Get back deleted photos

Photo

Hi whatever756,

When you remove an item (using normal deletion methods) the file is not actually deleted. Simply, the space it occupies is marked as free. This means that any file you save can use this 'free' space available. To 'restore' the files, you really need to try to restore as soon as you deleted the file. If you do not then the chances of being crushed is most likely.

As a suggestion, try to download the free application Recuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva and see if that will retrieve the files for you.

  • How to get back my photos to the original color?

I downloaded my pictures on my card and then when I tried to fix one of the images to clear up, all my photos went to pale, almost sepia color, more it has messed up my desktop color theme, etc.  It is difficult to see a red bird in sepia or pale green.  My setting for the memory card is to delete the original, once they are downloaded.  Not smart!  Help someone?

Depends on what program allows you to edit photos, but most offer a return to the original option, or cancel the changes.

It is never a bad idea to do backups of files if you want to erase the sd card after import.

Erasure of sd cards just makes it import pictures off the card the next time without creating copies of the same file over and over again.

But it depends on the program that you use to import with, windows Explorer cannot read inside closed, so it will import the same photo over and over again, if you create a new folder whenever you import.

  • Hello. I have windows 7 home... I had accidentally put in the trash... and deleting photos

    Hello.

I have windows 7 home... I had accidentally put in the trash... photos and then cleaned out the trash... lost all the pictures... did a system restore and got back records, but not photos... ANY IDEAS on HOW I CAN get BACK MY PHOTOS > please... !!!

It was a possibly a big mistake to do the system restore. There jepoardised your chances of recovering anything because it may well have used disk space previously allocated to your photos.

Some people on this forum have reported success with Recuva

Do not recover files to the same drive that you are trying to recover files from. This is likely to have the same consequences as restoring your system. In fact, it is preferable to stop using the hard drive which has (hopefully) the files lost and place it in another PC before run Recuva on the other PC. Install Recuva on your hard drive can also cause files become unrecoverable.

Good luck, I think that you will need. If something like Recuva recover everything you want, the only recourse is a (very expensive) data recovery lab.

  • Delete all photos on iPhone by mistake. Can I get back them?

Save completely deleted photos on iPhone 5 s.

    < re-titled by host >

    Greetings mutyurke

From your post, it seems you deleted all your photos and removed the recently deleted photos thinking that they would still be in the cloud.

Looks like you could possibly use iCloud photo library. If you take a look at this article: iCloud Photo library FAQ - Apple Support

If you have active iCloud photo library photos are synced to all your devices include in iCloud. If you delete a photo off of one device, it is deleted on all devices, including in iCloud.

    Take care.

  • Lost 9000 pictures after turning on the library of pictures of clouds and deleting on iphone. How do I get back them?

    Hi all

I have 9000 photos on my iphone 5 s and they are all backed up on my iMac. Tried to transfer pictures 9000 for external hard drive, but took time and never managed (crashes).

Vacation time comes, should as much space on my iphone to take pictures. Think maybe iCloud will be useful. Subscribe to greater ability to iCloud, turned on iCloud photo library on iMac and initiated to iCloud. Never finished. Maybe it's 12-13 June 2016. Then on the last night before departure holiday, maybe 16 June, decided to remove thousands of photos from my iphone in order to free up as much space as possible so that I can take a lot of pictures during the holidays.

I took pictures of 1900 during the holidays.

Returned home, turned on my iMac, see notes on iCloud saying Download 9000 pictures not completed. To be completed July 12.

Today, to my horror, I found that iCloud has only 1900 photos from my vacation. And pictures of 9000 before the holidays went - not on my iMac photo app and not on iCloud (deleted on iPhone, but never expected copies on iMac to be gone too and thought iCloud would have some of them).

Please help, it of all within 30 days or more - need the pictures back. My life in there somehow.

    Thank you and best regards.

    That's the problem.

If you delete photos from your iPhone while you use iCloud photo library on the iPhone, the photos will be deleted icloud photo library and all devices sync with iCloud photo library. It's a synchronization service and not an external storage. ICloud library aims to keep libraries on all perfectly synchronized devices. Any photo that you import syncs to all devices, and any photo that you delete on any device in iCloud and all other devices are removed.

Try to restore the photos on your iMac since the last backup of the Mac you made before you deleted pictures from your iPhone.

The pictures have been completely removed, or are they still in your recently deleted album?  This album will keep the photos for 30 days, if empty you not prematurely.
