  It still looks like a driver/hardware problem. Have you checked the Web site of the manufacturer of the sound card for the latest drivers?

  Alternatively, you can try to lower the hardware acceleration tab of the DirectX Diagnostic tool Sound 1 .

• [SOLVED] Windows 7 hangs during the "you want to allow this program to make changes to your computer.

  I was recently on my computer and running windows 7 with happiness and problem free, until I downloaded a file from the internet. When I opened it, windows asked me if I want to allow this program allow changes. However, there is the rub. When I click on 'Yes', the message will disappear, but the computer hangs at the screen has gone even a light, tinted gray, with all of the programs that are still running in the background. It freezes for about 2 minutes and then decides to return to normal, free for me to return to work and navigation. However, the program that I have originally intended to be performed by him to make changes didn't work at all. Confused, I ran over and over again, but with very little success, and the problem continued to appear. I tried to launch a clean boot, but that doesn't help more. Can someone help me please?
