  I frequently need to search for files with brackets in the name of the file.    However, a bug in the Search Explorer means that search results will fill up with a lot of waste that does not match my search target.

  Example:

  At a command prompt "dir/s * (abc) *.» ' * ' usually works: the name of each file found will contain "(abc)".   (The only time that a search for the command line fails is when the version 8.3 of the name of the file matches the search target, but the name of the actual file does not work.)

  However, in Solution Explorer, look for "* (abc) *.» "*" returns all files with 'abc' in the name, and provides no way to filter the results so that I only see files with '(abc)' in the name of the file.

  Cancellation: Another inconvenience of Windows is when I work at a command prompt I get often unexpected results because the wildcard matching is done against both the full name of the file or folder and the name of 8.3.   Is there a way to force cmd.exe to restrict the wildcard matches only the complete names of the files and folders?  That is to say, is there a way to force cmd.exe to never, ever, use the 8.3 names?

  Hi all, I searched the internet for days to be able to find an example of a script or any code besides that will list all files in a warehouse of VMware vcenter, the majority of the code that I found used Get - VM to find the folder names. Get - VM is not useful for me.

  The script I need must be able to locate a file ending with "* _recent" inside a folder named ".snapshots" located in the root of several data stores (not Local).

  Summary of process:

  Find all data centers

  Locate all data warehouses

  Search in each data store found a folder titled ".snapshot" at the root of the data store if ".snapshot" is NOT found, not found report and continue to the next data store.

  If ".snapshot" determine whether a file ending with '_recent' is present .snapshot, found or not found report

  It would be ideal if the results / report saved in the CSV format and shows, for each data store, if there is no ".snapshot" or «_recent»

  Anyone out there can help with the creation of a script to fulfill my needs it please?

  I'm not sure that this is even possible?

  Was working before, but have only allowed a number of updates to Windows that had been blocked for a while.

  I go through the motions of scanning photo via web server embedded on safari, the scan occurs and the scanned picture appears in the preview image on the browser tool. So far so good.

  I right click to download the image to the computer when you are prompted, the download address is below.

  First of all make sure that the latest version of the software is installed by following these steps:

  Make sure that the printer is turned on and connected to your Mac or on the same network.

  Click on the Apple icon, then select about this Mac.
  Click software update, and then click the Store from the top of the indicated window menu and click on reload the Page.

  Be sure to install any update HP or Apple, then check for the difference.

• How can I make Windows Media Center play 21-2 (CBS)? He gets full signal on the search, but does not play.

  It's Windows 7, Windows Media Center, the TV Tuner Hauppauge USB Q 950 running.

  I am in Dallas, Texas. The station reads like T2D KTXA and KTXA DT 21-1 to 21-2... which is what WMC pulls upwards with you run the installer for my zip code.

  However, 21-2 is in the CBS reality, KTVT, 11.

  There is some confusion in my mind, as to what the frequency should be, having once been 19 and then received 11 temporarily, etc..

  I tried to get 21, 19 and 11 as the frequency, but WMC will play whatever it is facing 19 or 11 and will play again only 21-1 when I get 21 as the frequency for 21-2 (when I try to add it).

  I don't know what the reason for this problem, but I know there are across the country, in other markets, with WMC did not play all of the signals that it recognizes, even when they are large network signals OTA.

  I hope anyone in the DFW area, has experienced this problem and know the exact fix so I can view the CBS programming, for which I seem to have perfect signal, but can not get of WMC to play.

  I checked with a contact at Microsoft, and they suggested to try another
  tuner. (If it were me, I'd buy one from a vendor with a massive return of rock
  policy).  The list of compatible tuners is

• Cannot get my pictures in the order I want.

  I can't get my photos in the order I want.  I do this:

  (1) select the photos I want in the main file using a color filter. Then, I select the filter to display a selection of photos.

  (2) I rearrange the photos in the order I want by drag-and - drop in the "film" at the bottom of the screen.

  (3) I select the photos newly built for export. If I export to a new file the new photos in the new reveert file to the old order. Strangely, if I have the cursor on the images of the film of the new file, they are numbered in my custom command but physically they were returned back to the order that they were in before I gave up and dragged.

  What should I do on custom order my photos and export them to a new file that will recognize this order? I've done this plenty before but suddenly something goes wrong.
