Game game game files titles lack & Up.exe works not

Just one night sevral games disappeared from my game folder. (including those pre-installed as lonely!)

Some games remain - but they are the one linked to my account Steam (i.e.Dow & DoW2) game

I tried the system restore, but games & their files are still "missing".

I tried to insert the discs of both of them, "Freelancer" & "Star Wars Empire at War" - records were recognized but would not recognize by clicking on game start relevant tabs. I was unable to uninstall either - shortcuts note that the original files were moved/no longer exist and in fact the program in the control panl removal tool does not uninstall when he said to do.

I tried to install another game for test-"Deus Ex: Invisible Wars"-now I have problems with this game as a shortcut th does not work and I have to use a patched saved on disc - shortcut but it is a known error and that I beat and used/played for a few years - now - the process of using this patched shortcut does not work and gives the error msg 'conflict with emulator disk software '.

Im not a techie - VEI followed standard tools to find the problms but I just do not have a read where get some more if I'm honest - and this seemed much more than a normal qury 'driver not updated' fo we the techies who have gambling problems.

If anyone can - I'd appreciate it really help or MC.

  • Application (exe) works not properly on XP

    Hello

I was wondering if I could get help or advice.

I'm building an application that my students will be running on portable computers to laboratory. I use Labview 2012 32-bit on windows 7.

The program is a state machine that controls everything simply a signal generator.

When you run the exe on another laptop with windows XP, the sub s VI that disable the generator work very well (outside the while loop). When you run the VI, they don't seem to be send anything, i.e. no response from the generator, while everything else works perfectly.

When runing the exe on the computer I wrote the VI, it works perfectly.

This could be due to windows xp? Does anyone have advice?

I've attached a zip of the file.

You really need to add an error indicator to the façade. Which will tell you a lot. You will also need to provide details of what you have included in the Installer (that is what drivers, time, etc.).

  • Why directories, including "file" (as /fileadmin in TYPO3) work not with Adobe Edge inspect?

TYPO3 uses a directory named fileadmin where all the data of the user (e.g. models) is stored. But as far as I tested it again the word 'file' in a folder name is a problem to inspect the edge. The devices did not react if I choose this folder to my iMac or MacBook. I have this problem locally (via MAMP 2) and standard web server too.
For the moment, I have to use a symbolic link (e.g. fadmin-> fileadmin) to use Edge inspect in my workflow of TYPO3 templating.

    Thank you

    Michael

Disregard that. You are 100% correct. Our regular expression search (and ignoring) file:/// URL is incorrect and is accidentally ignoring any url containing the word "file". Oops. Huge apologies from us, we are surprised that this has not been seen before.

The good news is that it's a simple solution in the Chrome extension and we will be pushing an update to fix this very soon.

    Thanks for the report!

    Hi TomDimitroff,

What version of Windows are you using?

If you run Windows 7 OS (operating system), this game does not work.

If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.

Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

You can also make recovery disk/s since the Partition of recovery in case of hard drive failure or System Crash, when you are in service again.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • GFxUI.exeand IAstorICON.exe does not.

After a restart of my system at home, all Microsoft Office 2010 products will not work. (This system worked without problem for a year) Reboot and commissioning, I get the following in quick succession, "GFxUI.exe works not", "IAstorIcon.exe works not.  I can access Internet, but when I try to access any product Office 2010 the message following if poster, "you won't have permissions to access this item.  Previous messages noted, "To run this application you must first install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework 2.0 50727."

Running Windows 7 on a 4 month old Lenovo.  Run a CHKDSK command and tried to remove Office 2010 and reinstall no result.

I had the same problem. I searched everywhere on the internet for each solution, but couldn't find one that worked. I spent 6 hours trying to figure this point today and finally got.

My problem started when I updated my computer and for some stupid reason, I downloaded this update (that I've been avoiding always) which makes your Internet Explorer crash as soon as you click on something. Pain in my ass. The last time I installed and that update all I did was restore the system fast and installed an update at the same time to know that we have play with my internet.

This time, I installed about 30 updates at the same time. 4 of these updates have been updated in the framework. When I did the system restore for now and restarted my computer, I got the gfxui.exe and iastoricon.exe errors. I couldn't start my CAM software so that's when I went on my 6-hour mission.

How I solved it in the end after trying everything that was on the internet (and I mean everything) was again just re - install updates of the framework (which had been uninstalled with the restoration of the system) and everything worked very well. What a waste of a day.

I hope this helps someone, so they do not need to spend a whole day to solve this error.

I forgot the KB number for updates that SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED but after I reset my computer now I will take a look and post what they are.

    > Edit

The following updates do NOT work on my computer. I'm sure they work for most people, but people with the same problems that I should not install these:

  • accidentally changed my file association for utorrent and now not loading the game and programs and browsers

I accidentally changed something in my computer that shuts down my computer to open all the files, I can't even open the Microsoft Fit it online because when I go to install it, I get a pop up window asking me what program I want to run with, but none of the programs offered in the window will work to open the program file. I remember a couple of days ago I have has download a torrent file and one open pop-up window and asked me what program I wanted to associate this file type, I clicked on the option of utorrent, now none of my games, movies or programs run, when I click on them and try to open them I get the same pop-up box asking what application I want to use to open the program with.

    Hello
What happens, when you try to open any program?
I suggest you try the following methods.
    Method 1:
When you run an .exe on a Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 computer file, the file can start another program
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/950505
    Method 2:
You can restore the system to a system restore point when the computer was working fine.

  • Windows Explorer crashes on Asus after uninstalling the game files.

A couple of days, I uninstalled the games that came with my Asus U36S laptop and after that my Windows Explorer began to crash and restart - and recovery system does not work for some reason any.

At first I thought it was a coincidence, so I tried to understand what could be the problem. I checked the third-party applications, virus, malware, tried clean restarts, restart in safe mode and so on and so forth. But the problem persists.

After all the discussions Forum I could find on the situation through, I finally noticed that someone else had the same problem and solved it in re - install game files (OT here, final note: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-system/windows-7-home-premium-corrupted-file-pintlgbimd/f39e62df-aaf0-4bfd-adbd-cd8e874a5297?page=2).

Now, I'd love to do that too - but I have no idea how to do to get your hands on these game files. I don't have an installation CD (my laptop did not come with a CD-rom) and I don't even remember the names of the games that I uninstalled.

Can someone help me with this? I would be eternally grateful!

PS: I tried to call Asus about this, but they were less than helpful...

A couple of things by looking at the Event Viewer logs.

The ASUSWSShellExt64.dll was originally explore crash like this recently connected recurrent error:

The failed module name: ASUSWSShellExt64.dll, version: 1.1.0.27, time stamp: 0x4c7f631

In addition, Chrome is crashing because of the iDeviceEx.dll like this recently connected recurrent error:

Name of the failing application: chrome.exe, version: 32.0.1700.107, time stamp: 0x52ed6c62
Name of the failed module: iDeviceEx.dll_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4cde567f

The information that you have posted on the grip, the location of the iDeviceEx.dll is as follows:

    LoadedModule [148] =C:\Program Files (x 86) \iMacsoft\iPod to PC Transfer\iDeviceEx.dll

  • Problems of game files

I inserted 2 shortcuts to Web sites in the microsoft game file. (The one with Solitaire, chess etc.)
Neither of their work (they did under Vista)
Now, I can't get rid of the logo! Click right does nothing. I can't seem to move, but they remain locked in the games window. No idea how I can get rid of them?
The other problem I have is that I can't move sets in the order I want. I know that I can reorganize, but why can't I just click on and as I used to move?

  • WTF is Vista by hiding my save game file?

Had to solve problems with a game program by reinstalling.  First of all, I uninstalled the game using "remove a program" and then for good measure, made sure I deleted the remaining game folder and save all the files, including the old folder.  Totally gone now, right?  FAKE!  After reinstallation, I load game, and there are all my old games saved - even if the folder itself under the program is EMPTY.  I think remember the case of something like this a year ago, and that Vista wants to store SOME files somewhere else games entirely for no apparent reason other than to make life miserable.  Could not find any information using Vista - naturallly - so could someone PLEASE remind me where Vista likes to hide these files?  (And, NO, they are NOT in the "saved games" folder under 'users').

There is a perfectly good reason for the system why it does.  If you speak ProgramData and clerks of the records, they exist for a reason.  If they have not all games that assume they can just write anywhere that would break the drive with limited rights.  And it's almost certainly documented.

Because of course Bill Gates wrote to him only from Windows Vista/7. Paul Smith - MVP for Windows desktop experience... I crawled off NNTP - for now. Detachment Aldershot, United Kingdom.
