Google Earth do not support DirectX

I have installed Google Earth on my old desktop computer running Windows XP Professional. After finishing, I open it, displays the first message, Google earth is not supported graphics card in my computer when I check do not show this message again and the second message appears, "DirectX" mode not supported.
It gives 4 suggestions for correction:
(1) set to "True color" (32 bit) color depth in display properties
(2) start Google Earth after waiting a minute
(3) close the other applications (especially if they use 3D)
(4) download and install DirectX 9.0 c or higher by following the link

Here is what happened:
(1) I already had the "True Color" (32 bit) value
(2) tried starting after a minute - same as before
(3) no other application was open
(4) downloaded DirectX according to the instructions

I always get the same error message. I found Googling it might be a problem with the graphics card drivers. I think the graphics card is a 8586 Intel graphics (I hope I got this right!).

It also makes no difference to the opening of Google Earth, however.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

In any case, I try to use the latest version of Google earth, but cannot use it and when I try to installed later in my desktop computer, run windows 7, it works fine.
I tried to download the previous version of google earth, version 6.2, I can install and use it very well.
It's that I would ask that this problem seems to be caused by windows, hardwars or Google earth?

  • Google earth does not load

A recent update to google earth means now that it does not load on my Apple Mac (OS El Capitan version 10.11.6). Ideas for something simple as this seems to be a big problem to read the support section.

I tried to go back to older versions of the Earth, which worked well, but cannot get them to load up to now either.

Think its something to do with the option to connect to the Earth, but it crashes before I even get to do and creates a massive error report.

    Thank you very much

Not sure what you mean by 'recent '. Just looked at today and it is the same version from 20/05/2015. Works for me on OSX 10.11.6.

  • Windows 8.1 & Google Earth does not

I just upgraded my Dell Inspiron One 2330 (touch screen with AMD HD7650A) of Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows.  I also downloaded from Dell Download Center and installed new drivers for Windows 8.1.  However, for some reason, Google Earth (7.1) crashes whenever I try to open it.  A message appears and says that DirectX does not, while he leaves the program.  I checked everything, including Directx and found no flaws on software or hardware.  It seems that Google Earth has problems with the screen resolution?  Should I reload Directx?  Can someone give me a hand?   Thanks in advance!

After installation and test different versions of AMD/Dell video drivers and the Goodle Earth, the problem was finally.  It's a problem of compatibility of Windows DirectX 8.1 with Google Earth.  In the last test, I started 8.1 Windows through "Safe Mode" and then on the GE (Version 7.1).  The GE started nicely and also acknowledged the HD display that never happened with Windows before 8.  I was able to change the "Graphics Mode" in "Views" of "DirectX" to "OpenGL" and restarted Windows 8.1 normally.  The GE has worked well since.

  • Why Google Chrome is not supported in the Apex?

I saw it listed in the V3.2 release notes.

Anyone know if there are issues with Chrome, or it's just a matter of not wanting to try to support too? Not that I think a lot of people really use it yet (or never?).

My limited experience in my Apex via Chrome applications has been flawless, but we are about to release to production with outside users, so I can't check what are the browsers they accompany in. Or should I put a conditional test on the first page to check something their browser other than FireFox and IE?

Does anyone know of issues specific to Chrome, including in running an application (as opposed to develop)?

    Thank you

    Stew

p.s. I'm not trying to bash Chrome. It is a good idea and a decent app for what it does. If it was compatible with RoboForm, I would use it regularly.

  • Beware of the android market to google - google does not support

Beware of purchases on the Google Android Market, if you make a material data reset on your phone, which is very likely, you might lose the application and be required to buy it again.

In collaboration with T-Mobile and Motorola support staff, I was required to do a factory data reset my phone as a condition to receive technical support. T-Mobile and Motorola and another poster on forum fletch33 representatives assured me I would not charged again if I downloaded the same google checkout account applications.

Fortunately, I used American Express, who quickly withdrew the duplicate payments because google checkout does NOT support customer. I have provided screen shots attached to google which show that the initial purchase and recovery of the software that I bought were the same google checkout account.

Just take it slow and it should work for you. It seems more difficult than it is. The worst is that there are applications for this, but you need to root the phone to use. If you root voiding you any warranty, that's how the developers. Good luck, let me know if make you it work. Can't wait to see some screenshots on your part.
