  This was the solution!  The works of vpn as $ 1 million now.  I followed the instructions above to enter the uninstall program and selecting the repair option.  I rebooted the machine, then used the troubleshooting on vpn software compatibility option.  Selected Windows windows xp (service pack 2) as the correct software and cisco vpn client started right up.

  Looks like pictures which I assume you mean Apple's application to view and edit photo files is a 'disk' called JDK 8 update 73 ad.

  This implies that you have downloaded and mounted a "disk image file" for the update of Java and it is always 'mounted '. However the fact that you are still being harassed to install it in Safari implies that you have not run the update of Java installation package that must be inserted into the drive.

  Then, go back to the Finder and look for a drive in a window of Finder called "JDK 8 updated 73'. Click on that in the window of the Finder and the window should then list the contents of this disc. In this list should be something obviously to do with the installation, most of the installation files have an extension of the .pkg file, it could be called 'update Java 8 73.pkg. Double-click or open the pkg file and follow the instructions.

  Do the following and check:

  Step 1:

  Try to do a Scan of the SFC (System File Checker). The scan will look bad system files and will attempt to fix them, if possible.

  (a) click the Start button.
  (b) type: cmd.exe in the search results.
  (c) right click the cmd.exe file and select 'run as administrator '.
  (d) in the CMD window, type: sfc/scannow and press the Enter key.
  (e) restart and see if that solves the problem.

• Getting error while trying to install Vista Ultimate 64-bit

  I'm doing a fresh install of Vista 64-bit. He asks for the product key, I can select the partition I want it installed on, and then it goes to the screen where it starts to copy the files and I get the following error:

  I tried several times and get the same error. The disc is clean and has no scratches.

  Quad Core 2.66 Ghz
  8 GB memory
  XFX 790i Ultra Motherboard

  Anyone have any suggestions here?

  Remove RAM 6Gbs and installation with just 2GBs RAM.

  This is a known issue with vista 64-bit.

  Once the installation is complete, reinstall the rest of the RAM.

  The version of the software that you install is compatible with Windows 7, or is this a CD for Windows XP/Vista?

  Go to the site find software drivers & utility Print brother and download the Windows 7 driver for your printer, if available.

  SF_CDA_Software is a component of the Realtek High Definition Audio driver. If you receive this error permanently, there is a possibility that the Realtek High Definition Audio software installed in the start of the machine may be corrupted and causing the problem.

  If you have the Realtek High Definition Audio device installed on the machine, you can try to reinstall the Realtek High Definition Audio software.

  If device Realtek High Definition Audio is not installed on the computer or if you do not reinstall the software, you can configure the machine in a clean boot state and disable the start-up input.

  I can not install any of the trials of the CC. Each of them says installation failed and gives me the summary of errors.

  kt7815 for more information on how to view the log files of Adobe Creative Cloud applications installation please consult troubleshooting install problems with log files. CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html.  If you can post the error message in the log file, but also a text that surrounds it can be clearer that you receive the specific error.
