  • Qosmio Q50 - game lag - is - this overheating?

    Hi all

I took a break from playing games for a few months to concentrate on my studies. I started playing them recently yet, but after about 10 minutes, really strong become fans (probably working at their full power) and the game lags insofar as it's unplayable. Fans can calm down and play normally again for another 5 minutes and then the same process occurs.

    The process:
1-> launch game and play for 10 minutes
2-> fans become very strong and the game lags significantly lasting about 1 minutes
3-> fans calm down and the game plays smoothly
4-> after about 5 minutes, that we go back to step 2

I was not used to encounter this problem, and I don't know why I suddenly feel it. My laptop is overheating? Why the lag game when fans are working to there more difficult and not when they work quietly? Would more appropriate that the laptop would go smoother when fans working hard because the system is expected to be cooler?

I could do to fix this?

    Hello

It might be possible that your cooling modules are clogged with dust and debris.
This could happen sometimes. That's why s fans advised to clean the cooling and cooling grids from time to time using a jet of compressed air!

In many cases this work and you help to avoid high temperatures and hard and fast running of cooling modules.

I do from time to time and it really works

  • Satellite A500-026 (PSAR3A-026002) - BLUR game lag and freeze

    Hello

I have problems with my laptop plays blur. He plays the NFS Shift and Dirt2 perfectly fine, and the GPU is capable of games, but when I play Blur, the game lag and freezes, then goes to a black screen, then white and comes back to the game again. This happens repeatedly.

Is there anything else that could cause this except the CPU (the processor is an Intel Core2Duo, clocked at 2.66 GHZ but blurs recommendation is a 3.4 GHz Pentium D)?

    Any help, greatly appreciated,

    Pterry

    null

    Hey Buddy,

It seems that the problem is related to blur the game if other games work properly. Who knows the exact system of it requirements and if your graphics card is supported
Pentium D is a CPU (core) more old, so it should work with your Core2Duo correctly.

Taken graphics card supported by blur?
Have you checked the website of factory for an update or patch?

Generally if you have problems with several games it s advisable to update the display driver and the version of DirectX.

My question is where you can find how much I consume the 4 GB.

And where can I put I consume more or less. Since then, it is a separable memory Yes.

My English is not perfect. hope someone understands.

    Please answer

    Hello

Well, I m wondering why you bought a device with a (inner part of the CPU) graphics chip if you want to use the laptop for games?

The laptop supports the AMD Radeon HD graphics 8400 which is part of the A6-5200 Quad-Core AMD processor.
This GPU is similar to Intel HD GPU, which is also part of Intel processors.

Such graphic internal cards are not really designed for a game of course, you would be able to run and play a game, but don t expect too much

  • Video & game lag on the Qosmio x 770 - 11 c

Basically this problems took place since I have this laptop a few months ago. Flash videos sometimes slow down for a few seconds, with the sound turn lag/robotic-sounding.
This happens once or twice a day.

The same happens also during the game, the game will slow down and the sound will again be all robots. Sometimes, the game will continue to run at less than the usual framerate with distorted sound for a while.

The strange thing is that this never happens during video playback in VLC/WMP etc.
Just in flash video, from youtube to the BBC.

I am under the latest Nvidia drivers & BIOS.
I tried older BIOS and the same thing happens again.
I will now try the 296,190 drivers from nvidia to see if anything changes.

However, this problem is really annoying and I was wondering if there are known solutions, or if anyone knows at least the same problems.

  • Game lag

    Hey guys,.
I got Bioshock to my new windows 7 Asus gaming computer and or a reason any after that I turned on the game and learned to play. The game was lagging like crazy. I looked at all the requirements and was unable to understand why it had been delayed. My computer meets all the requirements except one, it is not a Windows Xp or Vista. My question is if the type of computer can affect the LAG, and if there is anyway to stop this gap and continue happily playing.

    Thank you

    Eren Meyers

Hey, if the game is lagging, this means that one of your drivers, for example, graphics card, cpu or OS etc. don't is not supported or is slower than the minimum requirements, you can test to see if the game works here http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/srtest/ , it will give you summary of what needs to be updated on your computer that is the source of the delay.

just go to the website, click on the arrow down, select this option, Bioshock, then click the "can you run".

My main advice is to upgrade your computer or buy a new and improved

Just downloaded Battle of the Immortals free MMORPG and every 15-20 minutes I have a lag of 1 min where the game slows to an almost unplayable State. First I thought that maybe my internet has strangled so I called my ISP. They ran a few test and said that everything was running at 100%... So next time, I contact the support team technique video games... They had run me a dxdiag and a program to hack... I also ran a tracer on my connection just to show them this is not not my internet... Then, they responded and said "it could be Windows, Windows Firewall, Admin, UAC, network or anti-virus settings you need to change so that they are not blocking or limiting the game." I tried everything until I even contacted them... I watched my CPU usage and prosesses and nothing no longer uses the CPU than normal usage... I have no virus and I just bought this processor so there may not be a hardware malfunction about 2 months... More 5 other online games I play run very well... I also tried setting the game as high priority in windows Task Manager... That which seemed to work for about 6 hours but now my windows task manager keeps reseting back to normal priority. I downloaded a program called Prio which is suppose to set a permanent priority... Well, this program has not completely... I also tried to run the program with the resolution of the problems of compatibility and as an administrator... Without success... I have also all the drivers for all... I have triple checked the drivers... Help, please!

  • HP Pavilion Notebook N5R46UA #A: game lag spikes

I've had this laptop for 7 months now. A few crashes here and there since security_kernal, a couple of other reasons. And I was glad because it doesn't bother me that much. But when my gaming laptop is inable to work when I play a game and causes severe performance problems which should not happen, so I'm frustrated and angry at something that should not happen. I am in possession of a (number of product here) N5R46UA #ABA and I'm tired of what's going on. Example of my problem, I played a plethera of common games that defies material this laptop and have been very well for the majority of my time.

I get in the new Overwatch game recently and have come to really appreciate the gameplay it offers. I did have a problem playing Overwatch until recently however. I noticed that when I play there sometimes a point of massive lag caused by my cpu on slow program. I have the impression that this has something to do with the graphics card, but my guess may be as good as yours. I doubt that this question has nothing to do with the game. I think it has more to do with the material.

It turns out that I was using the charger of my mother for his little computer from Hewlett packard. Problem solved. Please do not respond to one thing (sarcasm).

  • Overheating/game lag, DV7-1270us

    Hello

My problem is with overheating, I have had this laptop for a while, and although I have maintained, it has been much used. I installed a few games, and everything by playing them, it is not uncommon for the laptop to overheat and shut down. The laptop is normally warm enough when it is long periods of time (but doesn't stop generally), the fan works and goes faster when the laptop does many things.

My problem with this is, let's say for example I play GTA IV; This laptop is equipped to play this game, based on the minimum hardware recommended and also recommended (not to mention CPU) so naturally I guess play it's going to be no lag, no problem. This is not the case as for other recent games, Mafia II, Dead Island and others have given me the same problem, market and playing usually gives me good FPS (playable in any case) but after maybe ten minutes, very rude gal starts, I'd get a maximum of 10 fps, if even that, though, I know my system takes care of everything.

    So far, I have

-Open the laptop, cleaned, ensuring no dust is in

-Defragment drive C together, had more than 50 fragments k

-J' use software gamebooster when playing games to ensure without resources is wasted on background programs

-Tweaked my settings 3D geforce nvidia to optimize performance

-Tweaked settings in game, low graphics, etc.

-Update to the latest graphics card drivers

This maybe has me a bit of extra FPS, so you can see my frustrations, I've exhausted all the options that I know, that's why I came here, lag problems seem to be related to the problem of overheating because as I said booting games since a laptop cool, means usually only playable FPS, but shift begins as the laptop heats up and uses 100% cpu power.

My only other thought would replace thermal paste. It's quite painful surgery that I don't want to even try unless I know it will help, is there any other cause that would explain why this is happening?

    My specs are:
CPU: you have: Intel (r) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40 GHz

CP Spee: you: 2.4 GHz Performance rated: 27.048 GH
    R: 4.0
: Windows Vista Home Premium S
    Video card: GeForce 9600 m

300 GB hard drive, 107GB free at the moment, direct x version 11

Any advice would be appreciated. I'm not too concerned if it was just a game, but when it is all relatively new games hanging out like this, despite being up-to-by the conditions.

I wanted to give you an update in case others have the same problem, I think it has something to do with the event, for a 17 "screen, I think he should have more than one event, but I just used some compressed air, he emptied, the fan stopped after that, probably dust obstructed his path , so I forced to spin, and I tested it all it's - GTA IV, functioning during two hours of play, computer laptop only @ 21ºC

Probalem was, before hand I've never smelled of air coming out the vents, didn't think much, but the different is now noticeable, the vent for the fan's cool after hours (laptop is eleveated so) and the wind is blowing hot air. Everything seems to be in order

    Thank you.

  • Games lagging

Hello, I just bought a laptop hp dv7-4174 you can check on future shop and I played a game downloaded from the internet and it's lag when I play call of duty black ops. all ideas

    Hello

    Method 1.
    Change hardware acceleration
You can try to change the hardware acceleration in the middle and check (you can try another level too.)
    a. right click on a space empty on the desktop.
    b. go to the resolution of the screen.
    c. click Advanced settings , and then click the Troubleshootingtab.
    d. set the hardware acceleration in the middle. (You can find this option only if the video card supports).

    Method 2.
    a. I suspect that a third-party application is in conflict. Configure the computer to clean the start state, and then check if it solves the problem. In this way, we can use the approach 50 / 50 to find contradictory application the cause.
See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state. How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

    b. in addition to the above, you can also update the video card drivers.
For more information see the links below:
Updated a hardware driver that is not working properly

  • Dragging my updated firefox to update to the latest version and now the game I play which is a flash based game lag all the time in firefox, but not in Internet Explorer

OK so I play a game called Emporea on my PC and it uses flash, I've never had a problem then I refreshed firefox as she suggested and it updated to the latest version, I've never had problems with it before on previous versions and now, with this, the lag is so bad that it makes the game almost unplayable. I tried to open it in other browsers such as IE, and it works very well in people. so, the question is somewhere with firefox, I've updated my flash drive and still no change in firefox

One of the changes in Firefox 48-49 title is e10s, separating the process of browser interface process page content. The performance impact of this can vary a lot between the systems, and it would be useful to know if you have this feature enabled. To check this, either:

    • button '3-bar' menu > '? ' button > Troubleshooting Information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

In the first table on the page, find the line of Multiprocess Windows and see if the number on the left side of the fraction is greater than zero. If so, you are using e10s.

    If you use e10s:

To determine if this feature is causing this problem, you can turn off as follows:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press enter/return. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste the cars and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 to switch the value from true to false

Note: the exact name of this preference may vary, but it will start by Browser.Tabs.Remote.AutoStart

On your next startup of Firefox, it must be run in the traditional way. Any difference?
