• Contacts missing after Apple Watch 3.0 app update

  I just updated my Apple Watch to 3.0, and the Contacts app disappeared.  It shows on my iPhone, but not in the small icons on the watch and Siri on the watch says that I don't have a Contacts app.  Messages on my watch are coming through, but as numbers instead of names.  I tried a hard reset of the watch with no luck.  Any ideas?

  Under watch OS 3, the friends feature (which was available in previous versions) comes over and there is no direct replacement for it.

• Missing com.apple.Safari.plist

  I have a problem in this Version of Safari 9.0.3 (11601.4.4) - I can't type a search or url in the address bar URL Safari. Can see the cursor, but it did not allow me to type in the box.

  SE to move/reset the com.apple.Safari.plist and I am unable to find in Library/preferences.

  This on a 2011 of Macbook Air. El Capitan, 10.11.3 version (15 d 21). Update for this.

  This seems to have been just after the update this morning (for me) of Mac OS X.

  Anyone else seeing this?

• Having music Apple choose random songs to DOWNLOAD

  I just added a family plan of Apple's music.   I want to download music on my iPhone and iPad so that I can listen to during the flight. I don't want to choose specific songs myself but choose rather genres of music and artists that I love and you have Apple music randomly choose songs for download (like Pandora, except that I want to downloaded songs).  How do I do that? Thank you

  It is not really a way to ask Apple music to download random music as describe you, but I think you could approximate that as follows.

  Go to the "For You" tab and look through the suggested albums and playlists. These will be based on the artists that you liked or those who are in your My music collection. If there are playlists and albums that interest you then add them to your my music by pressing on the "+" plus sign, and then use the download icon to download the tracks for offline listening. During the flight you can bring up playlists and mix just to have your own radio station at random.

• No artist and music information of the Album in the App after update 6 Android on M4Aqua

  Hello community.

  I updated my Xperia M4Aqua a few days earlier of 5 Android to Android 6.

  The update worked fine. But since then, I can't find the information of the artist or the album in-app music. Instead, it shows just an empty space.

  Strangely, the title and the genre of music is displayed correctly.

  During playback of a track, the app run correct title, but also shows "unknown artist" and "unknown album".

  I deleted the cache and data local to the application, but nothing has changed. Then I downloaded the VLC Player on play store. Fortunately he read the files correctly, so that the information is still in the files. Just the music app is not showing them.

  Can anyone help? I really like to use the music app Sony again, because I love her and I am used and the VLC player crashes from time to time.

  Hi uliwooly, I just uploaded the folder music on the PC and on the phone and all of a sudden, all the information of the song are back. Strange error, but worked for me. Just the playlists are empty now :-(

  Am I missing some Apple loops loops? I can't find a strike simple triangle or a scan of a tambourain (chime). I need one of these for a project.

  you need to download the latest version of QuickTime Player for Windows from Apple http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
  If you have problems you can try to remove the existing installation and install again.

• Menu of the missing audio books

  The menu on my new Clip + shows not all records, but the music and I can't play my audio books.  I looked online user menual and although she mentions audio settings, I don't know how to get the menu to list books.  I am SO sick of buying products that do not work natively.  Any criticism I've read didn't mention; I don't think they actually use the products they review, as weaknesses in product monitoring is common.  Ranting because I'm TIRED OF CE CRACHER.

  In any case, can someone please tell me how to access my audio book?

  The choice of menu audiobook and podcast are submenus in the menu music. Don't ask me why Sandisk programmers think that audio books and podcasts are genres of music. :-) IMO these should have their own choice of menu in the main menu.

• version 12.3.3 poster/does not work correctly

  10 Windows on a Dell laptop running iTunes 12.3.3. The iTunes store appears zoomed in on my laptop screen and I can't click it right, especially on the right side. When I try to zoom out click on the right side of the screen I can't select one of these things.

  I was therefore impossible to browse the genres of Music tab, etc., or lists of albums of songs/albums. Can only get around the shop via the search bar. But my music library works very well.

  The current generation of iTunes doesn't make the iTunes Store properly when scaling of fonts is not set to 100%. Extended fonts mean that the active regions don't line up. Change the setting or make back up to the previous generation and wait for the next. See the programs installation of iTunes to download links. If you roll back to 12.3.3.17 to 12.3.2.35, for example, then you will also need restore the database in the manner described in the empty/corrupted after upgrade/crash iTunes library. The tip makes suggestions to reintroduce recent purchases, so at worst, you lose a few meters or a newly created playlist.

• Sansa fuze shows no audio books

  Although I can see the audiobook folder and audible with a computer I can't read them. I've updated to V01.02.31, but that did not help. Internal information audiobooks are recorded. Someone has an idea for me? Rockbox help?

  After you have selected the music, you'll see a play list all recently added, artists, albums, songs, genres, my most popular playlists, podcasts, audio books, records, files. Choose audiobooks from the list. It seems odd that Sandisk programmers consider audio books and podcasts as of genres of music.

  Let me explain that... Is it possible to get rid of all the files in Sansa Clip and unwanted by default? Things like audio books, Podcasts etc. All I want to be able to do is load up a couple of folders, each with different genres of music in them. Also is there any cool playlist there software which will take the place of the default. I actually found a shareware called Sansa Playlist Creator that I thought that may help, but it did not much.

  Also, about the MSC mode: it is simply a USB 2 file transfer protocols using the Clips (the other being the MTP mode). MSC mode is the "good ancient knowledge," in which your video looks just like to your computer as an external drive. Many of us define the Clip in MSC mode because, well, it tends just to run glitch-free, without care and feeding, going back to Windows XP and previous versions. On the other hand, MTP USB mode requires a driver (which comes as part of Windows Media Player 10 and more; if WMP is installed, you have) and can sometimes cause problems. However, MTP mode is necessary for files DRM' ed. Questions can be caused by the MTP mode - you might want to just configured mode MSC under settings for (it's a simple click is enough to make - nothing complicated). In any case recommended to avoid 'Auto' USB mode, where the player will use the (default) MTP mode or in MSC mode, according to the computer - this, however, can confuse issues.

  (1) how can I move files from my desktop to the BB in a dirctory structure that will make sense as soon as they are on the BB?
  As it is now, just gets thrown into "songs".
  (2) is it possible to rename the files on the BB, so I can tell apart them?
  (3) how create a directory named "Conférences" on the map of support BB?

  (1) and 3) you can access all that using the media browser.
  Screen homepage > Media > menu > Explorer

  2)
  for the regular application of the press: there is nothing of file because filing is done with the ID3tags (info on the files meta). So, if you want to be able to distinguith files, you must set the info in there. Which is easily achievable for the songs to MP3 using Mozilla SongBird or using the tag & rename or iTunes for example.

• Automatic check no longer works after update of El Capitan

  I've recently updated to El captain. (I know I'm a little backwards, but I fear there will be vital functions missing from Apple Apps - it's already happened)

  And since the upgrade, my documents are no longer automatic backup. Numbers, text editing, and Pages are all affected. Is this a known issue? Someone knows what to do to make it work again?

• Missing Apple 'organized' generic music Stations. iTunes 12.4.3.1

  Noticed today that the Apple music "curated" generic Radio Stations are missing on my Mac (latest iTunes OS and last.)

  I can see recently 'played' and 'Centres of Star' and have access to the people, but the generic stations kind (which is used to appear below 'Stations of Star') disappeared.

  Any idea what I could have done, or how can I get them back?

  EsteveL: curious, did you start with the 3 month subscription, complete it, discuss the high cost of the Apple music (like me) and return back to subscribe, and now you can't see organized radio stations.  This is my situation.  I signed up iTunes, quit iTunes, restarted, launched iTunes, connected and yet, the Radio tab... only on Mac because I see the lists on the iPhone and iPad... I only have 1 beats (whatever), played and Stations featured.  I want the organized list to choose from, like you.  I wonder if my path creates a bug in iTunes for Mac 12.4.3.1

  I did a search for A.r. Rahman music Apple and I see a lot of results. When search you make sure that you have selected "All of Apple Music" and not only from my library. If a title is not present, it means that the owner of the rights has not made available for streaming.
