GO50-80: battery 80% available (plugged in, not charging)-energy management function
I have no idea why or how fix it. Previously, my battery does very quickly.
I messed up when I posted before. It is stuck at 56%. I noticed the power management feature is new to win like last week 10 and has probably improved on my machine so. This is why I had not seen that before I would say. I have dl had the driver of energy management last night and now I have a new battery indicator to start. Guess I'll have to worry not be stuck at 56%, as it's apparently normal now. Thanks for your comments.

Dear Sir
I'm having a strange problem. My laptop (HP DM3) shows "plugged in, not charging". I searched on the net and according to some expert instruction, I took out the battery, plugged, booted my laptop computer and since the Device Manager I uninstalled Microsoft ACPI compliant method control pile driver, then off, UN-pluged, inserted my battery, and then restarted again. My battery has shown that charge but after awhile it automatically installed stack method compatible ACPI Microsoft and my problem was back. Please give me a solution for this problem. I'm having extreme difficulties for her. Your kind response to the question mentioned will be highly appreciated.ConcerningMohapurushHi Mohapurush,
Compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery component supports the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) control method battery, include an interface to control method of code ACPI Machine Language (AML) between the battery and the host computer.
You can use any type of communication interface supported by ACPI and any type of battery because the battery interface is fully accessible by the AML code control methods.
Battery monitoring and management are available only on compatible computers ACPI and APM-enabled. Windows can handle the batteries that have a smart battery subsystem interface or interface of battery method of control on ACPI computers. Windows can also monitor several batteries.
I recommend you contact the manufacturers of the system and check the settings on your computer.

I checked the adapter cord and battery test that came back "ok".
Is it my laptop stop working once I have run out of battery even with the adapter cord? How can I fix the battery?

Satellite L450 - battery 18% available plugged says not supported ".
Laptop L450-181, is literally two years and two weeks! gutted... help!
Hello
It might be possible that your battery begins to malfunction
This may be possible with old batteries, as far as I know each battery begins to lose the performance after being accused of 400 - 600 times. But maybe you can recalibrate the battery once more, that you must discharge the battery until the 0% would be shown, then plug the AC adapter and begins to charge the battery until the battery led turn to (green or blue in some cases).
But if this is not possible, well, the battery should be replaced. -
My computer the battery does not charge. I bought a new battery and I changed the AC adapter but the battery still won't charge. This is the message I get:
0% available (plugged in, not charging) don't know why.Hello

Hello
Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.
Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter

Laptop didn't work when it's plugged in and the battery says "plugged in, not charging." Battery LED also flashes a few times from time to time, so I don't know if it's a circuit board problem or the battery itself.
I tried updated driver battery without success.
You can try to unplug the power and remove the battery. Press and hold power for 30 seconds, Plug and see if it is supported.

Re: Satellite C660 - 1 3 - number "plugged in, not charging."
Last year, I bought a portable Satellite C660 - 1 to 3 of the United Kingdom; even today, I'm using the factory settings and running the operating system originally installed Windows 7. Here's the question I started yesterday face to leave:
-Even when the battery is connected and the laptop running, the power meter shows a decline, with the notification level "plugged in, not charging." The orange LED keeps blinking-However, when I completely stopped the laptop, without touching anything anyone (not even touch the adapter or the power cord), the orange LED indicates the battery charging process stops flashing and becomes stable
-Turn the laptop, for about 1 minute or so, the battery seems to be loading (message of orange LED flashes do not and "clogged, load"). However, soon again the orange LED starts flashing and the message of nuisance comes once again to the top
A number of things:
-the battery seems to be working well and load properly when the laptop is stop (in fact, until a few days back, the battery used to show 02:30 hours of time available on 100% charge level)
is there a problem with the operating system? no idea on thatcan experts help me solve this problem? I really don't want to approach the Service because of the long distance involved.

-BirenHello Biren
Not sure if I can help you but I would like to give you some advice.
(1) check if your BIOS is up to date. If Toshiba driver European page provides a newer version, then update the BIOS. In addition, set the default BIOS by pressing F9 and save modified pressing F10.
(2) try to calibrate the battery. To calibrate the battery you completely discharge the battery and charge it again. Repeat 2-3 times in the line.
(3) remove the battery and the AC adapter and press the power button / stop (30 sec long) and then connect the two parts and check if the LED begin to blink. Finally, I think that the laptop needs to be tested using new, good battery to work. But if the issue still persists, then I guess that your motherboard might be affected.

Plugged in, not charging on 6% with windows 7 ultimate
Hello everyone
Hi have the same problem with the guys here.
I have a laptop Acer Aspire 5738 G with windows ultimate 7 installed.
I tried all the tricks on the forum as stop the computer, remove the battery, remove AC power, hold on the power button for 10-20 sec and replacement battery and does not work for me.
The message is 6% available (plugged in, not supported)
If I remove the ac computer automatically stop as if was a blackout... as if my battery wasn't there.
I tried the trick on this page, but does not work for me.
http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7performance/thread/d338d4c6-865a-49a3-8333-8c30e989a4f8
Is there any solution for this?
Thank you
The battery compartment is broken I had it before on an acer laptop and I rang acer support and they put in the new housing of the battery and it worked.
They said that a sector in the slot was broken.

Qosmio F55-Q502 - charging icon says: plugged in, not charging
I recently had my Qosmio F55-Q502 repaired by Toshiba.
Two issues have been addressed, and one is fixed. However, the second attempted to decide without success.
When I try to play multimedia games such as call of duty IV, even if the system is completely loaded, a few minutes the system will begin flashing the "Backlight" and then when I see the loading icon, he says: "plugged in, not charging.»
This really worries me because I read online many similar questions, but none of the solutions seem to work.
Having to reboot every time that happens and your in the middle of a game, really STINKS!
I even had what is happening with SimCity4 which is an old game.Any suggestions on this good?
Did they replace the battery when it was sent to which seems to be what most needs to be done.Hello
If your Qosmio laptop was being repaired, I think that you should not discuss any issue on the forums, but put a pressure on the service and specify every single problem with your laptop.
Please do because the warranty is still valid and it is now time to clarify everything.I am not an expert in hardware, but it sounds to me like some electronic power supply question but I can't say for sure. Speak with the service. Try to clarify this with them. Be nice, be cool and all will be ok.
