Get tabs for reload on startup
I use Firefox to read the news. I have it on a schedule, so that it opens half an hour before I get up, so when I'm in front of my computer, they are all loaded and waiting.
Before the last update, all tabs loaded at startup. Today, many sites don't. I guess they are reloading the cache, because the page is identical to the page of the previous day. Hit the button refresh will solve the problem, of course, but then I have to wait for the page to reload. Not the end of the world, but a little awkward.
Some browsers have an option to force the browser to ignore the cache, or to remove the cache when the program stops, but I have not found one way or the other in Firefox.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Thank you.

How to get to the homepage on the tab 'for you '?
12.4.2.4 iTunes
With Apple's music subscription, I am browsing inside the tab "for you." There is no button to take me directly to the page by default "for you" main see you playlists and albums selected for your taste.
The only way to get there is by using the ' back' button on the left and the high if iTunes, which is a real pain, because it works as a browser, to get to where you have just before, so if you've been suspended for different pages for half an hour, you may need to click on dozens of times to return to the home page.
Please see the image as an attachment, I searched the last album of Daft Punk, chosen. I'm under the tab "for you", there is no button to go home. I have to click several times on the ' back' button on the left corner of the tab bar.
Is there another way to go to Homepage?
Hello
Click on for you. This should bring you back to the default display. It works for me!

what I'm doing. Download this file are what
It is sometimes easy to get rid of the error message by doing something like disable the startup item in msconfig (if you can still find), but I suggest you fix the problem and difficulty not only the symptom of the problem by simply deleting the startup message.I would also not recommend you start digging in the registry to try to find the startup item and remove it unless you have a backup of your system or at least a backup of your registry, because there is no 'Cancel' or 'quit without saving changes' option in regedit. If you make a mistake, that's all. These ideas relieve 'rapid' and sometimes risky of the symptom if they not even work at all, but they can't actually solve the problem. Also, I'd be suspicious of ideas that begin with the words "try." You don't need to try things, you need to fix things. You don't need to try ideas that might work, you must do something that will always work all the time. Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.If you do not have a good explanation for the name of the file in a Google search, the chances are good that your system is currently or has been infected by malware.A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist. It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed. The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection. So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it. Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.You must be sure to solve the problem and not just fix the symptom of the problem by simply relieving your message - system is not a fix (there is a difference).
If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer. The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool. Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration. Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem. If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns. The problem can always be found in the registry well. Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit. Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:You can also use the Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding. Autoruns does not install anything on your computer. It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely. Here is the download link for Autoruns:Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries. When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner. Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information. You are really interested only a few sections. The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message. If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.You can also click file, search to search for logon, or any tab for all or part of the name of the element.Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove. If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry. If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it. Autoruns shall display the same information however.Given that your system has or has had an infection, follow up with this:Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if you wish.Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues. -
Browser wants to open 150 tabs and windows at startup...
In the process of cleaning up my office, I have switched my keyboard. I got the browser window open to ESPN3 in a replay of College football. My keyboard is a keyboard shortcut to open new tabs. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the shortcut key declined over 150 times, opening a new tab for each. In addition, each tab to open a new window pop up game. I opened the Task Manager and stop the process. When opening Firefox again, it automatically opens all tabs and windows again before I can do anything. So... after the termination of the process down again once I restarted the computer. And now, the same thing happens early upward. so... Shut the computer down. Same thing. so... I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled. Same thing again. I am at a loss. Please advise!
You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the session data.
Delete sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and groups of tabs open and closed tabs (back) to get lost and you will have to re-create them (take note or bookmarks if possible). You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

How (really) to stop the tabs from loading at startup until the user clicks.
I googled. I have read so many answers and tried them all.
Browser.sessionstore.Restore *.
Browser.Tabs.Load *.None of the related responses actually prevents firefox from loading tabs (home | homepage |) Home page) at startup.
Then please. As I was five, and in order to preserve for posterity, someone explain how to stop firefox from loading tabs of the homepage automatically at startup. I want to load them when I click on it, or if I close the tab, for not otherwise materially affect the time of start/loan.
I'm going to mark as resolved to close, but really, I guess I decided it is insoluble. The answer to "How to stop tabs on the home page of loading in the background" is really "why would you do that?
Mainly, I want to do because I use extra home pages and reminders "view" soon If I bookmark something that he is likely to be forgotten and lost, whereas if I at least see the tab every time I start firefox, I'll deal with it later. I'll have to change this behavior, though, I suppose.
Browser.sessionstore*-
My understanding of these parameters after having read the other questions, it's that they don't affect the loading, which were finally open family home page and will be reopened on a new start tabs only if you have firefox set to operate in this way. (Which I did not - if I close a session with 9 tabs, they went and the next start will generate just my home page tabs).
john99, I appreciate your time and your help.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

Want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts?
FF 27.0.1 on Linux Mint XFCE 16, up to date.
I have my preferences set to "show my home page".
Whenever I close FF with the X in the upper left corner, he gets up and asks me "do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts? I check the box to ask next time and have tried both save and exit and just left. When I open the browser again, it seems to randomly decide to open all the tabs I had last time, or sometimes (rarely) just my home page tabs.
I don't want to open all the tabs I had open, and I don't want the question whenever I have leave FF. I used FF for years with XP, but I am new to Mint.
Done setting the prefs 'warnon' on the topic: config false page has an effect any?

After firefox updated all addons some of them has opened a new tab after restart. This tab has reported that each addon has been updated.
But these tabs keep opening at startup, hiding my homepage and gets boring.I solved many of them downgrading to an older version, but I can't trouble the Tabmix more tab than guard leader here:
http://tmp.garyr.NET/version_update2.htm?version=0.4.1.1pre.130722a
Even without this downgrade, which in fact lead to another page that tells a different version (the one I had demoted to)EDIT. I wiped out the config to restore it piece by piece.
Everything is now resolved. -
When firefox load it also load another tab for the search engine. How can I remove this where it will load only my start page?
You can check the setting of the home page and make sure that it doesn't have a leak ' |'.
Firefox supports several home pages separated by ' |' symbol.

Home page and a new tab will appear at startup
My home page is my.yahoo.com. When FF starts the homepage tab appears MORE a new additional tab. Any ideas on how to get just the homepage at startup? (prevent FF to open additional new tab)
If you have extensions working in Firefox 11, they will work in Firefox 21 (because Firefox now, since 10, default is all compatible). In addition, you won't be on the older versions because of security risks. Upgrade to Firefox 21 as soon as POSSIBLE, then update your extensions and plugins.

I get an error rundll at startup... It is said c:\windows\wsaolich.dll How can I solve this
This happens whenever I start windows xp sp3
There is no file in Windows XP. This file was probably part of a virus or spyware infection that has been partially removed. Run a full scan for virus/spyware. If the problem persists, use the free Windows Sysinternals Autoruns tool to find and remove the reference to the file.
For more information about how to use the Autoruns, please see:

Where can I get help for a problem with the language?
I have 3 languages installed on this computer. It worked fine last night, but today it will not switch between them. Where can I get support for this problem? Thank you!
Restore point:
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
See you soon.

The Windows Task Manager seems completely wrong - it has no tabs for applications, services, processes, performance and networking, just one size rectangle box SHOW the TASKS of WORKING ON? I use it all the time close process and close programs stuborn. None of these options are CURRENTLY available? The only thing I can think is I went to delete one of my readers WD3.0 data and he says it has been used by another program and I've had that happen before and just go close a lot of the process by typing Control, Alt and delete which opens the windows task manager. I recently changed "System Configuration'under'msconfig" Normal startup to "selective startup" and reduce the number of drivers and programs loading to 'Start Up', as he ran 90 things and slow start. "" "» I have no viruses or malware. I changed the "system configuration" back to normal + restart and that he would remove the progams, or processes that have been intefering with the Western Digital HD software. THIS IS WHEN I FIRST NOTICED WINDOWS TASK MANAGER HAS BEEN SCREWED UP.
But I can't because my Windows Task Manager is just a rectangular box with a single word to the top sayingTASKS! Without tab with all the other options as in (program, process, services, performance, and network management).
Would BE AN INTELLIGENT PERSON please TELL ME WHAT TO? I don't want to do a system restore , as I just cleaned it all points this week and just started around and added a bunch of programs and data this week that I let go.
PLEASE HELP ME TECHE AND MICROSOFT. I PAY $250 p/year FOR THIS DELL ALIENWARE MACHINE LOADED due to it's PERFORMANCE AND THEY WILL NOT ANSWER (1) DANG SOFTWARE ISSUE WITH what THEY ARE PAID. THEY WANT $60 - $100 OR MORE TO ANSWER THIS QESTION FRENCH ANOTER. THEY USED TO, WHEN I COULD BUY GOLD SUPPORT BUT THEY SELL ON THIS MACHINE, SO I'M ON MY OWN AND THANKS FOR THE ADVICE LIKE THIS...
The Microsoft Support web site.
The task manager has two different views. For the display that includes menus and tabs, double-click the border of the Task Manager window. To return to the view without menus and tabs, double-click anywhere in the border around the tabs.
We won't have the information mentioned in the first response of Sandsweep.
(I confirmed Microsoft's answer worked.) I must have clicked on the edge of the window Task Manager to have switched over to the second, less familiar view.)
