  • Documentation of Omni 27-1010t of HDMI port

I can't find any documentation to the HDMI port on my 27-1010t Omni.  She's taken input HDMI or HDMI-out?  Can I use it to connect a second monitor?  And what are the other 4 buttons near this port for (on the right side, under the DVD drive)?  They seem to be disabled.

    Here are the specifications and factory configurable options for your desktop HP Omni 27-1010t CTO. According to the specification, this model has an option to add a "input jack scalar HDMI card for Game Console." Please, Chapter 3, page 6, "Implementation of additional features", 'Using the controls (some models only) HDMI port' of the "quick Seup Guide" for your computer, which States;

  • Find the update of Bios for Omni 27-1007 ev

    Hello

I'm about to upgrade my Omni to Win 8 Greek model and it is suggested that updating the BIOS first.

Problem is when I search English support pages for model HP 'ev' it returns a model not found error. When I select Ellada (Greece) as the site of research and the translation of the page, no software-driver-support links works. If I don't translate the page and then there is strangely no connection with the software and drivers, only announcements of new hardware, etc. I can read Greek, so it's not like I can't find the translated text.

Can someone tell me the latest BIOS for this model or provide a direct link to the info/downlaod BIOS page.

    Hello:

Unless someone actually installed one in this model, it is difficult to say with certainty at 100%.

However, based on the specifications of the PC should be, because the specifications state that the PC has a P/S 460W.

Just check to make sure that food has two connectors 6-pin PCI Express (PCIe), because it is a requirement for the card.

  • WebGL doesn't work do not

I noticed recently that WebGL does more for me in Firefox, even though she has worked in the past. I am currently in Firefox 14.0a1 nightly on Window 7 64-bit (although I also tried in FF11). When I opened up on: supports, he says 'Blocked for your graphics because of unresolved issues. pilot', even if I have the latest driver for my NVIDIA GeForce GT 540 M GPU. Also I have not touched anything related to WebGL in topic: config.

I heard that Firefox doesn't play well with Optimus. Would it be possible, perhaps? Should I update my graphic driver Intel?

I can't for the life of find me a way to force the output via HDMI or VGA card NVIDIA F750, it will use the Intel card (I don't have glasses free 3D model).

I have all the latest drivers for the TH2G/DH2G and list of the NVIDIA card program as well as the addition of all .exe files used by the program for the NVIDIA Matrox manage 3D settings.

I also contacted Matrox, they have no help at all and who has just said that it was the phone :/

    Hello

As far as I know, you cannot disable the GPU from Intel but you can choose what application to use a graphics card.
You said that the laptop supports the NVIDIA GeForce GT 540 M and this graphics card supports Optimus technology

This can be done in the nvidia Control Panel.

    1. click on start and then Control Panel. Select Classic view in the left side of the window.
    2. double-click on the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    3. click view, and then add the "Run with graphic processor" Option to the context Menu. Close the NVIDIA Control Panel.
    4. right click on the title of the application and select run with GPU. Then, click on NVIDIA processor high performance.

  • Issue of frame rates graph game on Satellite P750

    Hi guys,.

I need a second or third opinion on a question ive been seen with my new lappy. Its a Toshiba laptop with an Intel Corei7 2.2 GHz, 6 GB of RAM and a Nvidia Geforce GT 540 M graphics running 64-bit windows 7.

So, I drop in a game (splinter cell double agent), running on the resolution of 1366 x 768 (native resolution) and graphic options determined by the game. It works fine without any problem rate framework until after a minute or two when the screen starts glitching and popping (much like my xbox made before the death of the graphics unit) accompanied by a temporary freeze on about 10 seconds, which makes the game unplayable.

I thought that perhaps this meant the laptop could not handle the graphics, but I retried with the resolution to 640 x 480 and the graphics to a minimum, to my great surprise it went well again for a minute or two before bursting and glitching and again with the gel (although it seems a little worse with graphics high).

So I thought well, maybe my laptop is overheating?
I stalled upward on one of these trays to cool cookies on and aiming a desk home fan. but the problem persists.

    My directX drivers? updated.
    Video card drivers? Nope.
Shut down unnecessary background processes? did not help.
Increase virtual memory limit? its about 30 GB already.
Change your options from nvidia? all together for the performance
Change your power settings? all together for maximum performance

Is it because it is a 32-bit game? Perhaps, but it works smoothly at first. Also, half-life 2 has the same problem and im told it is 64-bit.

    I'm out of ideas

If the unit could just handle it I would have thought that I would have to rate shows constant frame from the first second. Its a shame because for that it runs smooth its all simply amazing.

Any help would be appreciated, sorry for the long post.
Should I get from my dealer, or is it just a reality?

    Thanks in advance,

    Phil.

    Hi Phil

Can you tell us what model of Toshiba you have anyway?
Are you using the original OS that you got with your laptop?

If you use the laptop for all activities of the day is everything is OK? Have you noticed this problem all in game only?
Have you tested the graphics performance with some older games?

On the NVIDIA site, in the section "Download the Drivers", the current version of the driver installed in my computer after completing a sweep, is 267.44. There is a new driver available for NVIDIA GeForce GT 540 M 275.33.

I'm not sure if this wil solve my problem. I also hesitate if I need to contact support for drivers certified for my laptop Toshiba. The P750 / 02Q is a recent model of liberation and I find very little support on the mytoshiba site.

  • Satellite P750 - Dragon Age II breaks down

Hey I looked all over the Internet for similar problems, but I can't seem to fix it on my pc. I have a nVidia GeForce GT 540 M 2 GB graphics card and I ve just installed the latest version of nVidia 275.33 drivers. My computer is a Satellite P750, Intel Core i7 2630 QM CPU @ 2.00 GHz, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 64 bit

I can load Dragon age II, but it blocks a few minutes into it. Sometimes it freezes and can hear the music but crash screen usually just black. Even with Battlefield Bad Company, it loads boot but hangs at the start of campaign. Almost none of my games work and it must be something to do with the graphics.

I tried all the graphics settings in dragon age 2 don t help I have x 11 installed live. If anyone can help or has any ideas please let me know!

    See you soon

    Hi Uncochicken,

I think that Akuma is good and the problem seems to be the nVidia display driver because it s not pre-tested on your laptop and doesn t have an overheating protection. I advise to use the latest Toshiba display driver.

So uninstall the current display driver (Control Panel > uninstall) and uninstall the nVidia display driver. Now, reboot your system and install the latest version of the Toshiba display driver. Even after restart your computer, and the new display driver is installed correctly.

What model of Satellite P750 you have exactly?

  • Satellite A660 - 1 H 5 and crack chips Sandy

    Hello

I'm new to this forum. I recently bought a 1 H 5 A660. The thing within a week of purchase that I start to get this blue screen when I turn on the computer. It is about 50% of the time. Then I went to the shop where I buy the machine and discovered that there is a recall of the product because of the fault of sandy bridge.

«Toshiba also recalled its models of series A660 Satellite L655, A665 and M645, the Satellite E305 S1990, select computers laptop Toshiba Portege R835, some systems of the Qosmio X 505 and the Qosmio X 500 series - model Q930.»

The thing is I can't find my product even on the toshiba site. I can find 1 h 7, 1:6, but not 1 h 5. I want to know is there anyone with the same situation as me. And I want to know is the same laptop with the same specification will be released in April when intel ships fixed chips?

And the thing I don't understand is, according to the news:

"The Cougar Point flaw affects only SATA Intel controlled 3 Gbps ports - 6 GB/s ports are fully operational." PC manufacturers who only make use of the 6 Gb/s ports are therefore encouraged to continue anyway.

"* If you are a manufacturer of laptop, you will find laptops which is enough for a hard drive and DVD drive, two ports SATA [6 Gb/s]", said a spokesperson for Intel Pro PC *. "In these cases, it is perfectly OK to use the B2 walk."

Also, surely, it should not cause a problem on my laptop? Even if it does, not after a week of purchase?

I have that really the new laptop and I really want to get a strong response from the official toshiba representative exactly what the problem with my computer before you return it for a refund.

    Hello

My cousin bought one of these new A660 with the Sandy Bridge chipset and it works perfectly fine.
Apparently it takes months or even years for the SATA ports to start to fail, he decided to keep this A660 for now, until new motherboards are available.

We discovered that only the external SATA (eSATA) port is assigned.
The HARD drive is not on a port.
The optical drive is on a port, but optical drives do not require a high bandwidth so it is not affected.

So basically, you have the option to return the laptop rather than buy or keep it for the time, and then send it to an ASP when new mothers are available.
