OK when I run the games for windows marketplace (I installed it and everything is fine) but when I start a Microsoft windows box appears and says that games for windows live has stopped working, now I want to access it in order to purchase and install DLC for arkham city, however if I go on another account on my computer , it works perfectly well I don't know what is happening, I tried to uninstall and reinstall I'v tried to repair and update manually nothing... that I don't understand is why is it working on other accounts, but not mine... not that I have installed the program of

OK, my father and I thought about it. OK, finally solved.

I uninstalled what is called "Windows Live ID Sign - in Assistant", as well as the usual games of .NET, MS for Windows - LIVE and games for Windows Marketplace Client, then ran a registry cleaner (I used CCleaner, which is free) and restarted.

I then reinstalled GWL from MS. site

Unable to download purchased games for Windows Marketplace Client game

I have therefore built a new PC and decided to start to buy and games to test the machine on some PCs. The first one I decided to buy was GTA IV games for windows marketplace. I did, and it appears in my thin, recent purchase history. I click on the link 'Download' and I need to install games for Windows Marketplace client.

I installed without problems and signed in--however whenever I login and click on "Downloads" tab, I'm presented with a red error as follows:

I signed and back in several times now, and the purchase was made about 2-3 hours ago.

So, I downloaded games for Windows Marketplace and I installed it on my computer. When I try to download anything I always get error messige:

«There was an error recover your purchase history.» Please, please disconnect and try again later.

... BUT whenever I have to disconnect and try again, I get the same messige!

I bought a game a few days ago, but cannot sign in to games for windows marketplace. I try to connect using the GOOD live ID and the password that I used when buying this game on the website (it works when signing on my live account on internet and on this forum). A few seconds later, he says:

Cannot install games for windows marketplace, games/install crashing because xlive.dll

I'm having a problem with a bunch of my games crashing because they say xlive.dll is missing. When I try to uninstall and reinstall Games for Windows live using the link online it starts installing and then gives me the error

Error writing to the file: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\xlive.dll. Make sure you have access to the directory.

People said on the forums that games for windows reinstall should solve this problem. Since the XLIV error is the one I am trying to fix I do not understand why the installer would also break due to this file. How can I get rid of these errors?

Games for Windows Live Marketplace/customer refuses to install

Hello there, as the title suggests, games for Windows Live Marketplace/customer refuses to install.

I tried downloaded the file several times, install several times, running through a few things that others have posted, despite my problem is not the same and nothing so far.

What happens is, when you open the customer immediately, without visibly doing anything, stops and says;
