Go to the first tab Alt - 1 does not

For Firefox in Kubuntu 15.04 40. (installed costs) to go to the first tab with Alt-1 behavior no longer works.
He has worked in previous versions of Firefox.

This problem only happens "Alt - 1', Alt-2 and thus now work as expected."

I guess the Linux operating system has supported the shortcut Alt + 1, and it is not Firefox.

  • The shortcut Ctrl + Alt + C does not work in InDesign CS6.

The shortcut Ctrl + Alt + C does not work in InDesign CS6. I don't have an ATI video card, the shortcut key is not related to the center of catalyst.

I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 video card and I reinstalled Windows 7 x 64 three weeks ago. Since then, the shortcut Ctrl + Alt + C does not work.

I tried to reinstall the program. I tried to clean the preferences file. Yet, nothing is done. I googled if there other programs that could take the shortcut for themselves. The InDesign menu says that the Ctrl + Alt + C is linked to the action "was". But nothing happens.

If you have any suggestions on what do I do to fix this, please help.

P.S.: before the reinstall, everything works great.

But no. I think I thought it somehow.

I just reinstalled the CS6 InDesign from scratch, as stated in the above post. Just as new as possible. And he was always in trouble. Then I disabled the two automatic startup items:

Broadcom 802.11 Network adapter wireless Tray Applet

    and

    Driver Logitech SetPoint.

After that, everything is back to normal.

I guess that one of them had caught the hotkey without mentioning, so that should be the fault. I don't think that other programs (with the exception of Adobe) have the same key as InDesign links.

P.S.: Just restarted each disabled program and it's Broadcom 802.11 Network adapter Wireless Network Tray Applet that shows problems with the keys.

So, thanks for trying to help me solve my problem.

If anyone else has trouble with the keys and they have this specific bin running applet, better turn it off to be sure. In the Windows Task Manager, it is called C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WLTRAY. EXE.

  • Try to get the first sentence only - code does not

It makes me crazy - code works on a single page, but not on another, and I can't understand why. The code I use to get out of the first sentence of a field is as follows:

    < cfset variables.firstsentence = Find (".", #get_spotlight.description #) >

    < cfoutput query = "get_spotlight" >
    < p > < #title # < br / >
    #Left (description, variables.firstsentence) # (< a href = "database_spotlight.cfm? link_id = #link_id #" > learn more < /a >) < /p > < / cfoutput >

    It works here: http://www.richland.lib.sc.us/research.cfm

I try to use the same code on another similar page, and the same code does not work. It takes only the first 40 characters or more and I don't know why. I guess it's something to do with the surrounding code, but I don't see what. Can someone enlighten us on that before go me crazy?
    Here's the page I'm working on: http://www.richland.lib.sc.us/sample/linkstest6.cfm?subjecttype_id=16
And here's all the code (in case something else is causing the problem)

    < cfquery name = "get_links()" datasource = "links_1", dbtype = "ODBC" >

    AND subjecttype.subjecttype_id = subject.subjecttype_id

    ORDER BY title
    < / cfquery >

Thank you for reading this day and for any help or suggestion.

YES! That's all--woohoo! Thank you very much. In addition, this explains why the same piece of code works on another page - this page I only shot one record instead of many. I looked up the ListFirst function and I understand that - but I never would have thought it myself.

Thank you very much for coming up with the answer - and thanks to everyone who took the time to try it - I really appreciate it.

    Hi Michelle,

If I'm right, then it is a simple problem. The simplest are good. :)

    That's what you have:

    <>

    #Left (description, variables.firstsentence) # (read more...)

What you have done is in the position of the period off the first record in the data base by base and then applied to all records in the database. So you're cutting posted on 40 every time, because you will find that the first record in the database should be cut to the 40 position. Instead, you simply calculate the position each time inside the loop. In addition, we will just go ahead and make it even easier by using ListFirst...

    <>

    #ListFirst (description, ".") # (read more...)

That should do it. By the way, if you really want the period appear (which I imagine you do), then just use:

    #ListFirst (description, ".") #.

    Instead of

    #ListFirst (description, ".") #.

  • I click on the new tab, and it does not open

I click on the + to a new tab and nothing happens no new tab.

Uninstall the toolbar Ask and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask and Firefox toolbar that prevents the opening of new tabs.

There are a few places to check for the Ask toolbar:

  • Dynamic links between the first Pro and AE does not

I had this problem where dynamic link is grayed out in the menu of Premiere Pro, when I try to link a clip to AE. It's the same thing the opposite (i.e. of the AE at first), and also "replace it with after effects Comp" is grayed out as well. I'm using the CC (not CC 2014) version, so it should work?

    Thanks for your help!

These versions are compatible.  I would expect it to work.

Try to update the latest versions for all programs.

  • Tracking of movement on the first 10 elements mode does not work.

I am trying to attach the words of a moving object in first 10 elements. I already follow an object and has an orange box around him that travels with the object. Now I want to join him the words, but when I drag a title on the box, nothing happens. I managed once before with this, and it seems that you need to get the box orange to be blue by clicking on it in a certain way. However, I was not able to get this box to be blue, so I can't join him words.

    Thank you!

As I said, this feature may or may not work with these images.

  • When you use the Clone Stamp tool CS6 the alt key does not work?

Just recently, my mouse have misbehaved and touched my CS6 when I was working on a photo. The result, my alt key does not work. For example, when I use the Clone Stamp tool, I can't sample as the alt key does not work. Even in ACR, the alt key does not work. When I drag the 'white' to the left while pressing the ALT key, the screen turns black.

    Help, please? Thank you

    Steven Teo

    Hi Steven Teo,

You are able to use the ALT key well otherwise on your computer?

You can try to reset the Clone Stamp tool.

To reset, follow the instructions below:

    1. Select the Clone Stamp tool

    2. right click / Control click dropdown at the top left

    3. choose Reset tool

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards

  • Why the first tab is not having option close

When multi tab open all the tab meet option for closing but when we begin to close the tab to the right and reach the first tab it does not display an option to close the tab

When you get down to a single open tab, you cannot close this tab. If you want to close this tab, you must close any Firefox window.

  • If I want to open the Web site in a second tab and press Ctrl + T and start typing the title of the website or the URL, why Firefox 4 insists on moving to the first tab? Is it possible to disable this option?

I regularly need to open the same Web site in two tabs, to be able to view the changes between the first and the second opening tabs. In Firefox 3.x I could press Ctrl + T and start typing the URL or Web site title, which would be part by Firefox. This allowed me to open quickly the same website in a second tab Firefox 4 does not, on the contrary, he wants me to switch to the existing tab. This isn't what I need.

Of course, it is possible to open the Web site in a second tab through for example a bookmark, but it takes more time and effort. It would be great if I could select the Firefox behavior in this situation.

If you have already opened this page in another tab and then you get a switch to tab appears in the location bar menu drop-down.

You can watch this extension to prevent that from happening:

  • The first tab in my browser always showed the loading and cannot close it, why?

    • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.
    • 'Delete Cookies' of sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the Add-ons is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

    • Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

    See:

If this does not work in mode without failure, then disable all extensions and then try to find out who is the cause by allowing both the problem reappears.

    • Choose "Disable all add-ons" on issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode to set window to disable all extensions.
    • Close and restart Firefox after each change through "file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave";) Linux: "file > exit ')
  • I CAN'T CLOSE THE FIRST TAB WHEN I GET SOMETHING OR CLOSE A TAB SECOND HE WON'T LET ME CLOSE THE FIRST TAB

I CAN'T CLOSE THE FIRST TAB, AFTER I TYPED IN A SEARCH

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

    == I UPGRADED TO 3.6

Is it possible that an extension is causing the problem?

Try to start Firefox in safe mode to disable all extensions to see if that fixes the problem. If it does, try disabling an extension at a time to see which one is causing the problem, and then turn it off for good and contact its author for support.

  • I have a lot of tabs saved to be able to open them when I open Firefox, but the first tab is always changing in my homepage, Google. Is it possible to stop this?

I always opened, 20 + tabs on Firefox and it is together to remember. However, when I open Firefox the first tab changes that I had opened it in my homepage, Google. I can use the thing "go back" to go to the page that I had there, but going back to Google every time I restart the browser that becomes tedious.

The only way to solve what I've found is to just stop trying to use the first tab and either Google. However, I want a real solution stop if possible.

Who are normal tabs or pinned tabs?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
