Try reading the article sites look bad or appear differently than they should. Go through all the steps there and we'll see if they do not help. Also make sure that you have all the Windows updates and also try to update your graphics card driver (updating your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL has help on how to do this).

If it still does not work, try to create a new profile, use the Profile Manager to create and delete profiles Firefox. He will have none of your information in it (don't worry, it's all still there), but it gives us an opportunity to check if it produces by default Firefox. If it works in the new profile, we can migrate your information from your old profile to your new on reading data from an old profile recovery

  • Why can't we simply have an option to turn Javascript on the sites again in the settings of Firefox 27? All of a sudden my Gmail attachments will not be opened. Gmail.

All of a sudden my Gmail attachments have stopped opening, and I got the message: JavaScript must be enabled so that you can use Gmail in standard mode. However, it seems that JavaScript is disabled or not supported by your browser. To use standard view, enable JavaScript by changing your browser options, then try again.

I found a Mozilla support thread where he explained that Javascript has been disabled for a while OK and next... Then, there was a complicated answer about how you could always turn it back on by typing in a code to config in the address bar. What? Or, you can download an extension to do this for you. Why?

Please - if you really feel that users can not be trusted, and Javascript must be turned off, at least bring back the ability to turn Javascript on or off, on a basis by site in the options, without having to know the code. It's Gmail.

    Thank you.

Thank you, guys. OK, thinking about has no sense. So I decided to solve all aspects. I think now that several attachments, sent to me by a client are corrupted to its end. Open attachments from several other people! So sorry to waste your time and very sad I lost many of my friends. I think this thread should be deleted. Thanks again.

  • Z5 will not Gmail attachment download / app updates / PDF files in Chrome

    Hello

My phone will only download Gmail attachments or app updates from the game store or any file to pdf from any webpage using Chrome, when I am connected to Internet via mobile, it works with 2 g / 3 g / 4 g.

I am online and can browse with chrome, open emails or research in the game store but when I start to download it takes just forever and, finally, the download is canceled.

When I'm online in any WiFi, it works fine.

Phone and apps to have the latest updates installed. Download via mobile is activated in the game store.

    Any idea?
Thanks and greetings to Hamburg in Germany.

Hi and thanks for your suggestion.

Unfortunately, it did not work. I have reset the default device, and now it seems to work correctly.

  • Firefox will not save preferences & crashes when opening files

Two main issues here, but they can be linked together somehow.

First Firefox always wonder if I want to contribute to send performance data every time I open the browser. I followed all the advice in the article 'FF won't save my preferences' and vain. I have now uninstalled FF and deleted all traces (Inc. in hidden folders). Now re-installed, it does exactly the same thing and now won't save my homepage either.

Secondarily, firefox always crashes when I try and import and export bookmarks without fail. Also often crashes when you press a button download, for example gmail attachments files or post image Facebook to file. This has happened for some time and is still, even after wiping everything...

Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but make sure not to copy corrupted files.

  • Firefox crashes when I pressed the Browse button to upload files

Windows 7 x 32 Firefox 10.02 the program crashes constantly when I press the Browse button (such as gmail attachments, virustotal programs and so on.)
PS I've already eliminated the registry problems and attempted to delete MRU registry, such as mentioned in this topic: https://support.mozilla.org/ru/questions/754368#answer-105628

Cor - el will no doubt come with suggestions. I will list the accident report Details incase they help someone. The accident occurred when a component associated Windows is in use. Have you ensured you have no background task running, and no unnecessary plugins Firefox are running.

No reason to expect to be directly related, but a previous incident with the same signature took place when bookmarks were used, and the solution in this instance was:

I found out that an option in Microsoft File Explorer caused the crash.
    To solve this:
    - Go to "Organize"
    - Choose "Folder and search options"
    - uncheck "Automatically expand to current folder"

     Now Firefox won't crash again!

Your reports for s CrashID all have the same signature

When I printed out them, copies were biased and the text was missing from the right side. I adjusted the borders in the printing configuration. It made no difference. Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • Gmail in firefox will not open the file selection window when adding attachments, no errors, just nothing. Chrome works fine on the same computer. Firefox is updated

When you try to attach files to a message using gmail does not. I click on the paperclip icon and no windows open, show no errors, it just sitting there? I can't join the messages as expected using Chrome & gmail on the same computer.

I cut and restarted the computer without modification. I current firefox [v31] and the computer is a dell desktop running Windows Vista Home Premium SP 2 build 6002.

    Thanks for your help

Google has fixed this problem with attachments in Gmail, on their side, so this should work without the workaround to allow pop ups for mail.google.com.

  • Firefox gmail cannot have attachments. Icon does not respond. Why?

I send my job as an email with the word document attached. Trombone poster icon "send a file" when I executed the cursor on it, but don't respond when I clock top to start the process of attaching a file.
It's also show as icon lightly colored when others are darker color.
I tried this on two different computers with the same answer. Also restarted the computer nothing works.
Is it me or the program?
    Gmail referred me to Firefox.
    Thanks for any help.

If you cannot add attachments to messages from Gmail then you need to add an exception permit to allow pop ups for this site from Google (mail.google.com).
Easier to do this is to click on the padlock on the address bar and click on the "More information" button to open the window "tools > Page Info" with the Security tab is selected.
    Go to the permissions tab
Remove the tick on 'Pop-up Windows' > 'Default' and click Allow radio button to change the permission to allow pop-ups for the domain mail.google.com .

  • I have just noticed that the function drop and drag for attachments stopped working in Yahoo and Gmail. Is it because of Firefox?

I am currently using Firefox 19. Last week, I found that, in the Yahoo and Gmail, I can't attach files using drag and drop; I used no drag and drop for a little while if I can't say that it began with a particular Firefox update. Unlike some FF16 users I have no problem dragging autour tabs in the browser. I know that in the past, certain issues with attachments were obviously related to the browser and so the reason why I consider that this link now. I use Windows XP SP3.

    Tylerdowner, hi.

Thanks for your reply, but remembering the cause of a problem attach previous many Firefox users had at the time of FF13 related to implementation network.http.spdy.enabled to 'true' I decided to check again in this parameter: config.

To solve my problem at the time I, like others, changed the setting SPDY of the "true" to "false", and what I found was not changed automatically with the latest versions of FF. I found, however, that there are now two other parameters SPDY v2 and v3, which were set to 'true '. In case they were in conflict with the first setting to "false", I changed this last to 'true' also. This is I went back to Gmail and tried to attach files, first under the normal procedure by clicking the attachments and selection of a file in the dialog box, which worked (previously on 'true' it had not worked); Second, I tried to fix with the help of drag / drop, now works. I also found that drag & drop in Yahoo also work.

Thus, a conflict between the SPDY versions could have the cause of the problem when network.http.spdy.enabled has been set to 'false '?

If the problem persists I'll let you know. (I've attached a snapshot of the current settings).
