It's on my list of Firefox plugins. When I go to download from my device, Garmin Connect said that the Garmin Communicator plugin is not installed and asks me to download it. I try to download and Garmin Connect says that it is already installed. It is installed and works very well with Explorer, and Chrome. Firefox only said that it is not installed. He used to work very well with all previous versions of Firefox. Does not work now and none of the troubleshooting patches work. Please notify. Thank you.

• Garmin Communicator does not

  Since yesterday, Firefox seems unable to carry the Garmin Communicator plug.

  When you try to download from my Garmin, I get the message "Garmin Communicator Plugin is not found on your computer" and a link to download. I did it now at least a dozen times and Cap shows as being installed in my Firefox Plug-Ins and Extensions, but Firefox does not semto want to find it and run it.

  I use this plug in for at least the past 2 years without any problem and it still works OK in Chrome which leads me to suspect that it is a matter of Firefox.

  Today, I was forced to use Chrome although I prefer Firefox, however, as the ability to download extends from my watch is vital for me, if it is not sorted I'll migrate to Chrome.

  Any suggestions please?

• Communication between plugin and AcroJS

  (1) me and my colleagues are trying to communicate between a plug-in and script objects.

  We have decided to do so through PDField. After the hard work and attempts, we have created

  a field via the plugin and the value of the field can be seen the the AcroJS

  calls. The problem is that the AcroJS is unable to set the value. Why?

  (2) is it necessary to remove the object from PDField once it is no longer necessary.

  We don't care if it is updated in the document, but want to know if

  cleaning and setting/free to use API calls.

  A PDField is an interesting approach, but not recommended for many reasons - the XFA is just a case of edge question.

  The best solution (since it is not dirty the document and allows the richest data storage) is to use a global variable in JavaScript.

  Second best would be to use metadata to the document level.

  And there are several other methods as the data in JavaScript object.

• Why goolgeearth does not work with Chrome and Safari but not Firefox

  When in firefox using Google maps and click on "EARTH", I get a window indicating that, to use the 3D, I have to install 21.0 Google Earth plugin with option click on 'Download '. Note: Firefox 21.0 and MAC OS 10.7.5 have all current software updates installed. Safari and Chrome are asking not for any plug-ins and 3D Earth option works very well. ANY HELP?

  PS my MAC has an Intel HD Graphics 3000 installed, but my MAC, Safari, and Chrome work fine.

  Google Earth requires a graphic that comes pre-installed with Chrome and Safari plug-in. If Google Earth works on other browsers, install the Firefox plug-in is the solution. To install this on Firefox, download it from the prompt window, or go to https://www.google.com/earth/explore/products/plugin.html.

• How can I download the plugins and make them work

  I found a great and free with several plugin.  First, I tried to download one of the free plugins for Adobe C6.  Following all the instructions.  Then open them Adobe photoshop I opened a picture and went to change == plugins == and see listed that I had just installed, so I choose what it and said ok. is nothing happned.  So, how do you use plugins?  Can someone help me please?

  The plugin is called redfield Fractalius and I saw it on a video from Adobe for PS6 == I managed to install one of their free plugins, but when I installed the Fractalius demo he just went to his destination file, but will not do anything else == I'm new to all this, but will go back and try to review question forum.

  If the plug-in is indeed suitable for use in Photoshop CS6 you can ask the plugin creator/s said.

  As you have not revealed which plugin you are talking about, nor what are your OS and hardware etc, it seems unlikely that you can expect a lot of relevant help here.

• Finder and Safari unresponsive

  I just downloaded and installed Mac OS Sierra and now Finder and Safari do not react.  I force quit Safari and relaunch the Finder but no different.  All other apps seem to work normally.

  Back up your Mac if you have not already done so. Read https://www.apple.com/support/backup/to learn how to do this please. The reason for creating a backup, it's that the symptoms you describe pourrait be a sign of an imminent hard drive failure, data security is a major concern.

  Then, shut down your Mac and restart in 'Safe Mode '. To learn how to do it please read: try safe mode if your Mac does not start-up. Compare works your Mac in Mode for how safe it was.

  Then restart normally. If the same problem comes back, please read the section If a problem does not occur in safe mode for actions recommended to Apple.

  Finally, you can temporarily create a new user account and log into this account to determine if the problem also exists when connected to this account. To learn how to read How to test a question to another user on your Mac account. When you are finished troubleshooting, you can remove the temporary user account by following these instructions: macOS Sierra: remove a user or a group. Before you delete, confirm that you have not need of all the files that you have possibly set in this account.

  After update of mozilla firefox and come here to help another user pointed out that I had several Flash plugins below. Before updating, I was updating from mozilla firefox and Adobe. Of course, things were NOT up-to-date. I managed to delete the obsolete Flash and Adobe Flash Player plugins. I just want to know what that "more" updated the plugin and the player are while I know that I have the last and am new. I do the last firefox update now and I use Windows 7. Thank you! You people here are the best!

  Note that your system details list shows several Flash plugins.

  The plugin for Firefox is called Shockwave Flash and the latest version is 17.0.0.188

  When it installs, Flash by default to update automatically, but if you need to manually update, you can use one of these pages:

  • https://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/ (uncheck all the unwanted extras)
  • https://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html (one for the browsers 'plugin')

When I designed the site in RapidWeaver 5, I put the titles in italics. But Firefox won't show titles in italics, although Chrome and Safari. I am running OSX 10.7 on a 2009 Macbook Pro (version 33.0.3 of Firefox). You have an idea how I can fix? RapidWeaver tech guys say that there is nothing wrong with my code.

  The new version of the style.css has the "reset style" I mentioned that disables the tag 'em to appear in italics.

  There has been an evolution where Firefox search plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is scanned is more plugins, so Firefox will find them more if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the folder 'browser\plugins', which analyses the Firefox now.

  You can set the pref plugins.load_appdir_plugins true on the subject: config page to parse the directory '< install > /plugins/' for plugins like the WMP plugin (np - mswmp.dll) Firefox.

• Problems with mail and Safari re Adobe Flash

  I have a MacPro retinal mid 2012 and spin Yosemite 10.10.5.  Two or three days I had a popup on Safari re Adobe Flash is more [work] when I was in the middle of something. I just was I there to make it out of the way. There is an installation of Adobe Flash Player in my utility file manager, but nothing else. Since then, I've been doing almost no mail - usually get account notices and information bulletins, etc. - and Safari does not display a game that I play often. Opens its site, but the game is not. Checked preferences; they look correct. A ran DiskUtility check / repair. Two points related to the Safari have not been repaired after three attempts. Also, ran two Virus checkers. 9.1.1 Safari and Mail 8.2. There is no message re updated or on Flash - of course, I can't receive them. Anyone know if it is related to Google and what should I do about it? Help please.

  Video files appear OK in IE8 and IE9 and Chrome on PC and Safari and Chrome on Mac. I don't see why it wouldn't display on Firefox in Mac or PC format.

  For Firefox, you must specify the file name in an attribute in the object tag.

• I can not open emails in Hotmail even though I disabled all the plugins and modules.

  Since this morning, I can't open the emails in Hotmail, or open any folders therin. I deactivated all my plugins and modules that actually no difference. To the best of my knowledge, no updates were made to Firefox on my PC yesterday.

  Thank you for that. I managed to solve the problem of resetting Firefox, who presumably had the same effect as your solution by deleting the cookies etc.
