Generator of DPS App for Android devices

Hello! I'm doing a new smartphone app, and I followed this link:

http://helpx.Adobe.com/Digital-Publishing-Suite/help/building-Android-apps.html

I put each certificate and do all steps successfully!

What should I do after that?

I have just a tablet on Google app account to play...

There are other measures to show the app on Smartphone playstore? because I don't see the app...

Thank you very much

Staff TKART

Applications created by the web application Builder run on tablets and smartphones all the time. There is no "single tablet" or "smartphone" version. If you download this new .apk on Google instead of your current game it will replace the one there.

Note that our native Android application supports only Android 4.0.3 and later. If your Smartphone is running an older version of Android so it won't appear in the store of Google play list when you search for it.

  • Do DPS apps for Android

We account aPro and now plan to publish our multi-folio subscription Android Marketplace application. My question is really about what Android devices, should we focus on?

Now my idea would be to focus on the KindleFire 7 "(1280 x 800) and the Google Nexus 7". I feel as if it were a good first step to design and produce.

Should we consider also the larger machines? or is the sweet spot really tablets 7 "?

I would like to hear from others.

In ADDITION, it is true that Google game limits your applications 50 Meg?

    Tom

This really depends on your goals, but for me, build an interpretation 1205 x 800 got my app on the largest number of Android devices. The compromise is that on full devices setting, you get off minor black space at the bottom of the screen, but this means that you only have to build once to get the same rendering of the Kindle fire HD and the Nexus 7 as well as many devices 10 ". And even with the 1920 x 1200 screens (like on the Kindle Fire HD 8.9, your product will be readable, letter just canned.)

1205 x 800 annoys me on all the devices I have users on (of course, not many people is reading via Android devices) without having to build four or five different renditions.

And Yes, the apps are limited to 50 MB, BUT that does not count in-app purchases. Your problems are not limited to 50 MB.

  • Installation of app for android device problem

    Hello

I can't seem to understand what I can do in the last two days, but no matter what I can not install one of my apps to my phones android or tablet devices like flash professional cs5.5 keeps throwing me the following error:

"Impossible to install the application. More than one device is connected"

This is clearly not true, but sometimes my imac and my macbook pro gives me the same error.

I've been using flash pro cs5.5 for about a year now and I have an application on google game store so I'm used to test on my mobile, but for the life of me, I can't solve this problem and I hope that one of you guys

    can help me solve?

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.

It's old, but I found the solution at the moment.

If your output file name is different from your FLA file name, you will get this error. Make sure that they are the same.

  • DPS Viewer for Android mobiles

Since the launch of our publication on the IPAD and the IPhone, we received many requests from customers to launch the publication on android devices.

After an investigation, most of the requests come from people with Samsung S2, S3 Samsung, Sumsung Note and Nexus 4 devices.

I did a lot of research in the best way to publish on mobile android forum, but everything I found was complicated workarounds that doesn't seem to work properly.

I would like to know what is the best way to target devices from my "renditions" ipad/iphone current. With the growing popoularity of android mobiles, this is becmoing more pressing than ever before.

Would really appriciate a direction, thanks

  • banner app for android

I am trying to create an app for android using dps app builder and in the middle of the process, he asked for a URL banner I have and everything seems to work, but later when I try to test the application in tablets, the banner just gets in a fix size specific tablet and I need to work in several tablets.

I was wondering if I am supposed to place a different for each device resolution, although there is an option to load in the App Designer.

I really appreciate your help, I tried to solve this problem throughout the week.

Here is a sample banner that works well on different devices. You should be able to customize.

An impact if not set: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files must be encoded in UTF-8 form with a corresponding order of byte (BOM) mark in order to benefit from the bytecode caching and avoid other runtime error conditions.

How to fix: open the file and select "save under...". "option in the file menu of Visual Studio. Select the drop-down list next to the button control record and select the option "save with encoding...". ». The Advanced Save dialog options, select "Unicode (UTF-8 with signature)" option and click the OK button.

How can I go about fixing this? I don't know where these files reside indeed like all I submit is an APPXBUNDLE file.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rhome,

It looks like that you use a custom window in your Windows application and custom store files are not encoded properly. You must use a text editor to re - register all your showcase custom files so that they are UTF - 8 with the byte order mark. Then repackage the files customized storefront in a zip, re - download App Builder and submit your application.

One publisher who can do that is to notepad ++. When you change the file go to menu "encode in UTF - 8" encoding, and then select Save file. You will need to do this for each folder in your custom storefront.

  • When flash player will be available for Android devices.

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab 4 10.1 and I was wondering when will flash player be available for Android devices.

Dolphin requires side-loading a very old version of Flash Player, which has had no updates to safety over the years.

There are some browser alternatives that actually running Flash Player on remote servers in the cloud and share new content to your phone.  These solutions will give the latest version of Flash Player and do not leave your mobile device vulnerable to malware.

This is a browser that I'm aware of that's it right now:

Puffin Web browser - the fastest mobile browser with Flash support on cloud on iPad, iPhone and Android.

  • Even multi-app for Android?

    Hello everyone,

I read a topic where it was written that if I develop an application for Android, the only way is a multi - app. But this subject date of 2011. (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3928277#3928277)

Is it always the same? Or with the new creative cloud I can build a single app for Android, too?

Thank you very much for your answer.

    Enrico

No, there are only several questions for Android. It is expected, however, that they are far away so don't expect not to come any time soon.
