do accounting for a week and a half.
Figured it out! On my Pavilion, you press Ctrl + A in the bios then click on 'System IDs'. Then I was able to type in the ID to build my recovery and support the byte to feature on the sticker under my machine. F10 to save then the recovery media recognized the computer properly and booted up!
Hi all. I'm trying to reformat my laptop (dv6-6c15nr), but when I try to reformat to f11the recovery manager f, all options are such that the system restore and restore to factory is grayed out. The next thing I tried was a set of recovery disks. When I used the recovery disks, it showed the message "this computer does not support the system recovery media. You are not able to restore the system with the media. 0110 A601UA #ABA - A1U60AV. Why can I not reformat my laptop... I remember that I was able to reformat until I sent offshore to get the hard drive and the radiator replaced by hp year last April. Now I can't get to... that this has to do with anything? someone please help...
I also tried without the bios downgrade F.19 REV: a. which do not help either.
It seems that the motherboard may have been changed and the information system (tattoo) has not been updated to match that of your computer. While I can't fix this for you, I can suggest some possible solutions and I work to spare;
(1) you can contact HP Customer Support and ask that they correct the problem.
(2) attempt to control that recovery discs for the model of the motherboard is currently labeled as.
(3) If you can still read the Windows product key of 25 characters on the Microsoft COA affixed on the computer, you can install Windows 7 using this key. Please see "how to install Windows 7 without the disc" to get instructions on how to download Windows 7 SP1, create the installation media and install Windows 7 SP1 using the 25-digit key from the COA Microsoft on your computer.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

I did a system restore by pressing F11 on my laptop HP XP Home pre-loaded. The step has asked told me that by doing a restore via this procedure, my data will not be changed or lost. I did not a destructive restore.
During recovery, I haven't used any password, which could help to access this folder, I am still unable to view this file, I tried to use an administrator in safe mode too, still the same message.
I called HP customer, but after talking with them for an hour, I couldn't find a solution. I called microsoft and they say that they support no more than XP? PLEASE HELP ME. I do not understand when I follow on screen instructions from microsoft themselves, why am I facing this problem? Is it a fault of customers to purchase an original product from microsoft, and then when he has a problem microsoft responds that they cannot help them?
Since I followed all the instructions from microsoft, I'm in trouble, if at any time it would give me a warning that your data won't be accessible or will change, I would have not been made.
PLEASE HELP ME, I NEED AN URGENT DATA. I HAVE A FEW PRESENTATIONS MAJOR IN THE COMING WEEK, AND I DON'T GET.
Most probably, you have just to take ownership of these files. The recovery process has probably created a new user, who does not recognize the system as having access to this folder. To do this follow these steps:
"How appropriate a file or a folder in Windows XP"
had a virus that has taken possession of my PC and wanted the money order to the for free, so I install the recovery disk and chosen in advance and restored the pc at the time, he removed the hold and the system worked very well for a few days. then the system kept to self-extinguish. tried loanding the recovery disc and gave me the message pc not supported by the recovery disc, and now when start received bios award phoenix instead of the hp logo.

I tried to install the recovery disk, and it gave me an error message pc not supported by the system recovery disk. now when I start up instead of the blue screen with HP logo, I get a bios award phoenix and other information that I can't copy down it goes too fast. Since I couldn't get rid of the virus, he took to a pc using store, they have removed the virus and loading of operating system vista, problem is I had the word and excel. Now, I can not get my desktop to factory oem computer. I really need my word that I have all my passwords for the accounts listed, I saved them to analyze the drive, but now I have not any other readers like drive j. Any suggestion on how to solve the problem, so I can load the recovery disc.
Thank you very much
Frenchquarter, welcome to the forum.
I suggest that you download and install OpenOffice. It is FREE and is open to all documents created in MS Office. If it doesn't, at least it costs you nothing to try.
I used OpenOffice for years. Believe me when I say that he will do everything that will make MS Office and in some cases, the better. At least, you will have to use in the future and you'll be amazed to see how they can do it for FREE.
Please click on "BRAVO", if I helped you and click on "Accept as Solution" If your problem is resolved.
