My laptop has 32 MB graphics card I was wondering how I would improve my Vram to 64. What I do how would be, where would it be and what I have to install?

    Thank you

To my knowledge, the Satellite P20 S203 was delivered with a nVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 32 MB of video ram. But this isn't a shared memory graphics card!
In this case, you cannot change the settings of video ram.

In addition he s is not possible to upgrade or replace the graphics card. Unfortunately, there is nothing to see ;(

  • How to change the graphics card on the 15 new

    Hello world

I just got my new alienware 15 and I can't seem to use the nvidia card instead of intel because "fn + f7" no longer exists in this system and some options are provided in the bios.

Does anyone know how to go the nvidia card in the new system of 15?

Make sure you have the latest nVidia and Intel drivers installed.  I noticed the same problem on my 15 when I've seen, but resolved as soon as I updated.  I suggest that you install Intel drivers first, and then the nVidia drivers.  So if really don't know the issues, but that's what I did and it works like a charm.

  • Qosmio F750 - how to change the graphics memory dedicated to 2 GB...

In order to get my Qosmio F750 ready to run some games, I've updated all the drivers on via the toshiba Web site and the NVIDIA site also the software downloading. This includes upgrading the BIOS to version 2.00.

According to the [laptop specifications given on the Toshiba site | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/products/computers/qosmio/f750/pqf75a-02y00q/specifications].

I should have the following allocation of memory for the graphics:
"4095 MB Total: 2048 MB of memory dedicated + 2047 MB shared memory.

When I check the window Information on the performance and tools, I'm getting shows the following information:

    Graphics
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Display type card Intel(r) HD Graphics 3000
Total available graphics memory: 1 696 MB
    Dedicated graphics memory: 64 MB
    Dedicated system memory: 0 MB
    Shared system memory: 1632 MB
    Display adapter driver version: 9.18.13.1422
    The primary monitor resolution: 1366 x 768
    DirectX version: DirectX 10

Of course, when I look at the specifications of the laptop, I realize that the current graphic memory allocation matches the economy power Mode i.e. allocation of graphics when running on battery

Normally, it would be nice, however, I don't see any change in the displayed info even when I'm running on current alternative.
I checked all my power settings, but even when everything is set to "performance mode", the information displayed is the same.
I try to look in the system bios to change manually the graphical distribution but none this option doesn't exist. Rather all options are defined in performance mode...

So my final question is, * how can I change memory allocation performance mode graph as it is stated in the specifications of the system? *
Is this something that happens automatically without changing the displayed Info?
Is there a driver that I forgot to update? An update of the driver caused cela?
    A BIOS update caused this?

On a side note, the audit of the DirectX Diagnostic tool, I have the version of directx is displayed as version 11. So I thought that the problem was with the displayed information. But even on the Diagnostic tool gives me the same information.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this.

    Thank you
    Jean-Pierre

    Hello

This is controlled automatically by the graphics driver.
If the application that is running would require more RAM (IE game), the graphics card would control this value and I would add some of the memory to the memory of the graphics card.

    Hello

I m not very well what you want to do?  :|
You want to change the resolution of your laptop screen?

I assume you have an XP operating system.
If you can make them using two different ways.

    (1) go to-> graphic display Manager Control Panel Intel-> in one available tabs, you can change the display settings

    (2) using a second way to make a right click on the desktop-> properties-> settings tab
There is also a setting to change the display resolution.

  • How to change the graphics BIT DEPTH in the casting director? 32-bit to 8-bit?

How to change the depth of the image of Member on a 32-bit to 8-bit cast?

Imagine that you have an image in the castmember, named "yourface.
You have checked the depth in the message box:
    put member("yourface").depth
    -32

    EASY and SUCCESSFUL but:

Changing from 32-bit to 8-bit BY DIRECTOR

Edit > convert to 8-bit bitmap > framing
You will see the image easily changed to 8-bit image.
    BUT IT'S NOT SCRIPTING

    SCRIPTS:

    Member ("yourface"). Depth = 8
Error! You cannot set this property!

I tried to do a blank image to 8 bits, then copypixel 32-bit image in one, but my face become RED and GREEN.

How to make the script and have the GOOD RESULT YOU modify > convert to 8-bit bitmap > dithering? Thank you for your help.

Copy of pixels has the property of dithering. Here are a few notes on this topic:

Using the option to dither with copypixels.

The copypixels command can accept a property of #Dither option. The two valid values for this property that I know are 1215 and 1969.

    anImage.copyPixels (img, aRect, aRect, [#dither: 1215])

    anImage.copyPixels (img, aRect, aRect, [#dither: 1969])

  • How to upgrade the graphics card with t500 20896kg

    Hello

I've been misled by some tests to the conclusion, that all the t500 would have this incredible "switchable graphics" and Announces. Ruse, simply create a good product and then 70 different versions with a lot less stuff inside - everyone will buy it, which is not a complete hardware nerd and knows all the numbers and things. In any case, I'm the fool who bought the T500 WITHOUT any graphics at all because Intel x4500HD is obviously not the use of a graphics card, he just pretended a. Not Fallout 3, no 'empty' (graph sucks pretty well, even if no laptop with an older map should have problems with it), no nothing.

It doesn't mean ANY modern game at all, 771,2 Mo 'RAM' Intel X4500HD or not - you know before or pay huge sums for games that do not work have Forum-Nerds laugh their bootys away on a silent client who fell the tricks of Lenovo (and Intel).

Yes, rantings side: is it possible to upgrade the T500 20896 kg - that goes without graphics card - with a real graphics card, would be the choice to choose and how do I insert it?

    Thank you

PS: by the way, someone had some effort with this lenovo-windows-update action? has attracted money, never had no reminder or shipping.

So I can't install a graphics card in a docking station? I've heard, the docking station for the thinkpads Lenovo offer a slot for graphics cards, but I don't know if that would be sufficient for the games and if it works at all.

It won't be enough for the games, this beneficial configuration for those wishing to connect multiple monitors to their thinkpads.

Another question: if I sell mine, I have to buy a higher resolution screen if I decrease the resolution to a degree which allows ergonomic office work? And what exactly is the LED backlight? Is this really a LED monitor or just some add-on fancy?

Laptop monitors the work of the best on the native resolution, but it will not be so bad. Backlit by LED is not a fancy add-on, your cell phone screen is an example of backlit, while not being used it obscures first itself, then turns off, see the procedure for good links learn what it is: -.
