  I managed to find the location of downloaded programs C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe and went to its properties.
  In run this program as compatible for -

  This model came with W7 and was never anywhere close to XP.

  I chose W7 and now well after weeks of faffing.

  Welcome to the HP support community! I saw your post about the problem with Google Chrome works not once you've done an update. You have problems if you use a different browser? I would recommend that you uninstall Chrome and reinstall.

  I was not able to open Google Chrome for a few days.  I tried to uninstall the program, so I could always install thinking that would solve the question, but I'm not able to uninstall.  Finally, I realized that I was not able to open Chrome since the last round of updates to Microsoft Windows on May 23, 2015. So, I tried to uninstall all 6 updates (not knowing who has the problem), but have only managed to uninstall 2 of them - KB3035583 and KB3046480. I am now able to open Chrome... yay!

  I now want to know is

  (1) what are the 2 updates above?

  (2) are 'important '?

  (3) do I reinstall and do not have Chrome work?

  (4) how do I update/uninstall and reinstall Chrome?

  I suggest that you run ADWcleaner.  Also check the modules under the Tools menu.  Security under Options by default.

  Your printer is compatible with the PC. Windows 7 already includes the drivers.  You will need a USB cable between the printer and PC connection to install the driver. Follow the instructions on this document from HP web.

Now, it's a 50-50 chance that when I get to the sign in page - I'll either get arrested here with the keychain error pop ups or it will allow me to the desktop view. I'm beyond disgusted at this stage because what should have been simple has become a living nightmare.

  I checked through the archives and found a lot of Keychain, but nothing seems to fix mine.

  I get the following:

• Reformat and re-install XP SP2 but now struggling with the updates. Windows Update does not work. Loading SP3 will fix this?
