First of all, you seem to be under the misconception that a response is a response. On ths forum, an answer is an answer if it solves your problem. In this case I clearly have not solved your problem, and you should review my answers to "uncheck" them.

IE6 does not work with this forum, and forum owners do not seem to appreciate how much of a problem, it's for people to re-setup of XP. I doubt they'll do something, even if they are aware of this gap.

Go to your real problem, you can try Microsoft's solution for the HP patch...

  • new Mac - application of the old series #, which was a PC version, it does not accept

    I series in 2008 numbers, but it does not take my #s series, even though I have 2 Mac install disks (X and XI).  Previous versions were PC (also have #s series.)

    The reason * I * did not is the answer was not correct.  I clearly said, I got of the serial numbers, but doesn't have version 7, or I.   If it was that I could came myself!

    The ANSWER is, I just blew it and installed Acrobat XI, w/o with a serial number of previous requested (which I didn't) in the X version.   The XI "seen" that X has been installed, although I could not open it and allowed the installation. Go figure.

    I have not removed the X version yet b/c I was so tired after you have reinstalled the software on 2 computers and a new, I did not get around him.

    I've been wanting to post the answer somewhere... and do not know the process.

    I was disappointed that nobody never go w / me on the chat... but I was happy that a holiday KGLAD made an attempt.

    How - to what support - did you back up your drive?

    Is a version of Norton antivirus or security program installed?

    When you use F12 to select boot device, what device were chosen to boot from?

    The message you have seen 'SMART failure provided on disk hard 4' followed by an identification of the drive?  What disk drive has been identified?

    What happened when you tried to use the CD "OS and recovery?  Please report any error completely, without paraphrasing.

    It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

    A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

    In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

    So. Since I got the BSOD (the o death blu screen), these are the steps I've tried:
    I started pressing F8 and tried to start a repair. BSOD appears.
    I started pressing F8 and tried "Run with the last configuration that worked", same thing.
    I changed my boot on CD/DVD in BIOS and tried from my Windows install disc, BSOD appears.
    I tried to delete my graphics (Radeon) card and attached monitor to the on-board, BSOD arises.
    I tried to use one of my RAM sticks GSKILL (two, distinct moments by themselves) and tried in different locations. I also borrow a new KINGSTON DDR3 ram friends and tried is separately, BSOD appears at reboot.

    I also went through the manual to make sure that all power cords are plugged in etc.

    The error is:

    I have finally fixed the problem myself. The problem was that one of the sticks three memory was bad and the only way I could test this error. I took two sticks a left, used disks I had and was able to restore my computer, then I put a stick, turned on the computer, had no errors so I let him, so I put the last stick in and com immediately on, I had the Disconnections: memory management and that's when I knew that the last stick of memory was bad I took it back and now my computer works well and I can't buy more memory for not too. So if someone gets this BOSD error on memory, I'd say 8/10 computers have bad memory (not a number).     I work as a tech TI and at present, we use laptops Lenovo x 230, I have install Windows 7 Enterprise N and then General programs such as internet browsers, some software to sync files, a bunch of business called Visual files, and other small pieces such as Adobe Reader, etc.

    If you do not get an installation disc, its always a good idea to do a repair disc. Just in case where, it can be useful sometimes.

    Update and run Malwarebytes again, to make sure that nothing has reappeared.

    AND make sure your AV package (depending on what you are using) is up-to-date and run a scan with that.

    Back up your data before any significant change just as a precaution to prevent you from losing everything you need, if things go wrong, as an accident during the SP1 update.
