get tabs in the title bar (osx)

Hello

On a windows 8 PC, I can activate the tabs in the title bar.
I can't find a way to do this on OSX mountain lion. (New installation of Firefox).
I googled around nothing helps.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you

It is not possible on Mac.

You can only have the tab on top and possibly switch to full screen.

I don't know if it is possible to have the toolbars and the bar visible tabs all the time mode full screen.

On Windows and Linux, the toolbar of Navigation and tab bar appear if you move the pointer to the top and you can right-click the empty area of the tab bar to open the context menu of the toolbar to remove the check mark next to 'Hide the toolbar'.

  • How can I get rid of the title bar?

    When I installed Firefox on my new computer Windows 8, I got a style in which there is no title bar. The tabs are up there with a Firefox orange button on the left. It allows to access the menu items. I like that. However, I tried the function of my profile on a Windows 7 computer. (A lot of stuff in there). When I installed that, it put me in a situation where there is a title bar to waste unnecessarily vertical screen space. In this profile of Windows 7, I used the Tiny Menu addon to compress menu items on a single button. It is on a line with the address bar and the search bar. The tabs are below. I can't understand what is set in the profile of my Windows 7 to get the appearance I like in the 8 Windows Installer.

    I tried the tips here: http://www.squidoo.com/hide-firefox-title-bar
    I see no label on the higher setting and browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar is already set to true. When I turn off the Menu bar and title bar goes away and the legs are up there with the orange button in Firefox; However, I lose the address bar and the search quite bar.

    There must be a way to solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Firefox tabs 9.0.1 not in the title bar

    My tabs are below the menu bar. I saw on another machine that I have that the tabs are in the title bar, what I prefer.

    I checked the config: about, and browser.tabs fields are all resolved by default. I tried to reduce and optimize the window. I searched in the options, but can't find anything related to positioning tabs, other than the "tabs on top" (that I have). I tried "customization", thinking that I might be able to drag the tabs in the title bar, but no luck.

    I note that the title bar is a symbol of Earth firefox, not an orange tab, and the title bar is active, display of the current page that I am.

    You can check the value of the browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar pref on the topic: config page.

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

  • How to restore the title bar? Title of the page displays only the tabs - this is not good enough

    I'm used to be able to see the title of the page in the title bar. Firefox has removed this feature, and now I have to mouse over the tab to display the title of the page. It is another example of extracting the characteristics that people use for reasons that I don't understand. So far, I had to install two 'add ons' to restore the common features on previous versions - and always on IE and Chrome.

    1. Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar and select Customize.
    2. Click the button on the title bar in the lower left corner.
    3. Click the Customize output button when finished.

  • Acrobat XI, osx lion mountain, view full screen still has the title bar

    With acrobat X, when you went to the mode full-screen, it would use the full screen. While I am disappointed that the acrobat xi osx version does not use the native osx fullscreen option, now, however, when you enter full screen, it always seems to be a title bar of the window in full screen (with the dots on the left and the name of the file in the center of the title bar). I have not found a way to disable this option in the preferences. Is this the new normal?

    Thank you.

  • Firefox on Mac used to have a button toggle toolbar on the title bar. Can I get it back?

    What happened to the button toggle tool bar that used to be on the far upper right side of the title bar? FF4 on a Mac.

  • The title bar does not appear, it is not a menu option view

    I remember I once a title bar above the horizontal list of tabs, which shows the title of the currently opened tab. But it is not there now; and there is no option in the menu 'View' (which is, I think that I've seen it before) to add. What happens, and how to get the title bar back?

    You have this option on Mac in the palette to customize?

    You can enable or disable switch title bar via the "Title bar" button at the bottom left in the palette to customize window.

    Make sure that you run not Firefox mode full screen (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command + SHIFT + F).

    Did you disable or uninstall the McAfee SiteAdvisor?

    The extension of McAfee SiteAdvisor has been reported to cause problems with Chinese characters (CJK) text on the tabs, so that you can disable this extension.

  • How to stop the title bar and border of blinking/flashing in Windows 8 Pro?

    Regardless of what is or is not running. A (desktop) application or a program/process of Windows (File Explorer) and it is just down right annoying when watching TV in Media Center. If the 'window' is not full screen or reduced to a minimum and some downtime on the keyboard or the mouse is detected the 'top' window title bar and border blink and get progressively faster and more annoying. This is the top of the window. Why must he beg for attention? And how it stop! In addition, and I'm not sure that this is relevant, but the mouse pointer has a circle flashing next to her all the time. A judgment that would be nice too.

    I think I found a solution to this title bar and border blinks problem. I have a same problem and experienced looking in msconfig, click on the service tab and hide Microsoft. I would try disabling the brand of computer like HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc. I did for my HP laptop and disable its manufacturer, then restart, and the title bar and border do not Flash. We hope that the work plan.

  • A region at the only border only no title or the title bar

    Hello Expert,

    I'm trying to create a border around the region, essentially a region with just the bar border and no title or title. There are no simple approach available for this option. Anyone can shed light on this question.

    APEX Version: 4.1.0.00.32

    Theme: Builder 2 blue (I guess that's the theme 2 in the APEX)

    I tried various option using the model of the region without border, report region, region of report without title, without model, etc. as well as a style following CSS code, I've added in the header section of the Page.

    This option creates the border on top of the elements of the region, but do not cover the elements of the region as the elements, who was also in the model without button nor titles

    < style type = "text/css" >
    #CRR {border-style: solid;-CRR is a static ID for the region}
    border-width: 1px ;}
    < / style >

    I also tried to create a model with a new region and removed from the class title and the button class, which has created a region without borders, but there is no line on top than on the sides, which looked so weird. I don't know what is the right solution, but a solution with the new model of the region which does not create that border and no title and the title bar is good.

    Kindly please let me know an approach if everyone is aware.

    Thank you
    CP

    Is certainly useful, it does not create the border, but the border is created for both regions.

    It is not the case. It applies only to the #CRR region.

    I have four total regions. At the top is breadcrumb area, below which is region report showing details of base. The third region is a region list waith browser tab only and it is a region without borders. Regions of fourth has all the elements of the form for which I wan the border only. With your suggestion, I am able to get the border, but it covers now the two region 3 and 4. I just only on the 4th region. The model region of fourth, that I modified to 'Region without button or title' the way you suggested.

    Region 3 is cut off from normal flow by excess of s floatthis theme inexplicably applies to virtually everything. This causes the region 4 up and region 3 is rendered in its box.

    Try to make the region 3 model No., or using this to clear the floating region:

    #CRR {
      clear: both;
      border: 1px solid;
    }
    #CRR .bl-body {
      float: none;
      padding: 10px;
    }

    The region 3 and region 4 same class .bl-body, hjowever I did not have any static id for region 3. I tried with the static id in region 3 of naming with different name, but that has not changed anything.

    None of this has to do any (other than this class .bl-body is floating).

    Ideally I would prefer a new model of the region, so I can use it for several pages.

    You probably want to create your own model of region from scratch, something like:

    #BODY#

    with a stylesheet as:

    .bordered-region {
      clear: both;
      border: 1px solid;
      padding: 10px;
    }
