• Impossible to get more than 1 channel to read with DAQmx cDAQ-9172 under Windows 7

  I have the cell load, voltage, and input thermocouple connected to a cDAQ-9172. My sensors entries have been scaled and verified in MAX, and all of them work.  DASYLab 13, the driver is "dcDASY.dll" and the hardware configuration is "NI MAX.

  When I add a task NEITHER-DAQmx Analog Input (that is, a set of scales) it appears correctly. If I add a second channel of the task and select it, I get this message:
  'Channel of task name saved with the module is not available. DASYLab resets the module parameters for usable first channel name task. »
  The name of the task remains the same for each new channel I have Add. If I change the name of the task by using the tab to the drop down menu, it says:
  "You have configured several ways out for the module. If you modify the task, you lose the settings. You want to change the task? »
  Both display the same data channels, and I can't work simultaneously several channels. It seems I missed something obvious, but I can't.

  You can't perform different tasks (continuous) HERE on a single chassis. The first tasks that starts will be 'the resource booking '.

  Combine the AIs of the various modules in a single task (see photo): start by creating the task of thermocouple. Then add AIs 9237 (e.g. Kraft) and 9215 (volts) using the button with the blue, symbol. Set the mode of synchronization of the task of "continue". Save the task, start DASYLab (second photo).

  Change a task (adding channels, etc.) to the MAX while DASYLab works always, will result in unexpected behavior. To synchronize the configuration of MAX with DASYLab, you will need to close/restart DASYLab or use the 'sync' of the function (see photo 3 "syncmax.jpg"). You can set this function as a shortcut by right-clicking on one of the eight green or grey circle things.

  You should think about an update of the MAX/DAqmx drivers. 9.x is a little outdated.

  The AFD 3200 B function generator has two channels. I want to use both channels generations some vague simultaneous sin. I downloaded the labview driver: Tektronix AFG 3000 Series.

  I did three things:

  (1) try to connect to two channels in VI.

  However, all the screws of example do not support the connection of the name of two channels simultaneously.

  (2) run only two signals generating VI with another name for channel at the same time.

  However, a single channel runs after the other.

  Do you have any suggestions?

  Hey Wu,.

  You need two sine waves to be completely synchronized (aka having the same exact phase)?

  If they must be synchronized, then the AFG should on the two output channels at the same time, but you will probably need to configure serial in your program.

  If they do not need to be synchronized, then is there a reason why you would not be able to simply divided between the output signal two BNC? If this isn't an option, then you will probably need to make some kind of trigger to get both channels to start at the same time.

• Can I read out the channel of AI to control ao channel?

  I use a USB-6211 to acquire two voltage signals synchronized to an LVDT (ai0) and a load cell (ai1). LVDT signal and load cell already amplified and conditioned before travelling in the ADF. LVDT and scale read displacement and force on a rod having position is controlled by a linear actuator. The actuator is controlled by a voltage waveform coming out of the 6211 (ao0). Is it possible to reference each input signal (one or the other, perhaps based on a Boolean value) to control the amplitude with the output signal?

  For example, if I wanted to move the stem a specific distance or press the stem into something with a certain force, could I refer to the distance or the strength of the input signal of the channels to set the amplitude of the signal ao AI?

  I guess what I would really like to do is to close the loop on the actuator so that it knows where it is in terms of force and distance. Is it possible using this material?

  You need to combine your personal data in a table.  The digital waveforms is simply a numeric representation of the binary table.  It always boils down to bit 0 of each element of the array will channel 0 (or the first string that you specify in creating dynamic channels).  The next bit goes to the next channel.  My last post is very clear.  To display the table in binary, right-click on a table element, then select the display Format, then select binary.  You can also right click on the element, select Visible, then select Radix Show to display the small b before the number.  One last thing, in the display Format window, uncheck the box next to the minimum field width to use.  Then set the digital just below zone 8.  Then select Pad with zeros to the left in the box below.

  You should not use waveforms up to what learn you more about how the HSDIO operates on the input data.  It is not difficult to combine waveforms, but it is not as clear as it is using an array of U8, U16 or U32.

  Trying to explain further.  The first number to be written to the HSDIO will have this effect: Bit 0 (LSB) of the number is written to the first HSDIO string you specify.  Bit 7 is on channel 8, you specify.  If you specify no 8 channels, the bits download ignored.  If wiring in a certain number will produce only a single bit on each channel.  In other words, the number has already combines the bits of all channels that you specify.  Combine you do nothing yourself.  Return to my photo on my last post.  By wiring in a table, you cause a binary model must be generated.

  In my opinion, you should contact Toshiba service to verify your TV.
  As much as I know there not many options that could enhance or fix this problem.
  You can try to reset the TV and could update the firmware, but it's what you could do. Everything must be done by the technician.

  When I do a rough cut with my subitems in Adobe prelude, it combines my two audio channels to a track. Even when I export my subclips in Premiere Pro, I also have an audio track with two audio channels in it. What I am doing wrong?

  Hi Sven,

  You do anything wrong here. If you grow the prelude and first audio track, you can see that the audio channels are in place. It's just the difference in the way in which strings are being represented in the timeline Prelude and rough cut.

• How to get a control custom/typdef DO NOT oblige to

  I got a few different custom controls / typedefs which are groupings of channels.  Each is very specifically different.  However, many of them have the same number of items in them (example custom control/typedef with 4 elements of string) and LabVIEW to allow these two groups guard get automatically from one to the other.  (even if the names of the elements are different, it seems to only care about the type and the number of elements).

  What can I do to avoid the constraint auto one typedef to another, when I don't want it to happen?

  I think that LVOOP is a better suggestion, but if you do not want to go this route, you can add a single control to each cluster. There is something for the creation of a single control based on packaging in a datalog file reference: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Creating-own-datatypes-handles/td-p/869780 create a separate from those of each cluster and add this type again as an element of the corresponding cluster and I think you will force the line break when the types are not compatible.
