• I have a problem with finding a PnP USB audio device when you search for available audio devices.

  I am building an application that can find a PnP USB audio device and play a tone if the device is connected. I am able to search audio devices using "Sound Device Info.vi" of the lvsound2.llb that comes with labview.

  The vi can find the USB device in good conditions, but there are problems - I'll try to describe 2 scenarios.

  1. the USB device is connected before 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  In this case, the program can find the USB device. If I unplug it, the device disappears from the list of found audio devices. If I reconnect to the same USB port, it reappears in the list. It's all good.

  If I reconnect it however a new USB port, the device is not found. This is not good.

  2. the USB devices is not connected when 'Sound Device Info.vi' is called for the first time.

  "Sound Device Info.vi" is not able to find the device. Disconnect and reconnect does not make a difference.

  I'm under labview 2012 on windows 7.

  I am running the application as an exe to build.

  I call 'Sound Device Info.vi' as a 'call for reference"and the reference is closed between calls to the vi. I was hoping this would unload the dll used in "Sound Device Info.vi" and would solve the problem, but it didn't.

  Is there a way to reset the information usb labview during execution?

  The sounds screws require a DLL located in:

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\resource\lvsound2.dll

  Internally, LabVIEW uses the DirectX API to enumerate devices. The one caveat is that probe us for devices when loading the DLL. We probe not later. So that it works for Bluetooth, USB, fire wire, etc. devices that can be inserted or removed at any time, you control somehow when this DLL charge and discharge.   Let's start first of all, make sure you have software in place just in case you need more later.

  If they are the same exact drivers, it is possible that they have been installed twice, but the biggest problem is how much of usb devices you have connected?

  You can check and see when they have been installed in the properties for each driver.

• No audio, device drivers by default, NUTHIN!

  I recently released image my computer and reinstalled XP (for cause of virus of course). I have ALL the updates, SP3, all. I have everything I need to go except the sound of course. In Device Manager, I have a small list of the? / ! pilots who need fixin', one of them being something called "Audio Device on High Definition Bus" Audio. I guess that's the device that is supposed to produce a sound. However, there is ANOTHER category called "sound, video and game controllers" that some sites have said should hold my camera, but it doesn't. It was just a bunch of generic names which do not mean _ such as "Legacy Audio Drivers. Before that I provided in my computer image, my audio device was called "SoundMax HD audio".

  I downloaded different drivers for Microsoft Universal Audio HD 63 287 about whatever and Realtek blah blah stuff ' do stuff, but none of them works.

  YES! It turns out that the answer was right under my nose. I had downloaded a "Audio fix" Lenovo a couple of times, you sure it was the right answer. turns out that I was not to install it, just unzip the file, even if it SEEMED that I was installing it.

  I bought "toneport ux2 line6" and it does not work with my computer laptop (dual core 1, 73GHz, 1 GB ram, Windows Vista).

  In my opinion, you must be sure your laptop running fine and according to your assignment I do not here no problem.

  So in your case you have problem with some additional equipment or third party software. Am I wrong? If there is a problem I see no reason to seek the solution with Toshiba. You should contact the manufacturers of all the devices and software that you use. They should have enough experience with own products and they should offer good support in troubleshooting.

  I have a problem on a customers that all system drivers are installed but the audio does not work - all I get is 'no Audio device '.  Unfortunately, I already tried all the registry editing that I found on other sites and also uninstall and reinstall drivers including the enumerator of the software Plug-And-Play and various other hidden devices, etc.  Also tried the trick machine.inf but that did not work or the other.

  PPS. More news happy. While previously download & install a driver updated for my sound card had no effect, it is:

  a] uninstall the sound card. Reset.

  [b] the computer will find the sound card and reinstall it.

  [c] download the same (in this case) driver updated and re - install.

I go to the tab drivers and software, select the correct printer, and brings it to the top of the page where it is supposed to compile the list of drivers. The page says "HP is compile your results." • After a breakaway of electric failure does not start, or I can boot from the cd that the drivers won't load

  I get the logo and the system beep.  Seems to hang for about 2 minutes then tricking black screen reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.  When I insert the dvd-rom supplied with the pc recovery, it takes about 4 minutes for so-called load windows and off to install windows for me.  No matter what I select, I'm only able to download the drivers that may be defective and then find and I can retry or cancel.  If I try again once I get the same cycle but I can't get into windows, nor can I access any of the disk recovery tools.  I can't enter the Bios or any other file.  I tried power market and stop and start cold without result.  The pc was in hibernation because of non-use, but had been shut down when the crash occurred.  It is on a surge protector.  I could really use some help and appreciate suggestions - I'm a little computer but certainly not a tech guru.   Thanks for any help.

  I tried all the tips on the net and this forum of drivers Ralink drivers to Linksysy nothing works I am confused and upset to say the least. My router is configured on my new build GAX58A-UD7 Mobo running Windows 7 Pro, without any problem. I bought a Sabrent PCI adapter that wouldn't work, and I'm back. Second, I bought an adapter PCI Dlink which had the same result and was returned. Thirdly, I bought the Linksys WUS600N, thinking it might be a FirmWare conflict or Hardware between manufacturers, but I still have problems with this unit as well. My last computer generation was less painful than the implementation of network with this router and adapter.

  The second PC I am trying network in is a Dell XPS 400/9150, run the latest version of the BIOS, firmware, and hardware updates from Dell and always available no chance. I even went up to do a fresh install of windows and still no luck. I have the latest drivers sitting on my desktop and I can't update the driver via automatic update Pc or currency manager why that is I don't know.
