  Otherwise, drive HARD recovery does not work because the boot manager has been changed or damaged as a result of the new install of Win 7 and this is why you cannot load HARD drive recovery.

  You must boot from the disc.
  This means that you will need to insert the disc, have to turn on the device, choose ODD as boot device and this will start the recovery process.

  I lost my Z10 due to water damage and got a Samsung s5. Setting up my BBM is a nightmare, as the issue of recovery does not work. I got the answer to the security question in almost every possible way, and yet it keeps saying that the answer is incorrect. I know 100% that the answer is correct.   @jpmeek would not change your password without your consent the so the only thing I can think of you may have used a different password, or made a mistake when you initially set up your answer to recover.   earlier today, I upgraded my Mac mini (end 2012) to the latest version of macOS Sierra.

  After 1 hour of use, I realized that many of my plugins FCPX were not working.

  I contacted the developers, and they said does not update the plugins and they told me to go back to El Capitan.

  I decided to listen to them and try to downgrade my OS.

  I restarted the Mac and held down Cmd - R or something like that that took me to the disk utility screen.

  Then I went down to dinner, and when I returned 30 minutes later my Mac had entered the sleep mode for some reason any.

  I woke up the Mac and 40 seconds later the power went out for 5-10 minutes.

  I don't know what to do.

  After that I try to win 7 reinstal my HDD recovery (which is located on the d partition). But it does not work: it has been impossible to start recovering in the menu of the bios (F8 key does not work, it was only possible to press F2 or F12).

  So I have to install my dvd 8.0 Win and now I have it and it works. But this is only a clear system without any addons like nero, ms office etc.

  My question is how do reinstal win 7 of my hard drive recovery that I always on the d partition?

  After clean OS installation installation of HARD drive recovery not working anymore. If you want to have the original image of recovery preinstalled on your machine, you must use recovery DVDs.
  I assume that you did not create this disc, right?

  This error message is not known to me, but it seems that the application that has been installed on the recovery CD can not work properly.

  It's not easy to say why it happens maybe dysfunctions of restore CD or you partition the HARD disk is not going.
  I recommend you begin with formatting the entire HARD drive. You must also remove all partitions on HARD drive and then try to use the recovery CD and start the installation.

  I'm trying to fix the laptop of one of my friends, but so far without success. It's a Toshiba Satellite with Vista.

  My laptop could not wake up after hibernation too but I managed to wake up again.

  Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.
