Why do I get a blue screen when I go in the develop module?
I just installed LR cc on my new Dell laptop. I loaded 40Photos from a SD disk. Al came fine in the library module, but when I went to develop I had a bright blue screen. It was obvious that the photo was somehow behind the screen. The controls right acted as if the photo was on the screen. I tried the Reset, but nothing has changed. If I made a comparison, I received the photo on one side and the blue screen on the other. I must have accidentally hit something but can't for the life of me what it was.
Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance and uncheck CPU graph use, that should fix.
You can also try updating your graphic driver and see if you can work with the active graphic processor.

I saw the 0x0000007B BSOD caused by trying to install XP on a disk hard while the BIOS is designating the reader as AHCI instead of IDE. XP has no native AHCI drivers, resulting in a stop 7B. Unless the PC had originally Vista or Win 7, but it might be useful to check that it is not likely.
If the BIOS is set to AHCI, you could do one of three things (depending on whether your PC has a floppy drive)...
1 find the Setup F6 disk on AHCI support at installation time (start with the manufacturer's website if you do not already have such a thing). Watch the very hit F6 prompt early in the installation process.
2. change the setting in BIOS on IDE / ATA
3. create a new "slipstreaming" installation disc drivers AHCI in the existing installation disc, see http://www.nliteos.com/index.html
After the back if your BIOS is IDE / ATA

Why my screensaver pop up continuously when I am in the middle of something and if I click on new in the program fast enough, I have to reconnect. It gets really annoying. Help, please.
I tried the 'clean boot' thing, but it did not help. I continued to explore all the options I could think & I think I finally got. I might be a little embarrassed of it's a simple thing, it turned out, if I considered myself more ' compatible computer, but I "don ' t... so I'm not." In any case, just to let you know, because I appreciate you taking the time to help me, this is the 'waiting time' & 'on RESUME, display logon screen"in the"settings screen saver box. I had fixed in 1 min. & I had the "on RESUME" box checked. I've been playing with it a few days when I was changing my "background theme". Anyway, thanks a lot for taking the time :)

When I go to windows, and import a jpg or Canon raw files, I see them well in library mode but when I click on the mode to develop, I get blue by filling the entire section that the photo should appear. Nobody knows what will fix this problem?

I'm doing a new installation of my CD XP pro (SP2) on a sata drive.
My bios works with AHCI so I have the drivers on a floppy and press F6 when the installation starts. Finally, the screen shows it starts Windows but crashes with:

I have the disk sata hard connected to a sata 6 gb in the motherboard connectors, while the sata drive is an old one that is probably at the low speed of sata. Who would have something to do with it?Any ideas?
