  Thanks for your reply, we used the same link for integration.

  But now we have solved the problem. The issue was with the version of Glassfish. It seems that report jasper is not compatible with the 4.1. So, we removed 4.1 Glassfish and install Glassfish 3.1. That solved the problem for us.

  Initially, the application was written in CVI 6.0. Now, I created a new project and workspace and adds all the files.

  The build works very well. But I get when a link (build) is the error message "error: input file is not an archive valid: 'c:\Projects\...\bin\i7000.lib'". ""

  With another library, I get the same problem: "uart.lib."

  The other just lib files work fine.

  I saw in an old post a solution: just to recreate the project I did. But it did not work in my case.

  I tried to build a simple project by calling a function of each of the libraries that you provided:

  Get_Uart_Version();
  FloatToHex (12.34);

  The project has been successfully building, there was no mistake in the linker. I tried with CVI 2013 and CVI 2013 SP2.

  You can try and see if such a simple project always gives the same error of link for you?

  If not, it is possible that the problem is not only a question of format library. You would have to try and simplify the project until you find the portion of code that triggers the error from the linker. As an alternative, you can send us your project and we can try to isolate the problem.

  2. empty the Temp folder:

  a. Click Start, point to programs, point to Accessories, point to system tools and then click on disk cleanup.

  b. click C: or click the drive where Windows XP is installed and then click OK.

  c. Click to select the temporary files check box.

  d. click OK and then click Yes to confirm the deletion.

• Error file not found in Temp. Firefox does not start

  When I try to start Firefox (Windows 8.1 desktop computer) I get a full white screen with only the following error message:

  File not found
  Firefox can't find the file at / c; /Users/ username/AppData/Local/Temp/name of file (more than fifty characters long, all the numbers and letters without anything that looks like a real word and ends in /BGAW05 .htm).

  It of only a button to Try Again that never works and some directions to verify the name of the error file, or check if the file has been moved, renamed or deleted. I check to see if the file is no where on C: and it doesn't. It is there no file in Temp even remotely close to that name. I run Firefox with several tabs that are registered and come back when I restart Firefox. So maybe this file in Temp was associated with a deleted tab.

  As I said, this error message comes up full screen, covering the taskbar and not reduce it, restore, close buttons, as if I was running in mode Metro, I never do and will never do.

  Because of this error I can not even start Firefox now, so I had to become a user of Internet Explorer.

  How can I get Firefox to stop looking for this file?

  Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  I found a solution to my problem. Looking in my info on solving computer problems, I noticed that some problems can be resolved by the administrator. I tried with Firefox and it worked. The only damage was that I lost the current tabs. But Firefox seems to work fine otherwise.

  While using the function in file to create a text file of some test results, I've noticed that if there is an error format on the error stream VI seems to work fine, but the Format of the file function is not actually write data to the file. I never noticed this behavior in Labview on any another function while if there is an error in this function does not work.   Maybe when you get the error, store what you were going to put in this file in memory or a temporary file.  Displays a dialog box that does not stop your program to tell people, don't not to open the file.  When your program detects the file is therefore more open giving the error, and then write about everything that you stored in the memory (or read about in the temp file and write) before adding the latest data to the file.

  I'm having a problem where, when I try to use reading worksheet VI in my RT Host Application, it returns error code 7 (can't find a file or folder does not exist) when it calls the function of file open/create/replace. The feature works very well when used in a standalone VI that is not part of the FPGA project and I made sure that my path is correct, but for some reason, it does not work in my FPGA application. I have placed sensors and ensured that the correct path to the file is linked to the input function but the error persists. The refnum output file returns 0, not "not A Refnum".
