  • Firefox does not work for multiple instances of the SAME user account on Windows Multipoint Server 2011

We have a PC HP of MulitSeat MS6200
It runs Microsoft Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 (which seems to be a twisted version of Windows 7)
It is implemented in a laboratory of computer science and students connect you using their account for shared room - IE multiple instances of the same user accounts are currently running on the PC at the same time.
The first student to run Firefox can work with it without a problem.
However, when another student try to start firefox they get the following message:
Firefox is already running but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.

Cannot start Firefox using a profile that is already used by someone else.
Each Firefox instance needs its own profile or you will get this error message.

Use-no.-line switch remote control to open another instance of Firefox with its own profile and to different instances of Firefox running concurrently.

  • Cannot remove the old user account (admin)

I'm on a MacBook Pro 15 "the retina with OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

I have two admin accounts, an 'old' I do not use and a more current that I use.

I want to delete the 'old' admin account, but I get an error message: "cannot delete user... account error backup in the home folder for this user."

Here are the steps I followed:

    1. System Preferences-> users and groups

    2. click on unlock icon; authentication with username and password

    3. click on the 'old' user account and click on the button "-" to remove it.

    4. Select the option "save the home folder in a disk image", then click on remove the user

    5. for the moment, he says 'delete account '.

6 then I get the error message.

I know that I could choose the second option (in step 4), but I really want to move the old files of the user users users/Deleted.

Any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated

The first thing that comes to mind is the following: is there enough room for the disc to be created image and put in files? The files are not moved from the reader to the disk image, they are copied. Then for a time in the account to be deleted files will be on the computer two times. The second thing that comes to mind is that there is a directory of the hard drive problem. If you do not have enough space and is my first problem, start the recovery partition and use the directory of disk to repair the drive. And the third thing that might be the cause of the problem is a bad file that cannot be copied to the disk image. It will be difficult to understand because basically, you will need to open each file to find the one that is perhaps incorrect.

  • Libraries will not appear in the other user accounts

    Hi-

How can I get my libraries (documents and photos) is displayed in the two user accounts on my home computer, Windows 7?

We had to do a system restore, so saved our documents and photos on an external drive. After the restoration of the system, we have uploaded our docs and images on the computer.  But they appear only in one of our user accounts. How can we make the libraries 'cross' to the two user accounts?

    Thank you!

A library is basically a result of the research.  It scans all the "included folders" you set and shows you what it found in a point of view combined.  If at this point, your library should show you all the files of the profiles as well , in a single 'view of the library.  I do the same thing with my video library: it shows all the movies of my video file, more computer of my roommate, and my external hard drive full of movies.

  • Illustrator CC will launch only in the new user account.

I had trouble with the main user account settings causing newly installed apps crashing.

I couldn't install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on the main account... they kept crashing on launch.

With the help of Adobe Support (take control remotely from my Mac), after having tried and tried to install it on my main user account, that they finally successfully the installed in a new account user without problem. However, it's a workaround and not the best solution.

It seems that the account settings user principal is in contradiction with the launch of the product. On installing successfully on the new user account they strongly suggest that I should now get in touch with you, the guys at Apple support to verify authorization/main user account settings and check if there is no certain permissions that may conflict with Adobe Illustrator CC.

As advised, I contacted Apple Supprt and spent several hours and has done the following with their help:

    DISK UTILITY

    The disk verified permissions

    The repaired disk permissions

    Disc checked

    ADOBE PRODUCTS

Confirmed that Acrobat Pro XI worked in the Admin user account

Confirmed that Dreamweaver CC worked to the Admin user account

Confirmed that InDesign CC worked to the Admin user account

Confirmed that the bridge CC worked to the Admin user account

Confirmed that Photoshop CC worked to the Admin user account

Confirmed that Illustrator CC doesn't have a user Admin account, but has worked in the new user account.

Uninstalled Illustrator CC and reinstalled through Creative Cloud CC

Removed all 17 Illustrator preferences in both libraries

As before Illustrator CC doesn't have a user Admin account, but has worked in the new user account.

    APPLE SUPPORT SUGGESTION

I'll be back for you, by saying: "...". This would be better handled by the adobe User support REPS specific errors can occur in any application and there are things that the 3rd third party provider can look at to solve this problem. »

I'm getting hit back like a tennis ball. Any solid suggestions? Everyone has been through this loop?

  • Two thunderbird profile both at the same time with the same user account

    Dear Sir
I would like to use Thunderbird two at a time for two different profiles with the same user accounts.
    I use linux OS.
    I thought using the:

    1. Thunderbird Pei Profile1 &
    2. Thunderbird Pei Profil2 &

But at the launch of the second order, that nothing is happening.
Appears in the foreground thundirbird already started.

If possible use this configuration now or in the future nex?

General rule, thunderbird runs only a single instance of a profile.
However, there are two options, you can try.
You can use an addon esily switch profiles:

    There's more help here:

He said: "several instances is expected for debugging, so use it at your own risk.

One method would be to use: start > run
    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe"-no-remote Pei profilename

There is a space before '-no '
    and also before '-P'
followed by a space and the name of the profile

You can create a shortcut icon to run each separate profile.

  • Problem with the administrator user account

When I connect to my administrator user account a Windows Sidebar message immediately rises:

"Settings.ini is being used by another process. Close the other program, and then click Retry, or click Cancel to exit sidebar. »

The problem is that there is no other program to close so I click on no to cancel. There is also a message from Catalyst Control Centre (program of ATI technology video card) that comes immediately after the message of the sidebar:

"The host application has stopped working a problem caused the program blocking works correctly." Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

I click Close Program, but no notice is. Try using Windows, I get the message "help topic is not found." I tried the system information (msinfo32.exe) and get the message "cannot collect information cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software.» Management of Windows files may be displaced or missing. » !!!

All the above problem ONLY happens in the administrator user account. Both regular user accounts work fine. Windows help works very well, information system works very well!

I'd appreciate any help to solve this problem of crazy.

If you "move" the files/folders to PUBLIC folders, you can then access them when you are in the new admin account and then you can place them in your personal folders.
If you do not Move To and copy to options in your context menu, here is the tutorial to "help":
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/89196-context-menu-add-copy-folder-move-folder.html

When you have completed the tutorial, try this...
Right click on any folder/file > click Move To > scroll to the destination where will be moved to the folder/file > click on move.
That's all. The file/folder is moved.

Public folders are accessible to all user accounts on the computer.

  • Why the unknown user accounts

What are the unknown user accounts? I want to give them all the permissions on my computer?

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

Please confirm where you can see this unknown user account?

    Where is it ask permission?

What is the exact message you get?

A user account is a collection of information that tells Windows the files and folders you can access, what changes you can make to your computer, and your personal preferences, such as your desktop background or screen saver. User accounts let you share a computer with several people while having your own files and settings. Each person accesses his user account with a user name and password.
