get the URL of the browser

Is it possible to get the URL of the browser? I have seen an application that gets it and check.

I searched all the related browser api but unsuccessful.

You can add your own item to the browser application menu. The current URL is sent to your application when selected by the user.

See ApplicationMenuItem and ApplicationMenuItemRepository in the javadocs.

    A lot of time, the sites asking that your location will try to determine based on your IP address, which may return strange results if your Internet connection performs the routing in other places.

    You can make sure that this check box is disabled, as shown in this picture of eightforums:

    But you can also set the default location to use, here:

  • The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected) and I tried EVERY DIFFICULTY shown in these discussions. Why used it let me not open a session?

    I get the browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected) no matter what I do on yahoo. Help.
    I have yahoo in my cookies 'allow' option always. I accept third-party cookies is selected. I tried to remove the "prefs" file in my profile troubleshooting folder and nothing works. Yet, I can log on using IE without any problem. I hate IE and want to use FF. Is there any solution for this or what?

    Other info. I use adblocker more, but have this option disabled on yahoo.com. That did not work. I also use trackblocker of private lifestyle choices and better privacy extensions.

    This problem may be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

    Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

    If the deletion of cookies did not help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies has been corrupted.

    • Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete the other files of cookies as cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

    You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

    Using "Forget this Site" will delete all data stored in Firefox in this area as bookmarks, cookies, words of past, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain you don't want to lose then check that back up these data or make a comment.

    You can't recover from this "forget" unless you have a backup of the files involved.

    It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.

  • My home page is MY MSN and when I go to a certain article and I am in fact and that the browser goes back to the top of the page MY MSN rather than where I left

    If I'm browsing subjects on my homepage and find one that reads my interest, I click on it and the browser goes on this site for me to read. When I'm through with that I hit the back button and on most Web sites, the original page back to where you were before you click on the interesting element. Not MY MSN, which is my home page, it returns to the top of MY MSN, which is irritating, especially if the elements that interest me are a group at the bottom of page on MY MSN and I want to read every 5 or 6 of them. How can I get the browser to return to the place I left?

    Try to open the "statutes" in a new tab, and when finished read each article close the tab I hope the MY MSN page original will maintain the position you left it to (unless this page has an automatic refresh frequency, to add new items to the list).

  • How can I make my site default to the "Home" page loading in the browser of dreamweaver?

    When loading my site it goes to the 'Contact' page first.  How can I get the browser to display the "Home" page in Dreamweaver 20141?

    Thank you

    Your hosting server will have a list of names by default it uses for the homepage of your site, as one of these names the page exists in the folder root of your remote site, it will be the first thing to happen when someone goes to www.yoursite.com.

    Index.HTML is the most common kind of window files of DW with your change of open defined Site, the name of the page that you use as the home page of your site to index.html as Ben says, also make sure that it is in the folder local root (not in any subdirectory). Change in the files window will allow DW to re - write all the links to this page located on your other pages. Download pages everything has changed and your homepage will appear by default.

  • I need the URL for the default home page so I can put it in my homepage protection, because all I get when I open the browser's "about"white."

    I'm going to hell to get just the URL for the browser/Firefox start page. I just did a recovery image factory and all I get after downloading and installing the Firefox browser a tab that says 'about white." I don't get the URL in the address bar so that I can put this URL in my homepage of protection (I use Advanced System Care ultimate). Once I get this URL and place it in the area of protection of homepage of my security software, I'll be ready to go, because I want to use Firefox as my default browser. I searched the frequently asked questions and asked the question in every way that I know, in English, and there seems to be no one there who can tell me just the URL of the start page. While I do not understand why it is so hard to get, I certainly need and would be grateful for a solution to this problem.

    It is actually called Subject: Home , but the only way to know would be if you were viewing the page and called to the top of the Page Info dialog... who, for future reference you can get using one of these methods:

    • Right click on a box empty page and select View Page Info
    • (menu bar) Tools > Page Info
    • Click on the globe or padlock icon in the address bar > more information

  • Get url from the browser form 11g?

    Is there any function to get the current url of the browser that is running in applet form 11g?
    Or at least the server part: port?

    Thank you

    In version 11, you can use javascript to retrieve the url of the browser. For example:

    Declare
         JS_in      varchar2(32767);
         rtn     varchar2(1024);
    Begin
         -- JS_in is the javascript funtion you want to call.
         JS_in := 'location.href';
         rtn := WEB.JAVASCRIPT_EVAL_FUNCTION (JS_in);
         -- "rtn" should contain the complete URL as seen in the browser address bar.
         -- Do something with rtn.
    End;

  • Get the Url of the .swf file browser

    Hello!

    Quick question... I need to get the url of a SWF embeded html browser.

    If the url of the browser is "http://www.mysite.com/stuff/myHtml.html? '. ln = en", I need to access it through my swf file in order to find the value of the parameter of ln (language). Any suggestions?...

    Thank you

    a swf file can get its own url, which won't help when the query string is added to the built-in xml file.

    You can use:

    function urlF() {}
    return location.href;
    }

  • Every time (for weeks now), I click Site Preview in the browser I get the white/white screen and no url...?

    I can't find someone through Google or forum here get the same problem but me drivin frustrated grrr and obviously hinders my workflow.  All PLS knows how to solve this problem?  There is no Preview parameter, that I can find anywhere and my browser settings Chrome etc. have not changed and don't know what to do help!

    -Sterling Williams

    The first step, at least in a copy of your .muse file, in order to eliminate the possibilities, remove all custom code and others. If the problem goes away, then you know where to look for the problem. If it isn't, then we have reduced considerably the possibilities that must be taken into account and we can look at some areas less likely.
