• MovieClip stop - without anywhere stop() action!

  Sorry, it's long, but interesting. And only the description is long, the problem itself is really very simple.
  
  I downloaded the .fla at this URL: http://hasenstein.com/TMP/FLA/
  
  To navigate to the place of boredom - (A) in the * running * application:
  -Start.
  -Click on Start and wait the 3 anim to move.
  -Move the mouse over the "Default system settings" area and click. A short explanation window opens with a "Show more" button
  -Click on this button.
  
  RESULT: the screen becomes more 'white' and you can see the actions of the trace numbers 1... somewhere. These track actions are in any other framework ot the MC that is causing the problem. You SHOULD see numbers 1... 8, but I get 1... 4 and earlier 1... 6 only - the stop() action, however, is on the frame that has the (8) sign on it!
  
  I use this.stop () everywhere because I subclassed Movieclip and does the MCs of this subclass classes (the code for this is provided in the URL above, there is very little). What is 'capture' all stop or play calls and set an internal variable _isPlaying, but does nothing else, it calls super.stop () (etc), so it is transparent and not the reason for the observed behavior. I've had stocks of trace in the methods of the class, and none were ever called when I saw the problem, so no stop() is called on the MC! Back to why I use this.stop (): I found if I use stop() the MC-stop() method is not called, it seems that the global stop() command is independent of MovieClip.stop () (strange, too, I think that I don't really want to Exchange places with the person to develop "enterprise level applications" with Actionscript, too strange side effects that may not have explained)
  
  Moreover, it should not work at all, there's a stop() on frame 1. If I remove the stop(); I see exactly the same behavior, only that now during the jump in the _parent frame, when this MC is initialized, it works too - all the way to track 8-action! And he still doesn't get there when gotoAndPlay (1) is called. VERY VERY VERY strange behavior indeed (I understand that the MC runs without the stop when the parent MC container gets to the frame where this MC is instantiated, but not why it works to stop action then but not when it's supposed to).

  -After opening, go to section 3 (of 3), double click on the scene (the MC to enter in fills 100%).
  -Then goto frame 69 (one with an 'a' in the AS layer after image 1), the 'General' label for the frame (on the layer 'LIKE', my actionscript, one in the foreground layer).
  -double click anywhere on the scene (here again the MC in question is screen filling 100%), to enter into mc 'general1_1_demo' (instance of MC general1_1')
  
  This MC is started by a button action Scene 1-> Options dialog box-> 1 1 (it: "Show more" button, only here, in the 'window' (it's a varnish) 'System default') with ' _parent.general1_1_demo.gotoAndPlay (1);
  
  How it works (cordially): the action of the button we (release) also calls a function that starts to load a flv to FLV-Player (standard). That flv has benchmarks. The cue points trigger - via the cue point event listener in main.as (provided under the URL above) - gotoAndPlay () - jumps to the marked frames. Labels to move to is stored in the cue point parameters. This makes Exchange audio and even change the layout by changing the order of the sections, a question to change the audio file (I have no video stream in the .flv). I do not provide a .flv here, because it is not necessary to test my problem, but if you do not want to see a fully functional version of this sort of thing take a look at http://letexa.com/courses/7/ (now also somewhere on http://open-xchange.com/) or on the other (rare) examples on this site (fresh).

  Never mind--I traced even more carefully and found I forgot I'm getting a seek-event immediately after loading the flv - a finished, and in the management of events seek function, I stop the entire timeline with the MovieClipWithIsPlaying pauseTimeline command.

  So everything is natural and clear now, and I look stupid. But describing the problem to others always helps me clear my mind - so far I have * always * been able to solve my own (often complicated) problems myself after describing here ;-)

• FPGA loop is not executing

  This seems to be my weekend for stupid problems. Here's another. I built this loop to run on an FPGA. For some reason, it won't work. You can see an obvious reason for that?

  Make absolutely sure that the overall JUDGMENT is false until the loop runs.  Personally, I never want to stop FPGA loops so I wire always a constant.  If digital data is never WRONG you will be stuck forever like the inside while loop relies on the global stop or what seems to be a registry change comparing to > 100, but you never increment the value.  I hope this help, one of them is probably the issue.

  My program is 35 high and wide enough level VI.   During execution of the program that I pop up a windows progress bar that displays the current status, with this screen comes a Cancel button.  When a user cancels the task, is to force the program to stop execution immediately without leaving the program anyway?  I have a lot of for and while loops, is there a quick and easy way to put an end immediately to all tasks / break all the loops? Thank you

  So, to be a good always ask the purest LabVIEW code regardless of the work to achieve these I have to answer "NO, not an easy way." You need to find all of the loops, your code can be busy in and edit them to monitor a stop indicator, check the State of a button on the GUI, etc.. This is where a good design avoids the situation I think I hear you describe.

  But if I pass hats fashionable 'hacker' I suggest you look at a 'stop' * and "quit LabVIEW" * functions available in the palette 'application Control '. But I don't recomnd these functions and prefer implmement a global stop flag.

  * Depending on the application and its equipment with what happens when a VI is abandoned, you shoule EXPECT to have to manually kill the process of LV occationally, then wait time re - start to operate again, so Please do not use one of these methods to shut down an application that is running.

• UMI lock problem

  I have a configuration that is moved from one place to the other and I can't make it work more.

  Setup is a controller PCI-7330, an UMI-7772, a pilot for the series P7000 on axis 1 (currently not connected) and a pilot custom on axis 2.

  The issue seems to be with the intelock, since this LED on the UMI-7772 turn so the axis DISABLE the LED will remain lit.

  When I test the controller, it passes the test, when I initialize it I get an OK message and the "stop" box is not checked in the settings of my controller. I tried a few connect/disconnect the controller throttle cable and sides UMI, but the lock light is ON. I also tried with my emergency position switch and disconnect the connector global stop.

  Any idea or suggestion on what might be the problem?

  Ben,

  the interlock LED should indicate that the tension of the bus host (+ 5 V) is not present. Typically, this means that the PC is not enabled. In your case, this seems to indicate a hardware problem with either the 7330, the 7772 or cable.

  Please check for pins twisted and if you connect the cable correctly. Indeed the cable pins high densities motion are robust enough, but with a decent amount of force, it is possible to plug the cable into the connector on the reverse.

  If this is not the cause of your problem, you should try to follow signal V + 5 of the connector on the Board until the end of the cable. If you do not find the source of the problem, please try to switch the different components of the system, but of course, this is possible, if you have the same type spare components.

  If nothing works, you should contact your local branch of NOR. Maybe they can lend you a Board, a cable and a UMI, so you might find the broken component.

  We are seeing behavior where a BPEL process is taken to a webservice on several occasions. The webservice this is shooting is back. In this case, we want the process BPEL rollback as well. What, in my view, that is happening, it is the BPEL process is dehydrated due to hit a waiting activity and this broke the overall transaction. The BPEL keeps waking up and re - run service.
  
  Firstly, is it logical that dehydration BPEL is what causes the repeated resubmission of the service?

  2 WS called restoration where your BPEL process must / will rollback

• Videos of YouTube suddenly stop and restart only in Firefox

  Last night around 20:00 I watched a video without problem, Youtube closed my browser and did other things for a while. When I got home at about 22:00 and tried to watch another video, the video suddenly stopped a few seconds, gave me "an error occurred" then suddenly the video began again to the place he stopped but now it was a small hook to the start/stop point (see attached image). This wouldn't be a problem if it happened once in a while, but since last night, it happens with ALL videos regardless of the length or quality.   Tried all above, but no change. I do not understand the error messages so did some research on Google and find how to go to Finder > go > computer > Alt - Go library > Thunderbird > profile > global-messages - db.squite

  and folder global-messages - removed db.squite and Thunderbird then re - indexes all emails that it sorted. Thus, global research and then now I looking for specific folder as well as the quick filter research more research in Edit.

• Thunderbird has stopped working

  Count 08/04/2014 Thunderbird has stopped working in my PC somehow. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro x 64. Before that day, everything was ok and Thunderbird was not working. I asked a few friends using Windows 8 and they have the same problem. Thunderbird load e-mail accounts and will not send and receive all of the emails. It won't even add a new e-mail account. This is the message received when you try to add a new account "sorry - we are unable to communicate with our server subscription. Please check your connection. ». If we're going to try to go forward and add a new account anyway the answer will also be that Thunderbird can not connect to any server. We have uninstalled Thunderbird and install several times in the last days without success. I was trying to delete the folder Thunderbird of the t in Program files, but I can't. Uninstall it and install new procedure including the deletion of folder was a solution a few years but it seams that now no longer works.

  Over the last 2 weeks Thunderbird started working only for a few hours and we have the same problem again. I asked about 10 people working with Thunderbird and they have the same problem right now and they have had the same problem during the month.

  Of course I turned off windows firewall and test if Thunderbird will work, but it was not a solution. I am running windows 8.1 Pro x 64. Thunderbird is not on the list of authorized or unauthorized software through the firewall, and I can't find any option to add the Thunderbird to the list to try to resolve the problem.

  I use BitDefender Antivirus and I disabled the BitDefender firewall and the same thing happens. I also disabled the whole antivirus functions after and the same thing. I turned from bot windows firewall and firewall BitDefender or off all BitDefender and the same thing happens. I checked the BitDefender firewall and the Thunderbird has full access.

  Also, I checked the Windows updates. I am not usually accommodate updates in my PC. I remember I have choose to not install Microsoft updates ever. I checked the State and he is near the top is not to install Microsoft updates. I also checked the "update history" and empty status is "you have not tried to install updates on your computer.

  I started windows 8.1 Pro x 64 in safe mode with network and started Thunderbird while windows is in safe mode, and it has the same problem.

• TB stopped to retrieve new messages and try to "reconfigure" my account to correct the problem, now, I lost my old messages.

  [15/04/14 edit #3] I posted the troubleshooting information and make a backup of profiles with MozBackup, so my problem is the presence of two inboxes, both to receive messages, and my not be sure we can safely be removed nor how to remove safely.
  [14/04/14 edit #2] Help of you bird taught me where my 'profiles' are stored but I found that I had no backup of their. However, I find now that I have TWO inboxes - had not noticed this before oddity. Fortunately, one of them contains again all my old posts! The Inbox that has still all my old messages is listed as a subfolder under "Local Folders" and the Inbox I thought was that my only Inbox is listed as a subfolder under the folder albums whose name is my email address. Two inboxes are now recover my new mail. Does this mean that I have somehow created two accounts? If so, how can I get rid of the account that uses the Inbox that has all my old messages inside? I don't want to get rid of the wrong account, but I suspect that the "right" should be listed under my email address, not covered by 'Local Folders'. If anyone understands this mess I created, I'd appreciate some tips so that I don't make things worse. At least, I have now learned what it is I need to back up.

  [14/04/14 Edition #1] This is a major update of the problem I described earlier (see below). I disabled the part Mail shield of my antivirus software Avast free and discovered that TB was again able to recover my email. Then I re-enabled Avast to see if it blocked again TB. He did not. So, apparently simply light shield mail out of Avast and back again seems to have solved the problem. However, there's now the consequences of my having tried to "reset" TB which is described below, namely the loss of a very large number of emails that have been stored in my Inbox. So the problem is I would like to get help is how to recover these apparently lost emails. If they stay on my hard drive, should TB to store and what specific files I look for? I do not have a backup of some of my drive hard (but), but I need to know how to identify them, where to look and how to get back to my Inbox without deleting its current content. I would really like to also retain their original, if possible dates. I'm under 64-bit Windows 8.1. [end edit on 14-04-14]

  TB suddenly stopped downloading my mail today. When I click Get Mail, I can see the screen very fast succession of messages; first the message "connected...". «, then «check...» ", then"download 1 of 10... ". ", and finally,"No message to download"after downloading absolutely none of them. I also noticed that my list of mailboxes not the entry of first showed my e-mail address as account name. Find that something important must have been changed in the setup of my account, I went through all the settings but didn't see any problem. Finally, I decided to try to restore my account even. Who did place my email address again back at the top of the list of mailboxes mailbox as my work account name, but he also created an even more serious problem.   I managed to recreate the same question.

  It's what, in my view, has occurred.

  The account that puts e-mails in local folders is set up as a global Inbox account.

  The account which has its own mail, mailbox is a classic e-mail account.

  When you created the global account to the Inbox, you have not restarted Thunderbird before you download, so the same e-mail is downloaded in the two accounts.

  E-mails currently in the global Inbox - Local folders Inbox is not deleted if you delete the account. but do not immediately.

  Please look under "Tools" > "account settings".
  You see two accounts with the same name using the same email address? I noticed you have account 2 and account 5 using different servers, but maybe the same e-mail address?

  Select the 'server' settings account 2 and click the button "Advanced".

  We have installed the latest version of the client to Sonicwall Global VPN on the Toshiba Portege z10t with a Telstra Sim card inside.

  When we connect to our office, in the step acquired IP, stopping the process there.
  If we use a Telstra 4 G Wireless router, it works perfectly.
  Apparently, there is something of the z10t that blocks the process.

  Someone had the same problem?
  We have upgraded the bios and drivers on the z10t, but without success.
