Google calendars multiple synchronization to Smartphones blackBerry on my Storm

Hello... I am brand new here.  Please be nice!  For the record, I'm a technopeasant, so if you choose to help me, I need the little words that resemble English so that I do anything...

Thus, thrown on the new OS yesterday.  Am stuff pretty much back to normal.

My calendar, however, on the BB don't contain any of the info calendar of my wife.  I've been messing around, trying to figure out how to get him out there and I'm at my wits end.  I have Google sync on the BB, our calendars are synchronized on Google.  They have been synchronized before I did the upgrade of the OS.

Any ideas?  Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?

Thank you!!

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Google Sync is an application that manages data transfer between

Google programs. The Blackberry only "hosts" the receipt of the Goggle Sync program

the data passed to the application from Google. I would suggest you remove and then reinstall

the Google Sync application to restore synchronization on the Blackberry.

I would also check the settings of your main Google calendars online as well.

To remove the application from Blackberry:

At the homse screen, options, options, advanced applications, point culminating Googlesync don't click it.

Menu key, select Delete. I have always followed this by a battery pull or QuickPull reboot.

You don't need PC or Office Manager.

Let us know how it goes.

Thank you

Bifocals

No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

    Hello

However, I have a problem than anything either on PC Calendar syncs wirelessly with the device. But it does not work the other way (i.e. entry on device nopt sync with calendar on PC).

My ios THAT BES enabled devices.

Everyone else has had a similar problem... or more importantly, rather than a simple solution?

    Thank you

I had the same problem with mine.  It was a useful document of KB.

In the end, my timing problem origin because the BES was originally installed on the computer with a BESAdmin account but I later upgraded the Blackberry Manager software when connected under one administrator account.  This has led some of the services that run under administrator instead of BESAdmin BB.

I open the services console and manually changed all services to start under BESAdmin instead of the administrator and voila - perfect synchronization.  Give than to try and check out the KB document.

  • Contacts synchronization to Smartphones blackBerry and calendar - problems with Outlook Connector (and other things).

    Hello world

I just got my first BlackBerry (storm) and this is my first post on the forums.  I read around a lot and found pieces of this problem but no definitive answer (which I understand).  So, I know it's a delicate subject, but really hope that someone can help you.

FYI, I use Windows Vista and Outlook 2003 with the connector Outlook synchronize my e-mail, contacts and calendar on my Windows Live Hotmail account.

I installed the Desktop Manager software V.4.7 and crossed to set up > sync and selected Outlook for Contacts.  The wizard all seems to work OK but then when I press "Finish" I get the error message ' file is does more part of the system data source or the couldnot folder is located.

I partially understand the idea that my Contacts are not in Outlook, they are in my hotmail/live account.  My question is how can I work around this problem and import my contacts to the BlackBerry?  It will not accept an exported .pst file or can it link directly to hotmail?

(On the basis of the advice on the forum), I found is you go into Outlook and adjust the settings of your e-mail account to send incoming emails into "Personal folder" instead of "* @hotmail.co.uk ' then he manages to pass the error message, however, I found no data calendar or contact in my outlook personal folders for BlackBerry to synchronize with a time that I did."

I'll try to do a few requests on a Microsoft forum on the features between Outlook and Hotmail to see if there is an easy way to get my data anywhere in the personal folders so that the BlackBerry it can sync from there.  I'm afraid to lose emails or functionalitly to the Outlook Connector on my PC to subsequently change the default e-mail folder.

Sorry for the length of the message but thought the more detail the better - thanks in advance for any help you can offer,

    Al.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, I got a work around (not a solution, but it works).  In Outlook, go to Contacts - export to file and select: separation by comma (Windows). CSV file - save it to your PC.

Then open a Yahoo mail account (if you have not already one) go to Classic view, Contacts and to the right of the screen, there is an option to import/export.  Select the location of the CSV file you saved on your PC and transfer it on Yahoo.

You can now go through the DM Assistant and select sync with Yahoo.  It is ideal to add contacts to the phone for the first time.  Don't forget to make sure that everything is up-to-date and complete in Outlook Contacts before export to the CSV file.

If you want to add contacts to the future, the best way is to add to Outlook first and then go through the process of exporting the CSV file again - this will ensure that all records are the same.  Although if you wanted too, you can also export from BB in Yahoo, then in Outlook as Yahoo also exported contacts to a CSV file.

    Hope that helps someone...

    Al.

  • Calendars synchronization to Smartphones blackBerry wireless with Yahoo

    Hello

I use my Yahoo (Australia) email provider. I have concluded my my "BOLD" Yahoo email account.

I also use Desktop Manager to sync my calendar, contacts to do list and memo to Yahoo list.

I noticed that on the "BOLD" in the calendar options, wireless synchronization is set to no and I can't change that, Yes.

Is it possible that I can do this so that the changes made to my calendar appear immediately on Yahoo and my "BOLD"?

    Thank you

    Paul

Wireless sync is possible for e-mails from the company. For any Web based emails, which is known as the BIS service, are not capable of wireless sync.

  • Synchronization for Smartphones blackBerry calendar issue

When I sync my Curve 8320 with Outlook, he's continually trying to remove entries of agenda as recently as 3 months ago.  I want to maintain a value of 12-month calendar on the handheld entries and stay on my computer to a value of 3 years of the calendar entries in Outlook.  Are there settings that I can adjust, or on your handheld or desktop software, to achieve this?  Thank you very much.

Under Advanced options, you need to mark all calendar entries, if the problem persists and you have him try to work in Outlook calendar to reset the calendar, follow this link

  • Email synchronization to Smartphones blackBerry with Outlook 2007

I am absolutely new to Blackberry, so I hope there is a solution to my problem.  I was syncing my device with Outlook and Calendar Contacts tasks & Memo Pad all sync using Desktop Manager, but there is no possibility to synchronize email.  As the strength of the Blackberry is its email management I know I must be missing something.  I am an individual user, and that's why I use BIS.  I've just migrated from a Palm tree where I had no such problem.  In addition, the e-mail program will not synchronize wireless.

A way to fix this takes a few steps. They may need to be modified depending on how you use your email and if you have multiple addresses among other things, but most of what follows can be useful:

1 using the webclient Blackberry (the correct link to use would be provided by your service provider) you can manage your email addresses for your Blackberry.

One of the options provided in the webclient service allows you to automatically bcc to another e-mail address you have, all emails you send from the Blackberry. This gives you a way to actually get a copy in your Outlook. You can then set a rule in Outlook to move all emails that come from your Blackberry in your 'sent' folder, or any other, you choose to do this.

If you use only one address you can bcc yourself and then put in place a (also available in your webclient) filter to avoid duplicates, back to your Blackberry.

    2. When you send emails from Outlook, bcc those you want to appear on your Blackberry directly to your

    Blackberry e-mail address.

The final result is not exactly the same email synchronization would achieve, but I found that it gives me useful information on what email I sent him, if I use Outlook or my Blackberry at the same time.

I hope that helps a little...

  • Calendar of Double of Smartphones blackBerry on "BOLD" after update

    Hello world

After an update with the latest version on a Bold 9000, the calendar is only in a double room, the configuration is BIS actually, so wireless synchronization is not enabled.

can someon help me remove the wipe of some double unit calendar?

    Thank you

I found the solution by myself.

It is not important what BlackBerry model is:

    1. navigate to the calendar, and then click Bby, go to OPTIONS and enter. Here you have the list of options and the available calendars (color).

    2. then type RSET on your keyboard and you will be prompted to clear all the entries and they will be downloaded from the server. Click OK, and then continue, a confirmation message will appear, click OK again and return to the main screen.

    3. now the calendar is empty. IMPORTANT: If you're on BES will be downloaded calendar synchronization of your mobile operator, if you are on BIS you synchronize with you're Outlook again.

    Hope will help many users.

  • Synchronize the Smartphone blackBerry Bold 9650 with Outlook 2010

Update Outlook 2010 and my Bold 9650 will not sync contacts and calendar.  I get emails and have entered all the information in setting up the feature on the "BOLD"?  It's crazy!  Help!

Sorry for not responding earlier; been out of town on business.

After much trying this and that, I discovered the issue referenced on the site 2010 download, or point and click.  Of course, although it is acceptable to Microsoft it is not supported by Blackberry once you get the real disk, you will need to uninstall the point and click on reinstall via the disc.  This allows also to Office 2010 to run faster given it is on your hard drive and not a virtual place.

  • Synchronization to Smartphones blackBerry w / Desktop Manager deleted all events iCal

I just updated my Desktop Manager for Mac 1.0.3 (version 16) and on the first synchronization of my Curve 8900 (OS 4.6.1.231) he deleted all calendar events in my ical.  All events are on my BB, but none of them are on my iCal, and they used to synchronize on.  Is it possible to fix this?

    Here is the solution

It's an old fix for the same problem since a previous update, but it worked like a charm!  Use OPTION 1, and when you restart your Office Manager and to synchronize your information make sure you MERGE data from your ical has been allowed to go out!
