  The message you are getting means that there is some corrupt system files that could not be fixed.  If you look in the CBS.log file , it should tell you which files.  When you do that, you can try to replace the corrupt files.  However this seems to happen whenever you update it a game then you will need to contact their support for aid as this can be a problem for them.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  If the hardware comes with a driver and it's plug - and - play. then install driver first and then plug unit in.  If the device under says that the driver is included in Windows, it connect while your PC is off, start the PC and let Windows detect it.  It should install the correct driver and the device configuration.

  Hi, I have the same error when I tried to install it on my pc.

  What I did:

  1. run the cleanup utility on the Local C drive windows disk

  2. restart your computer.

  3 run ccleaner , then click on "cleaner".

  Then, got to 'Register' then click Scan then click Fix all issues...

  4. prior to installing the Sims 3 game, clean installation disk using a disk cleaner and a microfibre cloth. Make sure the disk is dry until you load it in your DVD player.

  5. once the installation is complete, restart the computer. Then, refer to steps 1-4.

  Recently, I added internet access at home.  I have updated the files of the window recently, including the addition of the Service Pack.  I also did a disk cleanup.  I tried to use Pandora (well before the update) and I also checked another CD I have.  When I tried to play the music CD, I get the error code c00d11b1.  I tried to use MR.
