• Some open programs appear as separate icon, but some don't

  Hello

  Among the programs that are pinned to my task bar create a storage icon in the task bar while they are open - this was the behavior up to Windows 7. However, most of my programs which are pinned in my taskbar does not create a second icon, while they are open.

  For example, there is an icon for FireFox on my taskbar. I click on it to open an instance of FireFox. It is open, its icon will 'only' is highlighted, but there isn't a second FireFox icon.

  However, if I click on the Safari icon that is also in my bar task, it will appear as a second icon of Safari which is always displayed to the right of the icons that are pinned in my bar tasks.

  Like I said, this is the normal behavior until Windows 7 while most might be thinking this is normal but I like this new behavior of Windows 7 where the icons of open applications are highlighted as opposed to cluttering my taskbar with "redundant"icons."

  My question is how do applications behave like any other?

  For the No. 1 behavior is normal, as the icon pinned to the start highlites.

  #2 behavior: You click on the Safari icon, and will appear another icon, right?
  Try this: click on Safari. When it is opened, right-click on the icon that represents the open Safari (not the one that represents the shortcut). Click on pin this program to the taskbar. Then pin the shortcut to the taskbar. Try the same thing with iTunes. If this does not work, try adding (PIN) of the program to the taskbar for all programs in the start menu.

  WOW! Looks like a lot of people have the same problem.

  I did all the things recommended to get this update icon on my computer running Windows 7 Pro., I bought this computer because it came with an upgrade to 8.1 Windows Windows 7 should be discontinued.

  I have asked this question to MS on their help page and have not received answers, what will happen if I can't get Windows 10 without this icon of booking process?

  The fastest way to get the upgrade is to download the ISO.  Year ISO is like a dvd in order to to use, you need to right click > go up.  Start the upgrade of Windows.

• How can I disable the "hand-with-a-pen-icon" in the seizure, drop-down menus and check boxes boxes in IE 10?

  How can I turn off the hand-with-a-pen-icon that appear in the entries of the form (for example, text boxes, drop-down menus and check boxes) in IE 10? I'm running updated Windows 7, 64-bit desktop with without a touchscreen. I have the Wacom tablet with a pen, but I disabled the handwriting feature in Windows.

  And also how to disable query points that appear in the scroll bars in the browser? Sometimes the mark points will blink, then this hand-with-a-pen-icon appears between. It does not appear in other browsers or programs and its was not in IE 9.

  -It is very annoying, especially when dealing with checkboxes and drop-down menus, I know never it is checked or not. --

  Same problem here.
  I have w7 x 64 office services and tablet and writing are disabled.
  However, I see the shit 'hand with a pencil icon' in all the check boxes and drop down menus.
  It is not even recognizable on small boxes and is a total bore.
  I run my desktop PC with w7 x 64 for over a year and the symbol appeared after I've upgraded to IE10.
  I couldn't find an appropriate solution in the links provided in this thread, and I hope that it will be a good solution soon.

  Meanwhile, I think that I found the real cause.
  I had turned off the segue UI fonts during the day even when I updated to IE10.
  Strange as appears only in IE10 I assumed it it was due to the update.
  As explained in this thread that it is obviously a police problem well.

  I still have not solved not satisfactory, but at least I now know the cause.

  to do my reading sharper, I had turned off cleartype according to http://www.davidjnice.com/articles/windows7_fonts.html
  I'm now setting replace to

  "Segoe UI Symbol (TrueType)"="seguisym.ttf" and voila, the handwriting symbol in IE10 is gone again.

  I have a strange behavior with the dock in macOS Sierra, especially with the "System Preferences" icon After you open the system preferences application, the icon was his suddenly replaced by another icon (see image below). It looks like a Doc App icon?

  There is no option "Hey Siri" on a Mac because they do not have the necessary pickups. You must use the icon in the menu bar or Dock.

  I just upgraded to Sierra and discovered that move file icons became very slow.   Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.  I see your message that you met some slowness during the management of files on your MacBook Pro, since you upgraded to macOS Sierra.  I know that personally, I want to be able to move, copy, and back up things quickly, without a lot of spinning Rainbow cursor to run, so I can see why you've posted.  I'd be happy to help you.

  When my MacBook behaving this way, I found a System Management Controller (SMC) reset helped.  If you are not familiar with how to do this reset, see the following link:
  Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

  If you always see the same behavior after this reset, then start in safe mode can tell you if a program or process could be the cause of the delay.  Follow the instructions here and test your functions copy/move while that started in safe mode: macOS Sierra: start in safe mode

  If your MacBook Pro works fine in safe mode, reboot normally and check to see if the problem has been resolved.

  I have the same problem since I installed Sierra (2 days ago)

• Trails of the icon when switching between desktops in the Sierra

  I noticed some display problems since the update for Sierra. I see some trails icon when switching between desktop computers as well as a line of 1px of random colors on the right side of the screen seems to be leftover pixels for the desktop switch as well.

If I go into the Time Machine to restore the system will delete the security of password I put in place after the last Time Machine backup?

  I understand that you are no longer able to control the audio output on your Mac after installing a few different security applications. If you want to use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac at one point before installing these applications, it is absolutely an option. However, keep in mind that this kind would remove, indeed, any changes made after the point of this backup, including installation and configuration of said software.

  You do not press and hold.  You press VERY briefly until the icons wiggle and X in the upper right corner.  You can remove the application.  Not all applications (for example, settings, photo, Messages, pictures, clock) can be deleted.
